Heavy rain falls today like every other year in Yin Yu birthday, but the atmosphere in the dining room feels weird for Yin Yu.

For some reason, both of his parents looks depressed today. The celebratory mood was nowhere to be seen, even though it's his birthday today. Yin Yu didn't know why they're like that, but something inside him tell him that it concerns him.

Silent overwhelms the room and only the sound of servant walking around while putting dishes after dishes on the table can be heard. The food prepared today was undoubtedly delicious like every other year at Yin Yu birthday, except the year where all the dishes is fish.

After the servants put all of the dishes on the table, all of them silently withdraw from the room leaving only Yin Yu, Yin Liang, and Yin Ying which makes the atmosphere more awkward than when there's servant around.

The silent went on for a while without anyone talking and eating the food. Yin Yu want to break this silent by saying something, yet he didn't know what to say because he certainly didn't know what the problem is, which was why he stay silent too.

The silent didn't last for too long as Yin Ying suddenly stand up which gain the attention of Yin Liang and Yin Yu. Yin Ying who just stand up look at her husband and shout at him.

"I can't take this silence anymore! Say something!"

Hearing his wife words, Yin Liang gain back his composure while he looks back at Yin Yu while Yin Ying has gone back to sit like nothing happened, while Yin Liang starts to talk.

"Son, how about we practice some alchemy after we finish breakfast. I mean, we have been training you physically for these past few months, so how about you train alchemy for three months."

Yin Ying suddenly glare heavily at Yin Liang after she heard her husband words, Obviously what Yin Ying want Yin Liang to say was not the matter of alchemy but something more serious, yet she also know he didn't dare to say the words for he wants to be with his son as long as he can.

Yin Ying let out a soft sigh after a while. She understands her husband predicament as she feels that she may say the same thing as her husband if she's the one talking.

Yin Yu eyes suddenly shine after he heard his father words and excitement fill him once again as he immediately agrees and eat as fast as he can so he can go to alchemy room which he hasn't visited for a long time.

Yin Liang and Yin Ying who saw their son behavior smile a little, they look at each other, mutually nod and continue eating without saying any words.

"It's been so long since I've been here!"

Although it's only about a year since he last enters the alchemy room, Yin Yu has felt that it has already been so long since he had spent most of his time on training last year.

Looking at the alchemy room did make him nostalgic for he has spent his time here learning about animal, plant, ore, alchemy and the other while guided by his parents.

Seeing Yin Yu happy face, a reluctant expression revealed in his parents face, yet it's soon replaced with a smile while they great Yin Yu.

"How is it, son? Do you want us to show you how to do alchemy again, or do you want to try to concoct the pill immediately?"

Yin Yu who look excited calmed down a little, and then he looks at both of his parents with a great determination which he always had and say.

"Let me try!"

"Good…little Yu, summon your cauldron!"

Hearing his mother voice, Yin Yu immediately summon his cauldron while Yin Ying summons the ingredient which Yin Yu recognize after he saw it.

"Paralysis poison!"

"Why don't you try to concoct it once again?"

Yin Yu become excited after he saw the ingredients which he fails to concoct before and without any more words, Yin Yu start to purify every ingredient available while he recalls all of the advice his mom give him that day.

With a wave of his hands, ingredient after ingredient flies toward him while he tries to purify every ingredient carefully and only let go after he considers it completely purified.

Next, Yin Yu look at the cauldron and use his qi to summon cauldron fire from his cauldron for which, a blue fire emerge from the cauldron. Yin Yu didn't get surprised that the fire is blue as he has already summoned this cauldron fire and practice in controlling it ever since he has received his cauldron.

With some control, the fire starts to move while Yin Yu throw the ingredient which he has purified into the fire without any hesitation. Some ingredient needs high heat, and some need low heat, for which Yin Yu control the fire fluently and makes most of the ingredient melt and merge with each other.

Some of the ingredients which have turned into liquid was combining with other ingredients which enhance the effect of the ingredient and this process keep going for a while, where Yin Yu tried to separate the ingredient which shouldn't meet yet and combine the other ingredients with his qi.

Yin Yu face show seriousness for once as he keeps throwing ingredient after ingredient, a row of sweat can be seen falling from his head, yet he ignored it and kept throwing it until no other ingredient existed and start to focus on mixing the ingredient and then closing the lid.

Even after Yin Yu close the lid, he didn't dare to relax for he still needs to direct his qi inside to help the ingredients form into a pill shape, the time was not long and not too short for Yin Yu immediately opened the cover of the cauldron while he shouts.

"Na!" (Up!)

With a gesture, a pill arrives in front of Yin Yu which makes Yin Liang and Yin Ying who saw the pill becomes shocked.
