22 Immortality Bestowed

Vex showed up on the low-class planet now named Earth looking at the grim-faced Gilgamesh from a distance.

As he saw him walking towards the village of his attempted assassins he decided to give Gilgamesh a boon. For the first time in millennia, he had been shocked into disbelief. He decided that he would gift Gilgamesh the one thing he withheld in his previous transformation - immortality as well as access to a virtual enlightenment world.

Enlightenment worlds were one of the most important creations Parthians had ever made. Every Parthian could connect to an enlightenment world in their consciousness but to truly learn one usually went to a physical world that Parthians had built for enlightenment. Gilgamesh had now unknowingly received both genetically bound enlightenment and true immortality.

Vex thought 'I wonder what he will accomplish with it but it is up to him now.'

After giving Gilgamesh a grandfatherly look, he vanished to his pocket dimension once again.
