A Week Later

A red-eyed man on a planet in the same solar system is filled with exasperation. His son had gone to a primitive planet in their solar system to go sightseeing but he had been away too long without communication. His son was always eager to share his latest discoveries. It was unusual to have no contact for such a long time.

As a Parthian, the man was not afraid. He knew, his race was innately gifted in almost every way. Almost nothing could kill a full-grown Parthian. After all, they had their own individual pocket dimensions. He missed his son and wanted him to return.

Another man walked into the room calling, "Lord Ibex! There has been a temporal distortion reported near the planet that Calvis is on." Lord Ibex's face furrowed and worry for his son began to set in.

While temporal distortions don't happen often, they have been seen before in the Parthian's multigalactic empire. Of course, almost anything the universe had to offer had been seen before in their millions year old empire or told about in their billions year old culture but temporal distortions were among the most unpredictable.

"Idreile, send the most elite Parthian Garde to find my son and potentially deal with whatever the temporal distortion brought!" Lord Ibex shouted with worry.

Parthians, in their 16 Billion-year history, had evolved to such a level that a fully educated and trained Parthian could conquer a planet that had not developed dimensional level technology. Even, if the civilization was a space-faring one it could be brought down by an individual elite Parthian utilizing their intellect and knowledge gathered in their virtual enlightenment worlds.

The elite Parthian Garde was mostly used to settle fights between Parthian factions or when intergalactic wars took place. The fact, that Lord Ibex sent them proved the severity of the situation and the care he had for his son.

The commander having known Lord Ibex for millennia and knowing his concern for his son responded resolutely, "Don't worry I will bring him home." He left to find Lord Ibex's noble son, after all lives of nobles were held at the utmost value.

On the third most planet from the sun, Calvis awoke breaking through the cocoon he had spun and looked at his surroundings in confusion All he saw was forest. The beast that he had discovered earlier had vanished.

Although the cocoon was made of nearly indestructible material, Calvis ripped through the cacoon with ease. Deciding he had enough of this planet he picked up his high tech scanner before vanishing from this location and appearing on the second most planet scaffold structure.

Scaffolds were something the Parthian race built billions of years ago and were the basis of their empire. Scaffolding allowed for the building of dimensional spaces attached to planets that could be as large or often times several times larger than the planet.

These dimensional spaces were the reason why overpopulation never became a problem. Most planets were characterized by peaceful coexistence. Large population numbers never became a problem even for the most popular planets and solar systems as long as enough power was provided. These dimensional spaces could be expanded infinitely and most resources were inexhaustible.

Nobles and royalty could sustain and create such spaces with minimal effort. They had perfected the design and construction of Dyson spheres that provided an almost endless amount of energy utilizing the of a solar system's sun.

Calvis ran to the gleaming Technology Palace looming in front of him and telepathically informed his father of his arrival, 'Father I'm home no need to do anything drastic.' Lord Ibex hearing his son informed Commander Idreile telepathically to return and thought to himself, 'Time to check on this trouble son of mine. I hope nothing untoward happened to him.'

Calvis appeared in the meditation chamber that he sensed his father in. He was looking at his father's fair face and striking red eyes so similar to his. As he embraced his father, Calvis said, " I think something is wrong with me."
