14 Chapter 14: Monotone Civilian

Yaoyorozu's POV

I watch Todoroki walk off with Cementoss. The other teams went inside to monitor Todoroki's position and monitor how we acted.

I felt a knot in my stomach, rescuing Todoroki? I still can't believe he was chosen instead of one of us.

About twenty minutes later, Aizawa called for us to enter. The timer started, and we all dashed into the city of stone.

We contstantly had Jirou plug her jacks into the concrete to see if she could breathing.

"Who knew finding Todoroki would be so hard..?" Kirishima sighed.

"If I were Todoroki, where would I be stuck and in need?" Sero mouthed to himself, looking around.

"He wouldn't.." Jirou remarked. I looked to Jirou, us all knowing that she was completely right.

How are we going to find him, we only have so much time left..

"Ugh if only we had something other than Jirou's quirk to sense him.." Kirishima groaned. That is when it came to me. The body heat sensor from when Todoroki and I were trapped.

"I got an Idea everybody." I told them, they raised and Eyebrow as I pulled the device out from the back of my neck. I modified it to where it was smaller.

"A compass?" Sero asked as I showed it to them.

"No, it's a heat sensor, we can track hm down with this!" I exclaimed turning it on. "There is a dot not too far from us.

They nodded, running after me. We finally arrived at the position the sensor led us to. I looked at Jirou and she nodded.

Sticking her earphone jacks in the concrete, she spoke. "He's here."

"How do we get up there? I can see an entree at the top but.." Sero pointed out.

Mineta walked in front of us. "Let ME handle this!" He said quite confidently. I looked as he rapidly pulled balls from his hair, sticking them to wall. He made a ladder for us to climb.

We climbed up and found Todoroki looking up at us. "Help, I'm injured." He said that in the most monotone voices ever. I rolled my eyes with a smirk, his acting is horrible, but I decided to play along.

"Don't worry sir, we'll have you treated in no time!" I jump down, landing on my feet. I smile and pick Todoroki up bridal style. Sero wrapped his tape around my waist, and everyone above pulled me and Todoroki up.

Aizawa talked into our head pieces, "Greet job guys, you did this successfully. Return to the building and treat the injured man ."

We all cheered happily as we returned back to "base". I carried Todoroki back because he thought he had to still act injured. Jirou snickered in front of me. I glared, and she pulled it together and quickly turned around.

"How'd you find me so quickly?" Todoroki asked me out of his "horrible acting".

I look down at him, "Well, remember when we were trapped in that loop. I used the heat device. I even made it smaller." I say pridefully, but in a kind manner.

"Oh." He mouthed, "that was smart of you." I opened and quickly closed my mouth, my cheeks becoming tinted with pink. I accidentally found myself gripping his shirt as I walked along. I look down at the Todoroki in my arms and found he looked a bit uncomfortable.

Once I figured out what he was uncomfortable with I spoke. "Want me to put you down?" I calmly asked him.

He had this awkward silence, but I understood. I set him back on his feet.

"Sorry, you could have said something though." He nodded while had a slight smile and, for some reason, I patted the top of his head as if he was a dog.

"....."

My cheeks turned red and I ran in front of Jirou and edged her to where I was far from Him. Why did I do that?! That was so stupid, he isn't a dog Momo, stupid!
