100 P: The Price

Prince Brendan watched the broadcast that announced the surprise visit that the King of Eks Corp had made to the Jade Corp Central Station, today, without letting his thoughts show on his face.

The shockingly aged figure of the head of Jade Corp, Ezra Rian, met with the King in a swirl of colorful ceremony. Both men greeted each other with smiles that showed their teeth, which flashed whitely in the bright light. The viewpoint was locked, so that the viewer couldn't zoom in on the leaders of the top two corporations in the solar system.

The Queen who stood beside him watched the screen just as expressionlessly as her son, until Regis Aldrich knelt in front of Ezra Rian. Her eyes widened, and then her gaze flashed away from the scene that was happening halfway across the Central region, to Brendan's face.
