3 Swan Hotel

"Good Evening everyone! Welcome back to Radio 65, and I'm your host Victor! Today was a much brighter day, wasn't it! Hoped everyone managed to get outside! Our show today is sponsored by Kola, the most refreshing drink you'll ever sip! On to today's news, the Highway towards the Downtown District has experienced some traffic issues! The mayor's party had blocked the main road for the opening of a new skyscraper. More news will be announced tomorrow by the Mayor's speech at the weekly city hall meeting. But don't worry everyone, I'll keep you company with some sweet music! So let's get this evening started with Leah's hit song "In the skies"!

"Hey, I love this song! Ken, you need to listen to it!"

"Let me sleep for the rest of the damn ride please."

"Aw come on man! This is Leah we're talking about!"

"Sorry boss, the traffic is terrible!"

"We have some time, so it's all good!"

After a few minutes on the long highway, the taxi enters the Downtown District of the city where all the wealthiest people lived at. People with business suits kept walking through the streets on their phones and skyscrapers were seen every 2 blocks.

"Downtown, man this place is just full of black suits!"

"Makes this place feel really professional."

"Couldn't they add a bit more color to their suits? The more I look, the duller it gets."

"Color?"

"Yeah, like a red suit or something, it might be cool!"

"Boss, we've arrived at Swan Hotel!" The driver exclaimed as the taxi stopped outside a white building.

The hotel's entrance looked grand as the first thing you see is a glass door with red carpet and professional men with suits guarding the door.

"Great! How much is the ride?"

"Twenty, Boss!"

"Twenty?! When did rides become so expensive?"

"Boss, the times aren't good for us now."

"Argh, fine here."

"Thank you, boss!'

"Yeah yeah, Ken let's get out."

The two of them got out and stretched their necks as they walked to the entrance.

"Man I'm gonna get my car next time, Taxis are gonna run me dry!"

"Then stop finding jobs that make us go to another district."

"Alright I get it, now let's meet Leah!"

Ken and Mike managed to get through the entrance with the pass mike showed to the two guards. Inside was quite cold and had classical music playing in the background. Everyone inside was wearing formal suits and dress.

"Where did you get that pass?"

"It comes with the job anyways let's get moving!"

"Is the dress code in this place always formal?" Ken asked as he looked around

"Their dressing to impress, that's what people told me. Anyways enough about that, we gotta find Leah's manager."

"What for?"

"To show up for work! Anyways he should be on the 3rd floor."

As they walk up the fancy stairs, Ken looked around some more and compared his attire with everyone else.

"I feel... Underdressed."

"You look fine! Anyways I think we're here. Now let's see..."

Mike took out a photo and showed it to Ken.

"We are finding this guy. Sunglasses, long black coat, and Fedora can't miss him!"

"He looks like a gang boss."

"That's probably why we were able to get the job anyways let's get moving!"

The 3rd floor was a large restaurant filled with people dining on food that look more like art pieces that something delicious. Right at the back next to a large window was a man that fit the description of the photo eating at a four-person table alone.

Ken and Mike approached the man, and he looks up.

"You've finally arrived, good. You may call me Mr.Will. I'll be brief, protect Leah at all cost. Should nobody come close to her as she travels around, I don't want to hear anything going wrong got it? She's in room 814 on the 8th floor, make sure no one follows you and knock before you shout your name. Then wait for her to ask you for a password and say "Ocean Nights," now go."

The manager waves them off and continues to eat the fish that was on a bed of cucumber.

Ken and Mike head to the elevator and waited.

"Gah, that was scary! Looking at him gave me chills!" Mike commented as he looked back at the manager who was busy eating.

"Why is the manager eating alone and not staying beside Leah if his so worried about her?"

"No idea, but I don't want to go back and ask!"

Finally, the empty lift opens, and the two of them enter.

Arriving on the 8th floor there wasn't anybody wandering the hallways, and every footstep they took echoed. After walking to the end of the corridor, they reached the room labeled 814

"Jeez did they have to get a room so far from the lift?"

"Just knock already."

"Yeah I'm on it, don't rush me!"

Mike knocks on the door

"This is the bodyguards Mr.Will hired. We were told to come over!"

There was a pause for a bit and just before Mike could try and knock on the door again a young girl's voice was heard from the other side of the door.

"Password."

"Password? Oh yeah, it's um, ah shit Ken what was the password?"

"Ocean Nights"

After another minute of silence, the door opens, and a girl peeks out the door.

"So you two are my bodyguards for today?"

"Yes, Miss.Leah! We were hired to make sure you are completely safe!"

"Well come inside first, no one followed you right?"

Mike looked around before replying "No there wasn't anyone."

Leah then opened the door to let Ken and Mike inside.

The room looked like a standard hotel room with a flatscreen TV and a single bed for Leah to sleep in. The bathroom door was closed, and the window was covered by the curtains while the ceiling light keeps the room lit.

"The window's closed? Don't you want to see the view?"

"Don't ask stupid questions and just do your job by standing there and keeping silent alright?"

Mike's chance of having small talk with Leah was immediately shut down and was now slightly hurt.

"I will not be leaving this room for 2 hours so just guard the door."

Leah then jumped onto the bed and started watching the TV.

"Welcome to your evening news! Julia here covering for Mia! On today's news, the Mayor has closed down the main road of the downtown district to make way for his guest! Most of them include high-level celebrities, some of the wealthiest people in the city and government officials! The skyscraper that the Mayor is celebrating the opening of is a new office for the Mok Company; the Mayor will be talking more about it in his speech an hour from now! In other news..."

While Leah had her eyes glued to the TV, Mike whispered to Ken.

"This was not what I expected."

"That's why the phrase never meet your heroes exist."

"I know but still!"

"Hey, I told you to be quiet!" Leah shouted at them, but she was still looking at the screen.

Mike gritted his teeth as they stood there for the next 2 hours
