3 The Teacher?

John looked at the floor before smiling at kale,

"life is a strange think aint it?" kale looked at john with a confused expression "what do you mean john?"

john just smiled at kale before looking into the sky, then he looked at all his surroundings as if this was the last time he'll ever see them, "im hesitant to grow stronger than i am" kale looked at john and just smiled "its your choice in the end john but may i know why?"

john smiled before walking towards a small hill and sitting down on the grass kale following close behind curious at johns behaviour, he looked at john laying down with his eyes closed.

"kale you know, every time i close my eyes i see the slaughter, the screams all blur into one, i see blood of more people than i'll ever count, you know what i find scarier than seeing a massacre like that?"

kale sat down near john and asked "what?"

"being so used to it that life and death know longer have any meaning to you, your life means nothing to me kale, no matter how nice you are, khors life means nothing to me, everybody ive ever seen in my life, they mean nothing to me, i watched my parents die in front of me without second thought, i could have probably saved them, but i couldn't be bothered all i wanted to do was take a nap so i did and left em there, kale, even my life means nothing to me, power, strength, wealth who cares about all that, i want the strength to be able to travel and enjoy myself without a care in the world, i had that before i came here, i had just enough strength so i could go anywhere i damn well pleased, you must know how free that feels, to be able to go wherever you want whenever, but you want to know why im hesitant for strength? do you truly want to know or are you just asking for the sake of asking?"

Kale looked at john with an emotionless expression, he just sat there motionless next to john processing everything he just heard, "john, i honestly dont care about your life nor do i care about how you feel about me, in the end i cant die and everybody who comes through this city leaves quickly do you know how boring it is to be trapped in a city for 200 hundred years? its so boring, but here comes some little kid who has more sins than everybody stuck in this city combined, of course im going to be interested in finding out every little thing there is about you, not because i care but because im bored and curious just like everybody else in this god forsaken town."

john smiled at kale and burst out laughing

"hah, guess i dont need to act anymore"

johns aura grew stronger, pressuring kale, not in the way that somebody stronger could pressure a weakling since johns strength didnt grow at all, he mixed his killing intent into his aura

"kale im hesitant to get stronger, so i dont cause the massacre in my dreams to happen again, that would be too much of hassle with everyone chasing me and whatnot but now im stuck in this town i guess there no issue is there?" john smiled realising even more killing intent

kale had beads of sweat rolling down his forehead, many people in the town where alerted by such strong killing intent and decided to follow it.

soon everyone had gathered around john and kale and just stared at john, everyone had beads of sweat rolling down their foreheads

john smiled at everyone "ah it feels so good to not have to restrict the aura anymore, do you know how restricting it feels to keep it in at all times dont even get me started on keeping it in when i sleep" everyone hesitated to even move they just stared at john, visible red and black smoke seemingly appearing around him as if he was the devil himself

john smile at everyone and realised why they where staring, he noticed the sweat rolling down their forheads "you guys cant die right? why're you scared of some killing intent? ugh guess i gotta keep it under wraps again"

john pulled his killing intent in quickly everyone felt like they could move freely once again while kale layed down as he had been the closest to the sourse, un able to move, talk or even breath, kale sighed loudly and spoke softly still struggling to catch his breath, "john its not fear, its the pressure of your aura, it seems to block our cultivation and pressures us from the inside, its not that we're scared of you its that we just couldnt move"

john just started laughing, louder and louder everyone looked at him uncomfortably as though wondering what his next move is

john laughed more then just smiled at everyone "i wanna get stronger n remember all my memories so i'll be counting on you all for if i have questions " he smiled at them and left

then shortly after they all went there separate ways sweat disappearing slowly as they all thought about what happened, kale remained laying there, just thinking about what had went down he got up smiled and looked in the direction john left in "i guess everyone has to keep a secret of there own don't they? i wonder if you'll ever talk to us sora" then he simply vanished from the spot that he was standing in.
