9 A New World

When Calvis arrived in his new world he was shocked at first but the surprise was soon replaced by excitement. In here was space to grow, to explore and to rear new creations which he could hide from his father.

Ever since he had awoken from that strange dream he had gained memory and information that wasn't present in any Parthian database. He felt as if his innate nature had changed. He had become a new person.

Normal Parthians feed off the creative energy in the surrounding universe. Even before the rise of the empire, Parthians acquired the ability to tap into this energy on a genetic level. Calvis fed off a much larger source. This energy was all-encompassing and something that solely belonged to him. He acquired the power of entropy and destruction of all things. He fed off the destruction that is happening, as well as what has already happened or will soon happen. He felt this connection grow stronger with time.

The memories he had gotten were from a creature with a life span that was much longer than his. Although Calvis had lived already 780,000 intergalactic years, he was still considered a child. He had recently completed his education in one the Parthian Empire's best enlightenment worlds a planet called Xuhai.

The new memories taught him a way to build megalithic biostructures that he could control. Based on this new knowledge he wanted to experiment. He had long been self-aware of the parasite lurking in him but he found through his introspective awareness that he was fusing with the creature instead of the creature leeching off of him.

All he needed was material for his experiments. In order to start the experiments, he created in his new world a magnificent castle which was ten times bigger than the one created in his father's scaffold. Grass, trees and other basic none sentient life began to spring up.

While Parthians could create plant life, they were unable to create sentient life. Calvis would see if he could prove them wrong. He decided to get materials for his experiments from a primitive planet that had yet to develop dimensional level technology.

Calvis decided to travel to a planet. Upon his arrival, he noticed flying cars and gleaming cities but no advanced dimensional level technology.

"This will do," Calvis said as he entered one of the cities.
