"Long time no see, my dear younger sister."

Francheska looked at the face of that stepsister of hers. Rachel has a natural innocent face who is smiling brightly right now. In another's perspective, she looks so happy meeting Francheska again in person. Her hands were clinging to the arms of the man beside her.

The man beside Rachel, Iñigo Sanchez, has a formal smile on his face as he looked at Francheska. He looks like a real gentleman accompanying his girlfriend for dinner. Francheska's eyes lingered on Iñigo for a while before she lowered her head a little.

So what kind of bad air brought these two unsightly monsters in human skin in front of her?

Francheska knew that Rachel Tan is now also a famous personality in Finrel City. After Francheska goes abroad to pursue her dreams as an actress, Rachel also entered the entertainment world. She started as a small-time actress in the industry. But with her pretty face and innocent personality, she gathered the attention of the viewers and was given the title of 'Nation's First Crush' in the industry.

But not only she used her innocent face to have her own fame. She also shamelessly used their old connection as stepsisters. Before Sarah, Francheska's mother, divorced her father, Francheska and Rachel became stepsisters for three years. Rachel rode on Francheska's fame abroad to gather the attention of the crowd towards her.

Up until now, Francheska is not giving any comments about their past. And Rachel continuously using their connection up until now. Rachel is taking advantage of her silence to try and create more connection with her to make a name in the entertainment industry abroad just like Francheska.

"How are you, Francheska? It's been years since we last saw each other! How are you now?" Rachel chirped.

Francheska looked at the two uninvited guests in front of her. She is not showing a happy nor angry expression. That's right. It's been years since she last saw these two vermin who ruined her life.

Meeting these two made Francheska wished that she did not trust them in the past. Deep inside, she really loathed the existence of these two people in front of her. If this scenario happened three years ago, Francheska might throw her purse at them and shout to leave out of her sight. She will definitely put up a fight and waste her full energy on these two.

But everything has changed now. She is not the weak and pitiful Francheska Cruz that they have known. A lot of things have been changed these past few years. And she is not an exemption to that change.

"I heard that you recently won an award, Francheska. Why did you not tell me about it?" Rachel asked as she put a pitiful expression on her face. "We are sisters, right?"

Francheska three a quick glance towards Rachel and observed their surroundings. As expected, Rachel is trying to gather attention from the other people around them. They may be a few people eating here right now, but you will never know if one of these people is a blabbermouth who has the potential in making gossip. Rachel is using the same old tactic as usual.

"I thought that we are close!" Rachel muttered and pouted her lips. And then she moved closer to Iñigo and she held his arm a little tighter.

What a disgusting sight. How Francheska wished to pull those pouty lips of Rachel using pliers.

"Ms. Rachel Tan, what do you mean by that?" Francheska asked as she tilted her head a little. "We are close?"

"Yes! We are sisters!"

"But that was before, Ms. Rachel." Francheska said. "And besides, I can't seem to remember that we are 'that' close just like how you easily claimed it just now. Have you forgotten that we only became sisters because my father married your mother? We are actually not blood sisters, right?"

Francheska saw the smile on Rachel's face stiffened a little, but she quickly fixed it. Rachel cannot fight with Francheska in front of these people. As an actress who needs to maintain a good reputation all the time, she can only endure Francheska's humiliation and maintain her innocent image in public.

Iñigo is different from Rachel. He openly glared at Francheska for making his girlfriend a liar. He really hates Francheska for not cooperating with Rachel just now. He was about to answer her back when Francheska's phone suddenly rang. Francheska answered the call without giving another glance towards these two.

(You ungrateful girl, why did you not tell me that you will arrive in Finrel City today?)

Francheska blinked her eyes twice before letting out a soft laugh.

(And you still dare to laugh at me?)

"Sorry. I did not mean that." Francheska said.

(Hmph! Answer my question. Why didn't you tell me?)

"It is all over the news." Francheska innocently answered.

(And I am not aware of the news happening on Earth!)

"Then it is not my fault anymore." Francheska cheekily said. "I told you to watch the news every day."
