I found this novel somewhere else and enjoyed it. The FL is different from the usual perfect character with medical,master assassin +++ skills which is refreshing. She is somewhat close to her family and there seems to be no step mother, sister etc. mixup. This is a relief. She just wants to have a normal life without the excitement avoiding palace politics, however I am getting the impression that's not going to go her way. Its early yet so I'm giving it a reserved 4 until further chapters. Looking forward to more chapters.
A friend recommended this story and although it's still starting out, so far it seems really interesting, the female lead is really cool and funny and also really smart, definitely the kind of person who can talk her way out of anything😂😂...and honestly, her aspirations are what I would plan for if I ever transmigrated, although I doubt I could pull off her antics, I'm unfortunately not as eloquent LOL...You're doing a great job author!!
Completed 151 chapters and here I'm 💁 giving it 5🌟 coz these 151 chapters have been a joyful ride for me , worth every second, it was hilarious 🤣 must add master Lou is my favourite 👍👍👍 love everything about the book, the storyline, the characters, the progress, the author Everything!! (Oh must the FL is kinda dumb although she is smart😅😅) Yeah , sometimes some characters or extra chapters get annoying or you may not like how things turn out as a reader but the Author really makes up for it, 😘😘, she actively responds to the comments and interacts which is sincerely fun and deeply appreciated (which added the extra points and made vote a perfect 5🌟)and lots of love to the author,, keep up the awesome work💕💕💕
This novel was an experiment for me as I never found myself inclined into the historical romance genre. After reading more than 150 chapters of this novel, I find this to be a success. The book keeps me on my toes; it astonishes me and yet leaves me in splits the next second. Lei Xing is a breath of fresh air from the usual female leads that are often dramatic, sensitive, and naive. Her presence of mind and thinking is the most valuable asset in her story. Every single character in this story has its ups and downs, and no-one is two dimensional. While most figures in Chinese novels has at times, black and white tones, this has grey all over. There is a reason why the characters are the way they are. The storyline develops from a simple transmigration plot into something much more. The twists and turns in the story are new and non-cliche. The writing style is flowing with undertones of humor in it. It allows the reading to be easy on the eyes and not too intense at you need a break after reading a few chapters. It can easily binge read. It was pure luck that I saw this novel and the gut feeling to press read, and my instinct was right because it is easily one of the most memorial stories i have read, and I, as a reader, see a lot of scope for its future.
A typical story about transmigrating girl from modern times to the past (a lot of mystery in between involving that). I didn’t mind the story in the beginning, I quite liked it . But as the chapters go on, she keeps having these long ass crazy monologues that gives people headache (they were funny in the beginning and then annoying towards the middle). I don’t know about you but that turned me off as I kept reading. And the mystery is not written pretty well . I don’t know how explain this aspect . It’s like the author wants us to know there is a mystery, you get that part but it is not shown through actions (maybe this is not the best way to put it) but it’s just confusing and for me it was not worth it so I stopped reading it midway. But other than that, not bad I should say. I thought there should be an honest critic here instead of just generously giving away high ratings. Good luck reading it!
AWESOME!!!! Keep it Up 👍, the story is very enjoyable and main lead is hilarious and very reasonable, not a genius or OP (frankly she's far from being OP) She's cool-headed, smart and quick-witted and makes up for what she lacks in skills with those qualities (can't blame her though most people don't learn those ancient skills these days😂) and she's not from a distant OP future, she's very relatable as a character...anyway, who needs skills when you're such a great talker🤷🏼♀️...I think she'd make a good strategist or better yet, politician LOL 🤣🤣🤣
This book is amazing! if I could buy a hard copy for my bookshelf I totally would! The author is amazing! Mirai Saesang works so hard at the translations and updates are almost every day. There so many fun twists and turns and it just makes one hunger for more. This author is my favorite of all the stories I've read. They comment on your comments and it's easy to tell they really love what they're doing. This author is still so young too! This story started in their high school years! I have been following this story for quite a while in Scribblehub. It is refreshing. It's not a typical transmigrating story like others. The FL and ML are both strong characters in their own ways. Not overbearing or dominance as always. The FL didn't have that heaven-defying skills or whatever mystical related stuff like in other novels. Yet, her personality and mannerism had won the hearts of those who were close to her. I really enjoy it. 💓💓
The story is overall really good, but the reading experience is heavily gutted by the random Ant short stories in-between chapters. When I'm binge reading a novel, and I'm really immersed, the last thing I want is some silly author comment or complete sidetrack that brings me out of the story, and currently that's all the Ant stories serves to do. If anyone finds it hard to understand or relate to what I mean, perhaps this example will help you; Let's imagine you're in the movie theater watching a new movie for the first time, like Avengers Endgame. You're really immersed in the movie and completely enthralled, when suddenly, in the middle of a climactic moment the movie pauses and it shows the cast being interviewed by an ant in a really silly mood for about 5 minutes, and then after that it goes back to the epic conclusion of the scene you were watching. If this happened you'd be COMPLETELY pulled out of the story, and even if you didn't mind the premise of the sidetracking, you'd still have to immerse yourself again, and the suspension would be gone from the original moment. Now imagine that, but throughout the movies duration this happens multiple times, seemingly at random. It would take you out of the story in an instant each time, and this is what I believe the ant stories do. Please Author, go back and remove them, they really mess with any flow and momentum the story has, and it's such a joy kill. For me the current reading experience suffers so much from these sidetracks that it's a 2/5 for me, instead of a 5/5, and it's such a simple fix.
