85 Reality

"Why can't I be here? This is my house after all."

"Your house!?"

Yin Yu made a disbelief face when he heard her words, while Lan Yiyan's approaching the shocked Yin Yu and ask with a questioning tone "In fact, why are you doing here in my house? And how do you open the door?" Lan Yiyan starts to ponder as she looks at Yin Yu and soon as if thunder has struck its target, Lan Yiyan who look at Yin Yu begin to show shocked face and soon asked Yin Yu a question to confirm her suspicion.

"Do you by any chance live here too?"

"I...guess?" Yin Yu who heard her question say with uncertainty as he has figured out the reason both of them are here, while a look of disbelief which appears on Yin Yu face before has also appeared on Lan Yiyan face after she heard Yin Yu answer

"I-Impossible!?"

Two girls *cough* a boy and a girl can be seen sitting on the chair in the living room while drinking a hot tea which has been brewed earlier by the girl.

Both of them sip the tea once in a while before the boy opens his mouth and say. "It seems that you have some skill in brewing tea despite being so bad in cooking…"

"Hmph, that time is the first time I prepare a dish, so it's obvious that the taste of the dish will be somehow lacking, but I have brewed a tea or two with my dear mother at home before, that's why it's obvious that I'm better at brewing tea. I'm sure that I'll be able to cook much more delicious food after if I put some effort into it and make you impressed that you'll beg me to cook to taste a divine taste of the dishes I make!" Lan Yiyan replied with confidence.

"Hoooh, is that so…Well, I'm looking forward to it then…" Yin Yu say teasingly while taking a sip of the tea.

"Hmph, you better be thankful that you can taste my cooking that God can't taste even if they beg me to cook!" Lan Yiyan proudly says before she says with a low voice "Still, I never expected that both of us would live together here. Dear mother used to tell me about how we special student always gets our own house without anyone else, but it seems that it didn't work like that if it's a draw…"

"A boy and a girl get the same house unlike the other students because the result of their fight is draw, this school is truly something…" Yin Yu replied while sipping the tea.

"No…I'm sure that they will give a separate house if one of us is a boy, after all, according to the school rule book, boy and girl can't stay together in the same house as long as they're inside of the school or they will get expelled."

*Pfffft*

Yin Yu spit out his tea at her words but with his mastery over water, all of the spit he burst out immediately stop and go back to his cup before it hit Lan Yiyan face. Lan Yiyan face start to darken as she saw how Yin Yu spat out the tea water from his mouth but didn't say anything as none of those water reach her, even so, anger was apparent in her eyes as her eyes seem to say that she can't wait to turn Yin Yu into mincemeat for spraying those disgusting liquid at her.

"Wait…we can get expelled if a boy and a girl stay together in the same house!? Won't we get expelled because of that?" Yin Yu immediately ask after he saw Lan Yiyan expression, as he knows that expression more than anyone else. He has seen that expression every single time his father makes his mother mad. As it's his mother expression, which always results in his father getting decimated by his mother.

He can't help but feel some fear toward that expression, which is why Yin Yu tried to distract her with a question for her to forget her anger. But, looking at Lan Yiyan expression, Yin Yu know that he has dig his own grave as her anger didn't decrease, instead, her anger increase after he finished his word and Yin Yu can see that Lan Yiyan has prepared herself to attack him.

'Did I inherit my father ability to seek death?' Yin Yu smile wryly and close his eyes as he's the one at fault here! Who asks him to spit someone his drink just because he got surprised? And he didn't immediately apologize but initiate conversation in hope for her to forget her anger.

Yin Yu wait for a while to accept his punishment but he didn't feel anything even after several minutes of closing his eyes.

'Did she forgive me?'

Yin Yu start to get some courage after that notion entered his mind and tried to open his eyes, but the moment he opened his eyes, he immediately saw Lan Yiyan with a cold expression standing in front of him and chop his head as hard as she can.

"Ouch!"

"Hmph, Be grateful that I've forgiven you for spitting those disgusting water at me, only with a single chop." Lan Yiyan coldly says before she sits back at her chair.

"And Yu, I don't know why you persistently call yourself a boy. Maybe it's because your parents have been teaching you that you're a boy since birth, maybe it's because you are ordered to act like a boy, maybe it's because you think that being a boy is cooler than being a girl, but know this as YOU ARE A GIRL! You can't change this fact, no matter what you do and you can't become a boy just because you say that you're a boy!" Lan Yiyan angrily says while slamming the table. "You need to face reality!"

"Reality huh…?" Yin Yu stand up from his chair while carresing his head which just get chopped by Lan Yiyan and say.

"My gender can't be guessed right by assessment stone, that's reality."

"I'm a boy that looks like a girl, that's reality."

"I'm the only boy who has Pure Yin Physique, that's reality."

"I'm the only boy who born in my whole family generation from old till now, that's reality."

"And don't ever forget that I'm a boy who's more handsome than any other boy and more beautiful than any other girl, that's reality." Yin Yu say proudly.

"I'm ok with everyone viewing me as a girl, but, don't ever treat me like a girl! because I'm like a rose, I'm beautiful outside, but full of thorn which can pierce you anytime I want. It's not that I hate being a girl, but reality has told me long ago that I'll tread a life as a boy in this life, and that's how I'm going to be in this life."

"Because I'm who I am, I wouldn't become other people just because of how other view me, but I will become myself, because that makes me, me."

"So, I am a boy, that's reality."
