3 Chapter 3: Kirata's Engagement

A half an hour passed, and Ella was finally home. She walked inside, and was confronted by Ligia, and Tiala! Ligia shouted "where is my stuff?!" Ella answered "its in these bags." Tiala shouted "worthless trash you took forever with out fabrics!" Ella said "sorry misses it won't happen again." Tiala slapped Ella across the face, and said "I bet it won't because aunt Hilda is very upset with you!" Ella walked to the dinning room while Tiala and Ligia walked after her while mocking her. Ella placed the bags on the table, and Tiala said "you are the worst servant girl ever!" Ligia added "I can't wait until mom gets comes to see you, and you get in trouble!" Ella asked "why do you feel so good in doing this?" Ligia answered "because its fun!" Ella sighed, and said "I wish I was home, I should've never jumped out of the window from the castle!" Tiala said "that's right you shouldn't have now your mommy, and daddy are dead, and no one wants you! Hahahahah!" Ms.Hilda walked up to Ella, Ligia, and Tiala with a smile on her face while saying "good one Tiala! Now Ella since you've taken so long I say a proper punishment for you is to clean everything from top to bottom, and there will be no dinner for you tonight." Ella shouted "but that isn't fair! I did what you asked!" Ms.Hilda smacked Ella in the face so hard her face turned red. Ms.Hilda said "mouth off to me again, and I'm have to get more violent. Do you understand?!" Ella held the side of her cheek while tears ran down her cheeks and said "yes I understand." They smiled at Ella, and took the bags while miss Hilda said "good now get to cleaning I want this house spotless!" They left while Ella looked around the dinning room to see dirty dishes on the table, food on the ground, dust on the chandelier, coffee dripping down the table from spilled over coffee cups, food on the table, and silverware on the floor. Ella sighed, and got a cleaning rag, a bucket filled with soapy water, a dusting cloth, a broom, and a dust pan. She carried these things back to the dinning room, and began cleaning up the mess.

An hour passed, and she finally had the dinning room clean, so she moved on to the kitchen, and began cleaning it. She did this for every room in the house until finally she was done. She put the cleaning supplies up, and made dinner. For their dinner she made them each steak, with a secret rub on it. Mash potatoes, corn on the cop, and a fresh salad on the side. She set the table for them, and they came down to eat dinner. Kirata said "the dinner is amazing as usual great job Ella." Ligia shouted "its disgusting, and I could use some lemonade!" Ella said "right away miss." She hurried, and made fresh lemonade for Kirata, Ligia, Tiala, and Ms.Hilda. She came back with freshly made lemonade, and glass cups. Moving hastily she gave them each cups, and poured them lemonade not missing a single drop. She set the pitcher of lemonade in the middle of the table, and watched them while they ate waiting for commands. Ligia drank some lemonade, and shouted "this is awful!" She threw the glass at Ella's head, but before it could hit her she ducked, and it hit the wall shattering scattering glass, and water all over the floor, and on Ella. Kirata shouted "what's wrong with you?!" Ella stood up dusting herself off from the glass. Tiala stood up, and tossed the lemonade in Ella's face. Tiala threw the glass on the floor, and it shattered. Kirata shouted "stop it you two what is wrong with you she did nothing wrong." Tiala sat down while saying "worthless trash!" Ms.Hilda shouted "how dare you upset them like that Ella for that you'll pay!" Ms.Hilda threw her plate to the ground breaking the plate, and scattering food all over the floor. Ms.Hilda shouted "clean this up, and don't expect anything from us for the rest of the night!" Ms.Hilda, Tiala, and Ligia left while laughing, and Kirata walked over to Ella asking "are you okay?" Ella answered "I'm fine miss." Kirata said "will you stop calling me that your not my slave!" Ella replied "Ms.Hilda would have a fit if I called you Kirata." Kirata said "well I don't care your my friend your not a slave." They picked up broken glass together, and Ella looked at Kirata's hand to see a diamond ring. Ella asked "what's that on your hand?" Kirata answered "I'm getting married to a guy who lives in the Nsia Village. I'm going to move in with him, and everything." Ella smiled, and said "really I'm so happy for you." Kirata said "yeah, but its 100 miles away so I was wondering if you wanted to come live with us?" Ella smiled, and replied "you have been such a help to me, you got me a Bible here, you've stood up for me, and you've treated me like a person for all these years. I want you to live your life out with you spouse, and have a good life." Kirata asked "yeah, but what about you?" Ella answered "my place is here with Daniel. I got to see him today. This is where I belong." Kirata shouted "but I can't just leave you here with her, and them!" Ella smiled, and said "don't you worry about anything, put it in God's hands not your own! You go, and live with him, you guys have a great, and don't you forget me either." Kirata said "your one of the nicest people I've ever met don't loose sight of that." The room went silent for a few minutes, and Ella asked "so when do you leave?" Kirata answered "tomorrow he sent a carriage for me." Ella said "well you should be packing not helping me!" Kirata replied "no I rather help you." Ella said "no no you need to get ready to go. I can take it from here." Kirata went off to pack her things, while Ella finished cleaning the dinning room, and went to her room in the basement. Her room smelled of dead lady bugs, and was damp. She had a lamp that sat on the side of her bed. Her bed had springs sticking out of it, and two thin blankets. On top of the blankets sat a red KJV Bible. She read the Bible, said her prayers, and went to sleep.

The hours pasted, and she was awoke by a voice yelling her name. She walked up stairs to see Ms.Hilda, Ligia, Tiala, and Kirata. Kirata had suit case bags full of her clothes infront of her, and Ms.Hilda shouted "why were you not up before us? You knew she was leaving today!" Ella said "I didn't know she was leaving at the crack of dawn." Ms.Hilda pushed her, and said "well don't just stand there help Kirata with her bags the carriage is here!" Ella loaded Kirata's bags on the back of a long black carriage that had light brown horses pulling it. Kirata stood infront of the door to the carriage, and Ella hugged her while saying "good luck." Kirata asked "are you sure you don't want to come with me?" Ella answered "I'm sure." Ella, and Kirata smiled at each other, and Kirata got into the carriage. The carriage took off, and Ella went back inside the house closing, and locking the door behind her. Ligia smacked Ella across the face and said "get breakfast started trash!" Ella went to the kitchen, made breakfast and put it hot and ready on the table. She called them down, and they ate the food. Tiala said "wow you finally did something right Ella!" Ligia added "yeah I think the trash has finally got it through her head that we dont mess around!" Ms.Hilda said "Ella you piece of trash we have things for you to do." Tiala said "I need new books and earrings!" Ligia shouted "and I need more chocolate and necklaces!" Ms.Hilda said "we need lace, royal blue, and silver silk fabric! We also need black high heel shoes, and shiney yellow rings!" Tiala said "make sure my earrings are purple!" Ligia added "and make sure my necklaces are green!" Ms.Hilda said "and don't forget milk, bread, and fish." Ligia shouted "and we need apple and blueberry pie and muffins!" Tiala added "and chocolate chip cookies!" Ms.Hilda said "and I want a vase full of lilys and daisies!" Ligia, and Tiala shouted "and make sure we have pendants!" Ms.Hilda said "and make sure you come home before the sun goes down because you still have chores to do, and you have to make us dinner!" Ella said "yes misses right away!" Ms.Hilda pulled her by the hair the, threw her down to the ground, and said "forget anything, and things will be worse! Now what's your name?" Ella answered "Cinderella." Ms.Hilda smiled, and said "good, good now get up and do what we said now!" Ella stood up with a small bruise on the side of her face and left for the village.
