WELCOME TO THE FARM HOUSE

"What do you mean by lucky you", I asked him. In his reply he said nothing adding a smirk on his face.

I didn't want to deep dig so I left the conversation there.

"I am hungry", I told him

Me too, I will stop the car in some nearby restaurant came his reply.

Luckily we didn't have to wait much before finally stopping near a fancy restaurant.

When we entered there I was taken by surprise. It was a dog's cafe and there were dogs everywhere and of every breed which meant that we could both eat and play with the dogs.

I love dogs was the only thing I could speak after seeing them. My eyes instantly lit up.

Jake went on to order food while I was busy with a golden retriever named Beta.

By the time we left the cafe I knew that I was in love with her.

Both of us got into the car and drove off.

The rest of our journey went in silence, both of us observing the areas passing by.

After about two and a half hour we reached his farmhouse.

The house was spread on a large area.

There was a beautiful garden in front of the house. It had many varieties of flowers.

It was very refreshing to look at such a beautiful view. Not to forget, there was a small river flowing beside the house.

My mind was blown off seeing such a beautiful sight.

Jake rung the house bell which was opened by a man who probably was in his mid 50's.

"Albert, how are you", said Jake

I am fine but how are you doing young master came in reply.

"As usual I missed your food", said Jake.

"I will cook your favorite food then", replied Albert

During there time of chit chat I was continuously looking at Jake and noticing the change he had since coming to his farmhouse. He was much more gentle and loving here.

Suddenly noticing my presence, Albert welcomed me with a warm handshake.

You must be Bella, young master told me of your arrival. I cooked your favorite dish today. I hope you love it.

" Well, but you do not know my favorite food", I told him

"Isn't mushroom your favorite food", asked Albert.

I was taken by surprise. My mouth was wide open.

"But how do you know"?, I asked him

Young master informed me came in reply.

I turned to look at Jake who had already turned around so as to avoid looking at me.

"Well thank you so much Albert. I would love to eat the food but 1st I need to freshen up", I told him.

"Albert please take her to the guest room", asked Jake.

I glared daggers at him and eventually left for the room since a car journey of 4 hours was quite tiring.

But before retiring I made sure to remember and ask Jake about his inhuman power of reading my mind and knowing my choices.
