23 Mental Attack

The next few days, Yin Yu was still tortured by his parents day and night. But now, unlike the last few days, it can be seen that Yin Yu eyes are more alive than before.

He has improved little by little when he's thrashed by his parent, yet there's still one thing he wouldn't change even if his parents beg him to do it!.

Seeing his father darkened eyes, he knows what his father wants to lecture again yet he may yield everything else but he'll never yield this one!.

"Son….., you have improved greatly for the last few days… yet why don't you stop spouting these ridiculous sounding names which give you away?"

"Dad…., I'll yield on everything else you say… ."

"But…, no matter what you say on this!, this is the only things I'll not yield of!."

Seeing that his father ticked off by his words again, he knew that a round of thrashing will begin soon which makes him stand in ready stance again but after a while, all his father do was sigh then turn his back on him and say.

"7 days…."

"Son, I'll give you 7 days to defeat me, if you didn't have a method to defeat me by the seventh days, forget about that shouting random things in the middle of the fight."

"As long as your sickle touch me, I'll consider it as your win"

"You're dismissed"

Yin Yu father left while giving Yin Yu no chance to reply at all, Yin Yu who's still dumbfounded soon becomes excited while shouting at his father.

"You better remember your promise dad!, I'll defeat you 7 days from now on! And not just making my sickle touch you but I'll also make you face complete defeat!"

Even though Yin Yu never defeated his father before, he still believes that he can win against his father because all these times, he has almost defeated his father in the fight.

Yin Yu knows that this almost is only given because his father wants to lure him in then beat the crap out of him, even so, he can also use that chance to defeat his father.

"It seems that I can only bet on that…."

The last few days he spent wasn't for nothing, since Yin Yu has also searched for a way to improve his deficiencies in saying his moves which didn't need to be said in battle.

Even though he also knows this deficiency, he's also didn't want to give it up!

Why?

Because saying special technique names in battle is cool! it's man romance to say it! why else would he fixated on it?.

For him, saying a special technique name in battle was already a second nature so why should he change it? What he needs right now is to make this so-called deficiency into an advantage and he has found a way for it.

The next days after Yin Yu declares his conviction, Yin Yu has gone to his house library to search for a way to complement it and after researching for a few days, he comes to learn about something called mental attack.

It can be said that mental attack works by using soul power to disrupt opponent for a while, but the requirement to use it was too high because this technique needs the user to have a powerful soul yet people can only cultivate their soul when they reach Nascent Soul which literally makes this mental attack rare.

Let say that the one using it have weaker soul than his opponent, not only will he not able to hurt his other party, the technique will also turn back to attack him which may make him bleed from all orifices if he's lucky or turns into an idiot and even die in the worse case.

Which was why only people that have a strong soul from born train this technique, while it's a forbidden technique to the others since it might not help them and instead lead them to their doom.

Yin Yu didn't found any way to use the mental energy which makes him discouraged but the next days, he found that a new technique was written on the book which he found in the trial.

Although it's not exactly fit with his needs, he's still satisfied by it and start to read it wholeheartedly day after day until this day where he finally knew how the technique works.

Basically, he just needs to direct powers from his souls and then directly lead it to his eyes to disrupt the souls of the one who saw his eyes, which he already tried it on a bird but he has got tired after 3 tries.

Even so, what he needs was to combine the soul's power with his words to make those who heard his words get disrupted for a while. Yes, this is what Yin Yu has envisioned ever since his father say that his words make his thought easy to guess.

What he needs was a way…, a way to make the word he said tremble the enemies for a few seconds. No, even one second was enough for him to get victories!.

For the next sixth days, Yin Yu start to try to create a new way to use mental attack. He has try directing his soul to his mouth rather than his eyes which resulted in failure, he has also tried configuring the technique in the other way which makes him bleed instead.

For the last sixth days, he has tried every method he knows yet all of it was only close but not perfect and it's useless. The sixth days, Yin Yu face was filled with despair. He didn't know what's wrong with the way he uses.

Why didn't the soul power want to get out through his mouth? even when his voices is out, the soul power just stays in the mouth and didn't even want to follow the voices.

He walks lifelessly in his courtyard then an earthquake happens which makes him wake up from his daydreams. The earthquake trembling voices reverberating and stop after a while but all there can be seen on Yin Yu face was a delight as if he has found the things he searches for such a long time.

"Vibration….create voices…if I just let the soul power follow the vibration out…!"

Getting a new idea from the earthquake, Yin Yu return to his room which has been filled with wide range of animals he has caught to experiment mental attack on.

There can be seen a rabbit, chicken, bird, fish, dog, cat, mouse, etc. Which has made Yin Yu room close to a zoo these last few days, while all of them let out a sound which makes the room so noisy.

"Be happy, familiars….today shall be the last days you are here which means, you shall be released soon"

"But before that…."

Soul powers start to go through Yin Yu bodies, into his mouth then collected in one place and with a word from Yin Yu, all the soul powers which never get out, burst forth like never before together with his voices.
