78 Recovery Room

None of the audience knew what just happened. They saw Lan Yiyan attack Yin Yu with her giant sword while Yin Yu shouted and formed a shield in front of him to defend against the attack. It's understandable for them to see Yin Yu get thrown by the force of Lan Yiyan's attack and pass out, but then, why would Lan Yiyan who didn't get attacked by Yin Yu pass out after the attack?

"Did she run out of energy?" One of the audience asked, while a middle-aged man who heard this question scoffed it off and replied to her "Run out of energy? Why don't you imagine that you're the one who attacks your opponent with all of your qi, are you going to pass out after your attack? The answer is no, isn't it? Even if you use all of your strength you will still retain some of your awareness, yet Lan Yiyan immediately passed out even before her attack reached her opponent, what does this imply? It means that some sort of spiritual technique has attacked her!" the middle-aged man explained; which caused many people who overheard his words to nod their heads.

Many people started to discuss the results of the battle. Some were saying that Lan Yiyan faked it, some said that Yin Yu has done the same things he did when he fought Chu Lai, and there are also many other possibilities being thrown out.

Two teachers arrived at the stage to check on Yin Yu and Lan Yiyan s condition. The teacher who checks Yin Yu can see that Yin Yu s body is now covered in burn marks and broken bones while his qi has also gone erratic . The the teacher who checks Lan Yiyan can see traces of frost on her body while her soul seems to be disturbed by something.

The teachers send voice transmissions to the referee after they have finished their examination and take both Yin Yu and Lan Yiyan to the recovery room. The referee who received the transmission turned to look at Elder Tang who's in charge of this test and exchanged some words with him before he looked at the crowd and announced.

"We have the winner for todays match! Both Lan Yiyan, and Yin Yu will become the final winner of this year freshman tournaments!" After the referee announces the result, he stops talking for a bit letting all of those people who are still discussing the battle shut up for a while before the referee talk again.

"As both winners aren't in condition to attend to the winner ceremony today, we will push back the winning and entrance ceremonies until tomorrow. For all of the parents of the new student of Myriad World School, all of you can stay at this school until morning!"

At a place not far from the tournament stages, Yin Yu and some of the other child which have passed out, are being healed by teachers; and children with a teacher guiding behind them. Examinees with light injuries will be treated by the children while examinees with heavy injuries will be treated by the teacher. The children involved in performing treatment are children who isn't much older than Yin Yu. Some of them show that they have a good experience in treating people, while others seem to be inexperienced and get yelled at a lot by the teacher guiding them when they make a minor mistake.

Yin Yu was one of those who are considered to have be heavily injured as he has suffered a lot of damage under Lan Yiyan blade which causes burn marks, broken bones and other types of injuries in his body; even so the worst of it would be his now erratic qi which is caused by his own recklessness.

Lan Yiyan might have caused the burn marks, broken bones and other injuries, but then what caused his qi to turn erratic? All of it can only be explained in the final fight between him and Lan Yiyan where Yin Yu who was being attacked by Lan Yiyan didn't have any other choice but to use his mental attack to weaken Lan Yiyan and take her inside his Yin Domain, yet because his lack of qi would prevent him from using the skill for too long, Yin Yu had to resort to breaking through in the middle of the fight to increase his qi! Typically, breaking through while fighting might not cause his qi to become unstable, even so, Yin Yu action in using Yin Domain immediately after breaking through caused the qi inside his body to become unstable, resulting in his current condition.

Time passed, and soon more and more parents arrive at the recovery area included Yin Liang and Yin Ying who look after Yin Yu for a while after the teacher finished his treatment of Yin Yu. Both of them took care of him for a while and after both of them found out that Yin Yu's ok, both of them tacitly leave him alone and turn to go back home.

"Is it alright to leave him before saying goodbye?" Yun Qian who also come to see his son ask them after he saw his brother leave even before Yin Yu wakes up, although Yun Qian isn't someone from medical field, he can clearly see that Yin Yu are going to wake up soon, yet both Yin Liang and Yin Ying start to leave after they notice that Yin Yu are going to wake up.

"It's alright…he's a big boy now, he can take care of himself now. And...seeing both of us might damage his resolve to stay here…" Yin Ying sadly says before she continues to walk out and leave the room.

"Are you going to leave with us brother?" Yin Liang asks Yun Qian and Yun Qian who heard the question smirk and replied " Yeah, I'll leave with you, I've said farewell to my son after all, and I'll not let you go before you treat my wife and me to the best restaurant in the city!" after Yun Qian says that words, both of them start to talk and laugh with each other following Yin Ying from behind and leave the recovery room.

The three of them leave the recovery room while Yun Qian who feels that Yin Yu has woken up, start to ask Yin Ying again.

"Is it really alright to lea-…"

"One more word, and I'll beat you up!"

Yun Qian got surprised when he heard Yin Ying tone yet looking at her faces, Yun Qian can only shrug and follow his brother and his sister-in-law quietly.
