10 Chapter 10: Valentines Special - The Party Starts Now

Todoroki's POV

I woke up in my dorm room after a whole week of training.

I grunted and reached for my phone, which buzzed immediately. 1 Notification from "Calender" saying it was Valentine's Day.

"It's Valentine's Day already..?" I sighed. It took me a moment to realize that i didn't have the chocolates bought yet.

I grunted, realizing that I was out of time. I have no other solution but to make something off the top off my head.

I get up and change garment, getting ready for the day. After I headed to closet, and pulled out a box of stationary. I like to write, I suppose.

I grab a pen off a desk, and I start writing.

I open the door and head downstairs, hoping to grab something small for breakfast. But what I saw when I walked down the steps was.. unsettling.

Cut out hearts hung on the ceiling, and all sorts of reds and pinks were all over the room. In bold letters there was a banners that read "Happy Valentines"

"..." I stand there without words. "Oh god-" A rough and grumpy voice came from behind me.

"Morning Bakugo." I say bluntly. "What is all this?"

"How the _ am I supposed to know?! I bet the girls pulled some _ !!" Bakugo responded angrily.

Mina spun from around the corner, saying "indeed we did! We set up a party in the dorms. But it doesn't officially start until everyone is awake. I got Kirishima to go wake up all the boys for us!"

"Is that really necessary?" I asked.

"Yes, That way we can start the party earlier!" Mina said confidently . Bakugo cliccked his tongue and head back upstairs, but Mina grabbed his collar and dragged him into another room. "You are attending, whether you like it or not!" Bakugo grunted ferociously.

Party starts—-

Yaoyorozu's POV

"We really did a great job on this . " Jirou said to me.

I nodded happily, "Yeah we did. It looks wonderful. Everyone looks so happy about this."

"Except Bakugou." Jirou laughed. I let myself giggle at her smart comment.

I couldn't help but to wonder where Todoroki was. I spotted him by the punch bowl, looking likens was seriously thinking about something.

"I'll be right back." I told Jirou, and she nodded.

I walked up to Todoroki after edging past some people. I tapped him on the shoulder, " Todoroki, are you ok?"

"Yeah, it's just..." he turned to look at me. "I have a lot on my mind."

I furrowed my eyebrow. "Is this about 'that'? I can't stop thinking about it either if so. It scares me to wonder if it will come back."

He looked at me seriously. "Of course it will come back. It wouldn't come just to toy with some students."

Todoroki has a point but I decided to brush it off. "Well it's Valentine's Day, so we can rest easy."

Todoroki smiles slightly. "Good because I got something for you. I don't know all about Valentines, neither do I know the meaning, but, here." He handed me a drawing of Me in my hero costume and some dark chocolates sprinkles with some peanuts. How'd he know that I like this brand of chocolate?

I smiled warmly to him. "Thank you Todoroki. The drawing is beautiful. I didn't know you could draw so well."

"I practiced a lot when I was a kid. Mostly to make up my own reality.." Todoroki chuckled bitterly.

"Thanks Todoroki, I'll treasure this forever." I don't know why I did what I did next but, I pecked him on the cheek before walking away to Jirou.

This was.. a great valentines.
