26 Poison and Medicine

Alchemist?

Isn't that the occupation that wants to make the legendary philosopher stone? The creator that create anything from nothing?.

Seeing the confused look on Yin Yu face, Yin Ying didn't wait for Yin Yu reply and start to explain to him.

"Alchemist is a title for the person who has some skill in alchemy. People can make a lot of things with alchemy whether it's medicine, cultivation pill, poison, physique paste, bomb and many other things.

"Then Little Yu, can you guess which one do your mom did the best at?"

Hearing his mother question, Yin Yu can't help but think.

'Based on what happened in the past, mother was good at healing someone with her qi even to the point alleviating their pain, then is it medicine?. But that's using qi and not pill so, it may be wrong.

Yin Ying which has been talking with Yin Yu start to explain the greatness of poison and medicine and of course she emphasizes poison greatness than medicine, while Yin Liang will add some word when it comes to medicine.

"Little Yu, the way of Poison isn't only a way to kill but also can be seen as a way to cure and way of medicine can be used to heal yet it can also be used to kill. Both are same yet they're different, Just like how there are Yin and Yang, sun and moon, light and darkness."

After hearing his mother question, Yin Yu start to ponder his choice.

With poison, he can poison his opponent to death while acting aloof while with the medicine he can save someone life while acting like an expert. Both options sound tempting yet he can only choose one, how can he accept that!?.

"I can't do both?"

Hearing his son word, Yin Liang shook his head in disapproval while explaining.

"People who learn more than they can, will only end up as ordinary in the future, Son didn't you want to be extraordinary?"

After Yin Yu heard his father explanation he can't help but pout a little and then continue to argue with his father.

"Who says I can't learn both!?"

"If I can learn both didn't that mean I'm extraordinary?"

Seeing his son stubbornness, even Yin Liang was lost for word and didn't know how to reply.

"Why should I give up before I try it?"

"I want to learn both! Poison and medicine! "

Seeing her speechless husband facing his son stubbornness, Yin Ying can't help but feels it funny, even so, she also knows what best for her own son, for which she tried to persuade her son with promise.

Knowing that kiddy act will gain his parent sympathy, even though he had to, for glorious future he'll sacrifice what little pride he has!.

Even his parent get touched with his act by how he wants to learn from both of them and not just one of them. Even so, Yin Ying was determined for the best of her son and steel her heart.
