12 Growing Powers

As Gilgamesh set upon his goal to defeat the dragons, a certain madness set in and his powers seemed to radiate from within. A righteous aura poured out from him which was much more tangible then any human could produce.

Walking to the nearest pond to wash himself Gilgamesh looked at his reflection in the water and saw a completely different person. If he was considered handsome before, now his features seemed completely changed.

Instead of grey eyes, his eyes now seemed tinged in red with unnatural swirls of gold. His once greying hair, which started to develop when he turned 35, was now completely a white gold color and his face looked as if he had regained his youth.

Other things changed as well. His skin became silkier and slightly paler and his muscle had become much more pronounced. He looked as if he had worked out tirelessly for years to obtain an Olympic body.

He felt an unnatural power that he didn't have before. He felt as if he could uproot a tree with his bare hands. He felt a connection to a larger creative force which was difficult to describe with mere words.

Gilgamesh thought about the dragons that killed the villagers, that killed his family and his fist clenched and his blood began dripping to the ground. Gilgamesh was amazed when he found out that his hand healed almost instantly.

To achieve his revenge, Gilgamesh knew he had to use his new powers. Burning with an intense desire to kill the dragons and imagining using a sword to hack his enemies to pieces, a crude makeshift sword started to form in his hand. Gilgamesh tried to grip it before it faded.

Using the feeling he had when he conjured the makeshift sword, he increased his focus and in front of his eyes, the crude weapon turned into a beautiful sword made out of the rarest and useful materials one could think of. Gilgamesh swung the sword and he knew, he created a real jewel of a weapon.

Gilgamesh made clothes appear on his body and began the bloody journey to find the dragons that destroyed his village. He wanted them to regret the day they threw him to the ground and carelessly left him alive.
