3 Chapter 3

When the doors of the train opened, she was pushed out by the same mysterious force that had thrown her in. The system requested a moment to develop the surroundings, and she was knocked out.

When she opened her eyes again, she wondered where she was. She looked around. She was in the dungeon that the Prince had killed her in. So much for Prince Charming. She had to wonder how nobody had noticed that she was gone for weeks on end.

Using her newly acquired martial arts, she scaled the wall. Or tried to. In the heat of the moment, she forgot that though she had come back from the dead, her body was very weak, so she could not use martial arts just yet. She decided to try and exercise daily inside the cell to bring up her body strength.

Over the time that she was inside the cell, she ran every day and built up her stamina. Though a lot of the time she ended up very dizzy, she didn't give up and continued exercising.

Around two weeks later, she tried climbing up the wall again. This time she succeeded, only to find that there were bars on the windows. She cursed herself for her stupidity. Of course there would be. Who would be stupid enough to not put bars on the windows of a prison cell?

Then she had another idea. She could make them let her out themselves. She was pretty sure that soon they would come to collect her body, so if she was alive, then hopefully they would faint out of the mixture of fear and shock. But she knew that it was unlikely to happen, so she decided on a backup plan.

She looked around the small, dingy room that she was in. There was a rock not too far away. She walked towards it and picked it up.

'Hmm,' She thought. 'Not too heavy to lift, but not too light to do any damage. Perfect for the job.'

A few hours later, exactly as she had thought, a man came into her cell.

"Hi." She said to him cheerfully. "I've been wondering when you would show up."

His eyes widened.

"You... The prince... You're not supposed to be alive!"

Well. That was quick. Absolutely terrified already. I doesn't seem like he's going to try to fight me... But he's not fainting so I can still hit him anyway!

At that precise moment, she hit him with most of her strength, because she wasn't sure of how much she had, and ran.

Of course, she wouldn't of noticed if she'd given the poor guy any brain damage or anything.

When she got outside, she ran to the stables, and took her horse. Midnight was a beautiful black horse with a white star shaped mark on her head. When the sun shone on her coat, parts of it seemed a brilliant red, that gave the illusion of almost sparkling.

She had a car as well, but she knew that it was very noticeable, and it also could not go into the woods with her.

Ella mounted Midnight and rode into the woods. Before she went to the palace, she helped out the three old ladies who lived there. They used to have a girl around the same age as her who lived with them for most of her life, but found out that she was a princess and left them behind to go live with her prince. Ella hoped that she hadn't met an end alike to hers. She wouldn't wish that on anyone.

The birds flew around her and sung merrily, rejoicing that she had come back to them. She talked with them and updated them on all that had happened to her in the past two years. The birds were outraged at her treatment. They kept saying to her that they would go and peck his eyes out, but she said to them,

"Don't bother, he's not worth bloody ingredients your beaks for, and besides, what if his blood poisons you? I don't want you to have anything to do with that vile beast."

Unbeknownst to her, up in the trees, a young man was watching Ella. She intrigued him. Who was she talking to? Who was the 'vile beast' she spoke of? Who's blood could be poisonous? He jumped down silently and sprinted back to the town.
