102 History Class

Miss Huan left leaving that words which make most student afraid and try to remember everything she teaches, but the time to review didn't last long, as the next teacher come into the room.

It's an old man that all of the students meet before on the Student Hall, the history teacher, Teacher Shi.

Teacher Shi come into the class, introduces himself, and start to teach without any care from the student. Asking the student to flip to page this and that page of the history book they got from the library and explain it in a much more detailed way.

What he lectured this time is the History of how Myriad World School comes to be.

There are many kingdoms in this world, with many different cultures and many different thoughts. Wars is apparently unavoidable, and the worst war of all happens 500 years ago, a war that kills a lot of life, all because a strong cultivator in the upper realm promised them a chance to go to upper realm, to one true ruler and his subjects.

Every one of them obviously wants to go to the upper realms, who didn't want to?

But the war took a lot of lives, and in the end…their principal Zi, orders all of his students to go to every kingdom and sabotage it from the inside.

All of the kingdoms lose to principal Zi, and many talents who hear of his feat join his banner, and that's when Principal Zi convince all of the sects in this world to work together with him, and with that, Myriad World School turn into the only entrance for those who wish to go to the upper realm.

Many things go untold in the history lesson, but of course, it's because it's just a piece of history.

Most of the other students got bored of hearing it, but not Yin Yu.

Why?

Because his parents, unlike other have never taught him history at all!

In their mind, they say 'Why would we need to teach unrelated stuff that can easily be learned at school to their adorable son!? Spending time as a family is definitely better than that!'

While Yin Yu look at it with interest, other students, who have heard that before get bored fast, and such action trigger the ire of Teacher Shi who punish all of the students who didn't seriously listen to him.

"Do all of you know how cultivators come to be?"

After teacher Shi punished all of the students, he keeps his monotonous tone and asked all of the students that question.

"In the long past, we are all mortals…no ways to cultivate, no ways to reach immortality…"

All of the students who're not serious before turn serious as they didn't want to get punished again, but also because they're interested with what he said.

"Then why did we have a way to cultivate now? Did anyone know?"

All of the students shook their heads in tow and Teacher Shi who saw that nod and continue to explain.

"It's all originated because of a human who falls in love with a beast."

The students express their shock at that word, but teacher Shi didn't care about that and continued.

"In long, long past…human like us are less than a dog to a beast. We're like their staple food, which is eaten only if they didn't find anything to eat. But one day, a human save a little fox from a forest, but chased away by all of the other humans while protecting the fox."

"He starts to live in the forest and take care of the fox. For safety, he trained his observation skill, and that's when he saw how beasts are occasionally absorbing some stuff into their body. That is, the origin of how he found qi."

"He keeps taking care of the fox, and the fox got healthy day after day. They start to live together and fell in love not long after that. The fox turned into a beautiful human whenever she's with him, they live a happy life together, but one day, he realizes that he's getting older, yet the girl he loves always stay young."

"This situation can't last! Is what he think, and remembering that beast absorbs qi, he starts to absorb it too. Of course, he fails…he fails numerous times, but then, he finally finish and able to cultivate. As he cultivates, he becomes younger and younger again, accompanying the fox to his death."

"Until now, it's not confirmed whether he's already died, or still alive in this world. Even so, it's because of his love that all of you can learn cultivation today. Although no one knows his name, everyone still praises him as the founder, even until this day. That's also why, we, cultivator shouldn't attack beasts for fun or else the heaven will be angry at you."

Bell chime again, Teacher Shi perfectly wrap his subject on time like a professional teacher and get out from the class.

It's break time now, but the story told by Teacher Shi make all of the students forget to stand, as they have felt that they see the scene when teacher Shi tells the story! It's as if there's something magical about that story, which makes them awed.

Even so, not many of them understand hard stuff like that, as they're still children in a sense, even so, all of them knew that, the story he tells is definitely interesting, even though Teacher Shi tell it in such a monotonous tone.

Yin Yu also got back to his sense at a fast speed, but something told him that he had heard this story long long ago…even so, he can't remember any pieces of it! It's like something is blocking his minds from accessing these memories!

'Man and a beast…thinking it now would be useless huh….'

Looking at the other students leaving, Yin Yu start to leave the class too. There are enough times to go to the place he wants to go to as break times is one hour long, unlike the break times in his usual school.

With that in mind, Yin Yu walk toward his next destination.
