9 I CAN’T QUIT !

"Painful..... it's painful.....!"

Feeling his whole body hurt, Yin Yu involuntarily open his eyes and saw the dark sky, soon, he felt that his body is not hurt anymore and he get up from the ground.

Soon, he checks his body for injury and finds out all of his injuries from the earlier battle was gone like it never happen in the first place.

"Is it just an illusion?"

Yin Yu deny those thoughts quickly because he found the boar he kills was lying down dead beside him.

"So, why did I recovered so fast?"

"Is it because I've got a type of body that can recover myself? Is it because my mother stops and heals me while I'm asleep? or is it because the poison inside me can enhance regeneration?"

Yin Yu think of 3 of the possible conclusion, but soon his thoughts are interrupted by his growling stomach.

"How long have I slept!?"

Why do Yin Yu ask that question? It's because he feels so hungry that he feel like he hasn't eaten for three days straight!.

Yin Yu feel so hungry that he might faint because of it, but soon he remembers the dead boar beside him. Even so, he rejects the idea after thinking for a while.

'Eating the boar raw? How can the great me do something primitive like that!?. '

Yeah, the only way for him to eat the boar now was by eating it raw, Yin Yu haven't thought of it before, but after the idea eating it cross his mind, he figured that he didn't have anything he can use to cook it.

Yin Yu know that he can create fire using dry wood or stone by spinning? But he has only heard of it in passing, and he didn't even know the primitive way to create fire!.

His body tells him to eat yet his mind tells him otherwise. Yin Yu decided to run back to the dining table in the plains and eat the food there to recover his stamina while searching for dry wood or anything available to create fire. But soon, he realizes that the night here is too dark that he can't even see far enough.

"I can't just run aimlessly and hope to get lucky, am I?"

Soon Yin Yu can't seem to hold his hunger anymore. It's like fate has determined that he need to eat raw food today.

"No!, I'm sure it will taste like sushi!. Even people in that world can eat raw fish like a delicacy, how can I not eat this boar meat like them!"

Even though he hasn't eaten sushi before, and even though this is a boar and not a fish which is better in Yin Yu opinion. Yin Yu tried to hypnosis himself thinking that this is a delicacy to pacify his rational mind and hunger and soon he resolves himself.

'If I can't even eat this, how can I eat dragons in the future if I didn't have any fire!.'

Yin Yu grab his sickle and slice the boar stomach for its meat. When he sliced the boar with his sickle, it's only then that he realizes that it's so sharp that it can slice the boar cleanly.

Soon he took a piece of meat out of the boar stomach and ate it.

"Bloody…"

Yin Yu almost want to spit out the meat from my mouth. Even so, he knows that every food he has now is like a priceless jewel in the outside world.

Soon, Yin Yu eat the meat one by one and without him realizing he has eaten one whole boar before his hunger calms down.

For the first time in this life, Yin Yu's grateful that he's a boy and not a girl in this world.

If he's a girl, he may choose to die because of hunger now. Eating one whole boar as a girl is strange, but it's not strange if it's boy that do it since a boy has much more metabolism than a girl that's why it's much harder for a boy to get fatter than a girl.

'I better die right now than become a fatty in the future!.'

Thinking to that point, Yin Yu start to feel strange. He didn't know why, but he feels like he resent every fatty in this world like how he resents the boar. It's a strange feeling for him.

'Maybe it comes from the memories that I have forgotten?'

thinking up to that point, Yin Yu feel that he guess it right, but why though?

'Maybe because I was killed by fatty before? It can't be! Since I'm Queen of Catastrophe before how can I lose to a mere mob.'

Thinking up to that point makes him feel resentful, but he calms his mind soon to think about what he will do from now on.

After the boar incident, Yin Yu figured that he couldn't recklessly do something without thinking first.

'First, I will feel pain every hour that means I can only enter the forest for thirty minutes at most before assaulted by pains and I may not be able to rest well because of it which makes hunting that Clearwater rabbit as my primary objective for now.'

'Second, I need to learn somehow how to create fire in the meantime, which makes me need to collect ingredients that may be needed to create fire from the forest.'

'Third, It's so dark at night which means except it's not necessary, I mustn't go to any animal territory at night. Using the night as a cover to hunt food is a good idea, but with my capabilities, I've to reject that idea.'

'Fourth, I need to find a safe place to bathe!.'

'I want to go home soon! Ah, you heartless parent don't you ever feel how your child will feel after he's undergoing this trial!?'

Yin Yu get a hunch that his parents will save him if he got himself into danger that may endanger his life and take him back home, but he didn't like that idea.

Why?

It's because he still remembers what his father says before he undergoes this trial.

"I can scream, I can cry, I can regret, I can despair, but I CAN'T QUIT! Because this is my own decision! My promise! and I will never break a promise that I have made! for I am Yin Yu, The King of Catastrophe"
