15 Chapter 15

A whole busy week had passed and Francheska finished all of her scheduled fan meetings and photoshoots on time. Today, she will visit her mother before she goes to the northern town in Finrel City next week. Director Cartel's assistant had to call Rissa and informed them of the location of the set for the movie 'Withering Red Lotus' where Francheska will act as the female lead. The assistant also informed them that they need to stay there for the whole week to finish filming the first quarter of the movie.

Francheska misses her mother very much. Since she got back in Finrel City, Francheska's schedules were already packed. Even if she wanted to visit her mother as soon as she can, Francheska cannot do it. Francheska is very professional with her work and she does not want to tarnish her reputation by just neglecting her work due to her own selfishness.

Francheska asked Rissa to give her a straight three days vacation for her. If possible, she wanted to ask for more free time, but Francheska is also aware that it is completely impossible. Now that she was already a well-known star, there are always new offers of tv projects, guestings, and photoshoots for her every day. And besides, Francheska does not want to make Rissa suffer by asking her to keep adjusting her schedule just because she wants to have a longer vacation.

Francheska did not hire any driver for her short trip. Rissa cannot go with her this time because she also has some things to do such as managing all the projects offered for Francheska and fixing her schedule for next week. Aside from Rissa who she trusted, Francheska does not let anyone be her driver or assistant that easily. Francheska does not want to trust more people after she experienced being betrayed which caused her a lot of heartaches.

Francheska drove her black car for two hours straight. The car she used for today was very low key. She does not want to use one of her luxury cars because Francheska is avoiding to stand out in the crowd. One of her difficulties as a star is being recognized by the people easily.

For her short trip today, Francheska prepared a lot of things that can hide her identities such as wigs, eyeglasses, caps, hoodies, face masks, and aviators in case of an emergency where someone might recognize her. Rissa actually wanted to come with her, but Francheska insisted that she will be fine. Her friends are also not aware of this short trip because Francheska purposely hid it from them. If they knew that Francheska will travel alone, they will surely insist to come with her until she surrenders with their pleas. She also informed Rissa not to tell her friends about her short travel to avoid any fuss from them.

Francheska finally reached her destination. She arrived in a small villa located in the eastern village. When the maids saw their mistress is coming, they quickly opened the gate for her. She carefully parked her car in the garage and gets out of the car.

The one who greeted her first is her nanny, Miranda. Francheska knew Miranda since she was a child. She can already be considered as her second mother due to her loyalty and love for her. She was one of the few people who never lets her down by betraying and hurting her just like the others.

"Nanny!" Francheska happily said.

Francheska threw her arms around Miranda's waist and gave her a squeeze. Miranda returned her hug with the same energy. It has been a long time since she last saw this young woman in her arms. Her eyes became teary in an instant as she patted Francheska's head with her left hand.

"You really have no idea how much miss you!" Miranda tearily said. Her voice was soft. "Look at you! You are now a very beautiful lady! But why are you so skinny? Are you eating on time? Are you pushing yourself too much? Ah, this child!"

"Nanny, I am definitely okay! You do not have to worry too much. I am very healthy!" reassured Francheska.

"Oh, my daughter!"

Miranda hugged Francheska once again. She never had a chance to find a husband and have a child of her own. That is why she treated Francheska as if she was her own daughter. Miranda never leaves Francheska, especially when she was at her lowest point.
