112 Nothing is Perfect
"What for?" Yin Yu unconsciously blurted out that words while taking off his badge from his clothes and put it on Lan Yiyan hands.
After receiving Yin Yu badge, Lan Yiyan took off her own badge from her clothes and put it on top of Yin Yu badge. She muttered the words 'Connect' under her breath which cause both of the badges to shine for a while then turn dim again before she returns Yin Yu badge.
"Here…"
Yin Yu probe his badge as soon as he gets his badge back. Confusion is apparent on his face when he saw that there's no particular change on his badge. Unable to find any changes, Yin Yu turn to look at Lan Yiyan who is back eating her meal and asked, "What did you just do?"
"Hmph…figure it out on your own…" Lan Yiyan said while looking at Yin Yu with a gaze that looks at him as if he's a stupid person before she continues to eat her dish. Inside, she feels delighted when she saw Yin Yu stupid look when he asks her for an answer. Since he dares to act like that earlier, then she should get revenge no matter how petty the revenge is!
Yin Yu was dumbstruck when he heard her answer.
She can easily answer the question, but it seems that she didn't even want to waste a breath on him anymore as she has started to focus on her meal again. Yin Yu tried several ways to grab her attention to get his answer, but seeing how she easily ignore all of it, Yin Yu can only sigh inside and continue to eat his meal.
It didn't take long for Lan Yiyan to finish her meal as she starts to rise from her seat and ready to leave the room. Yin Yu fastened his eating pace after seeing her leaving and not long after that, Yin Yu finally finish eating his meal and ready to go too. But before he can go far, Lan Yiyan who is just about to leave look back at him and said.
"Wash the dishes."
Yin Yu stop on his track after hearing her words, looking at Lan Yiyan who has gone farther and farther from sight. Turning around, he saw all the plates and leftovers left on the table. Seeing all of that makes Yin Yu start to wonder of…when is the last time he washed the dishes again?
Since he's always at Yin Family Mansion, washing the dishes are servants job giving him no opportunity to do it. He rarely used a tool when he cooks or eats on the wild, and even if he uses one, all of his food-related tools (Which is rarely used) inside his storage ring is attached with the function to clean itself after each use render him unable to wash it himself. Thinking about it…Yin Yu start to think whether he has washed the dishes in his past life or not and after some thinking, Yin Yu reach a conclusion that…He didn't even wash the dishes in his past life!
He can't complain since Lan Yiyan is the one who cooks it. He at least needs to do his part too right?
Still, how do people normally washed the dishes again? No… the normal way wouldn't be fitting for him! If he wants to do something, he should at least use a unique method that's created by him alone!
With that in mind, Yin Yu looks at all of the dirty dishes in the table with excitement as Water qi start to gather around him. With excellent control, Yin Yu commands his qi to wash the bowl he just uses earlier and before long…
*Crack!*
…the bowl shattered in few pieces making the bowl pieces flies all over the places.
"…"
Yin Yu blankly look at the shattered bowl and the qi he controls.
Yin Yu didn't know what went wrong and started to ponder. But not long after that, he starts to direct his qi to clean the bowl Lan Yiyan use and before long…
*Crack!*
…the bowl meets the same fate as the previous bowl!
"…"
Seeing the second failure, Yin Yu start to direct his qi to one of the plates and as expected…
*Crack!*
…the plate also sadly meets the same fate as the two previous bowls.
"What's wrong?"
Yin Yu start to ponder for a while. His qi control should be good, even so, the bowls and plate got destroyed by his qi as soon as they meet, make him doubt whether he really has good control over his qi or not.
The first time it happens might be his fault, the second times might be an accident, but the third times are fact. It's a hard cold fact that tells him of his actual ability in controlling his qi.
After thinking for a while, Yin Yu realizes that he didn't really have chances to use his qi on his daily life. All he has done until now is using his qi on battle or other things such as concocting pill, but except for that, he hasn't really tried to use it that much as the only daily life thing he has used with his qi is to clean himself.
After some thoughts, Yin Yu starts to experiments things on the plate and food leftovers. Since he has already broken some plate, breaking more wouldn't really be an issue! All that might happen is for him to buy a new plate, it's also because of that line of thought that breaking sounds start to resonate on the dining room.
*Crack!* *Crack!*
Tableware after tableware starts to broke because of Yin Yu. The more he broke a tableware, the more he understands the truth beneath his qi control.
Although his qi control looks perfect from the surface, after this round of experiments, he found out that it's far from perfect. The more he experiments with it, the more flaw he finds inside it, the more he started to understand the nature of his qi.
After this rounds of washing dishes, Yin Yu feels an invisible hands slap him awake to reality.
He always thought that his qi control is perfect and that there's no flaw whatsoever in it, but this experience clearly told him that his so-called perfect qi control is full with flaw!
