The Beginning

TV News: "There are at least 125 high school students found passed out. The cause is unknown. Our team of experts is finding the cause of this so rest assured. All of the students are brought to the nearest hospital. They are not in critical condition but our team discovered that all of the students have something in common. They are all in a state of comatose and they still show no signs of waking up. Our team of researchers had made a serum that can force them to wake up but it is still not tested so we can't use it yet. To summarize it all, 125 students are found passed out and in a state of comatose but they are not in critical condition. That's all for today's report!

I said while washing the dishes, "Looks like the system malfunctioned, again."

I ask the system to give me another reason for today's incident. "Got something to say? Are you going to make another excuse, System?"

A blue holographic screen suddenly appears. The screen shows an emoji face. The emoji starts to talk.

The system answers, "Well today's incident is different. I have my reasons for this."

I ask again, "And what reasons are those?"

The system asks Reishi, "Remember the system rule 11?"

I answer the system, "Yeah but few only know about that rule. You have to at least reach 10k on the leader board to access the hidden rules."

The system says, "Rule 11 states that if someone is on the verge of being a chuunibyou, the system will grant the host the chuunibyou system if they will accept it. If the host declines, the system will brainwash the host so that they won't remember the system. And if they do accept, they will handle trials to obtain access to the system and if they fail, they will be in a state of comatose."

I argue, "That is just messed up. You killed a lot of innocent lives!"

The system answers, "A week from now so the host can rest assured that he only needs to take a week of beating and suffering"

I rejoice, "Finally, I can take a break after a week and I can start my retribution! Those dumbasses who bullied, insulted, and wronged me will be kneeling in front of me!"
