179 Q: Fractures

The 'Endless Week' was broken early. Unfortunately, it wasn't because Rafaela had managed to outperform the previous Kings, it was because Nova Corp declared war.

Rafaela watched the broadcast that showed her stepsister Doris declaring the list of contracts that would be broken, stations that would now fire upon any approaching Eks Corp Vessels, and demanding the immediate release of all SkyWater administrative leaders held captive by Eks Corp. 

It was hard to understand. Their few moments of communication since her return had been, oddly, fairly friendly. This declaration was basically the civil war that Brendan's father had kept from happening throughout his entire 52 year term.

If other top corporations supported Nova Corp in this, it would be like the worst disasters they had run simulations for. If no other corporation supported them, it would be more like a short lived temper tantrum, which might still spell out the end of Nova Corp.
