1 Chapter-1[I was cheated(?)]
Adam Walker had come from America to China to increase his influence and become successful at the age of 20.
After 4 years, he was able to become quite famous and have his business empire building at a good and continuous pace. He also had a girlfriend when he turned 22 and had been dating her for 2 years now.
And today was the best day for Adam as he had just signed the deal with a company that was higher, way too high ranked than his own in the capital of Qinghai Province, Xining, and wanted to share the news with his girlfriend, so, he drove straight to the hotel that he was staying with his girlfriend.
After 50 minutes, he reached the hotel, Sofitel Xining Hotel, and stopped in front of the main gate. Going out of the car, he walked to the stairs that were in front of him with a red carpet laid over it.
He threw the keys of his car to the waiter who respectfully bowed in his direction and walked inside, passing the responsibility of parking the car to the waiter.
Going inside, he walked to the elevator while the light continued to fall on him from the chandelier that was hung on the ceiling.
Many people wearing luxurious clothes walked all around the place as this hotel was one of the most famous hotels for the upper society who liked to experience luxury and comfort.
In the elevator, Adam pressed the 6th floor, and beside him in the elevator were a girl, who had a dazed look on her face, and a woman wearing a skin-tight one-piece red dress, showing her body proportions perfectly, and the last ones were a couple with a man wearing a black suit with his arm wrapped around the woman's waist.
Adam ignored all that after looking at them for a second and thought about the reaction his girlfriend would have after hearing about the news he was going to bring.
Would she be surprised?
Would she be happy?
These thoughts hovered in his mind, and a small smile appeared on his face, which the woman in red caught quite easily.
Reaching the 6th floor, the elevator stopped, and Adam walked out with the woman in red stopped too as this was the floor where she had booked her room too.
Adam soon reached in front of the door, with the number 605 written on it in gold color. While the woman stopped two rooms away from him, at the door with number 607.
Opening the door, a look of confusion appeared on his face as the door was not locked which was weird.
'Did she forget about it...or did someone come here and leave the room opened?'
The lock on the door was automatic, so if someone had opened it on purpose, only then it would remain unlocked else it would be locked on its own, which made suspicion rose in Adam's heart.
'Na, she may have forgotten to lock the door, as she had been busy preparing for her exams...'
Adam walked inside with silent steps after he dismissed his suspicion, trying his best not to make any noise as he wanted surprise his girlfriend.
The room was not a simple one, as it had a separate living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and shower room, separate from those in the rooms, a wardrobe, and a kitchen if the customers wanted to cook their own food.
It was one of the top hotels, so this much was legitimate and Adam had only booked the middle-class room as the other rooms that were more luxurious than this one needed to be pre-booked way before the actual time.
Going inside, Adam stopped in his tracks and hide behind the wall right before the way to the living room as he heard a man's voice coming from the living room.
"Baby, I already told you not to worry about anything at all."
The voice of a man, speaking in a kind tone entered Adam's ears. The tone was as though the man was talking to someone he loved deeply. But to Adam, that voice was filled with vicious nature.
He recognized that voice!
It was from his competitor!
The one who had tried to steal the deal he had just signed from him!
Why was he here?!
Ominous thoughts rose in his heart, but he tried to stay calm and walked beside the wall where the space to the living room was. The room had a corridor in the start from where customers could walk in the living room and other rooms.
Adam stared inside the room, and what he saw sent chills down to his spine...!!
He saw his girlfriend, Lilliana, someone he had been dating for 2 years and had known her from when he was studying, sitting in the lap of another man while staring at each other.
Anger rose in his heart!
Why was he here?!
Adam stared at the man, Jiang Lan, someone who had been competing with him for a long time, with anger and hatred.
But when he saw the deep blush on Lilliana's face, his heart broke.
'Why is she showing that expression to someone else?!'
Even though the answer was already in his mind, he chooses to neglect it!
He wasn't ready to accept the answer!
He loved her deeply and was even planning on thinking of proposing to her after the paperwork of his current deal was finished...but seeing her showing the expression that she had only shown him to another man broke his heart completely.
WHY?!
Tears welled up in his eyes. It was the worst experience in any man's life, to see the one they loved deeply in the arms of someone else's arms.
He wanted to go and kill the man right this instant, but would it change anything?
He was cheated...that was all that mattered.
But the love in his heart not faded...
But anger surely did and was replaced with the feeling of depression and self-loathing.
'Was I not able to make her happy?'
He walked towards the exit with a single tear leaving his eyes, and blood leaving his heart.
But what he failed to notice was the intoxicated expression on Lilliana's face, and also the smirk that the man showed.
After Adam walked out of the room, the man lifted his head with his smirk widening and soon started to laugh loudly.
"Hahahaha!"
"What a damn fool!"
Lilliana too lifted her face, looked at the man's face and lifted her head, and caressed the man's face with a loving smile on her face, but her expression was that of intoxication.
"Wha...t happen..ned, Adam?"
Her voice was quivering but clearly filled with love.
The smirk on the man's face changed into anger as he heard Adam's name coming from Lilliana's mouth but quickly hide it.
"Nothing, darling. Just got a piece of good news, that I will tell you in the morning."
'And enjoy your expression hahaha'
"Tee-Hee Don't keep secre..ts like this!!"
Lilliana smiled and started to hit the man on the chest softly.
The man grinned and just as he was about to lift Lilliana's mouth and kiss her, his phone rang, making an aggressive expression form on his face.
He was just about to enjoy the raven-haired beauty in his arms!
He placed Lilliana down on the sofa and took his phone out of his pocket and answered the call after seeing that it was his assistant.
"If you only called me to say nonsense...then I am going to make sure that you will have the resignation paper in your hand by the morning."
-N-no! Sir! I called you because the meeting you were trying to arrange had been done, and the CEO of Huamei Company had decided to meet you. But you need to visit the next city as they had arranged the meeting there! And you need to go now and arrange the hotel and everything else, I tried to but was denied as I don't have someone I could talk to, to arrange it!
The Assistant spoke in a single breath, but even though the voice was pretty rushed, it was easy to tell that it was a female.
"Adam... what ha...ppened?"
Lilliana's sweet bewitching voice came from beside the man as she stared at him with her hands over her breasts, emphasizing them.
"Nothing just got the notice that I need to leave quickly."
The man answered with happiness flashing through his eyes.
What was more important?
Having his way with someone's girlfriend whom he had drugged, or one of the deals that would make his company reach the next level?
Obviously, the Deal!
He could have as many women as he wanted but the deal was a one-time option!
"S..should I pack m...my clothes?"
Lilliana asked as she tried to stand but her legs continued to wobble.
"No, need. I will be back by the day after tomorrow, lets go on a date at that time."
The man said as he made Lilliana sit on the sofa again and place his phone on his ear.
"Came directly below the hotel, I will be waiting there."
-Yes Sir!!
The man canceled the call and stood up as he dusted his clothes and started to walk out of the room, with Lillianaa gazing at him with the same intoxicated expression and soon her eyes turned sleepy.
The man reached the ground floor and walked out of the hotel with a large smile on his face.
"I ruined Adam's mind, and got the deal, now I just need to ruin his girlfriend after coming back..."
The man muttered under his breath and reaching outside, he found his assistant, wearing a skin-tight shirt, and a skin-tight skirt. She had her hair tied in a bun with black square frame glasses over her eyes and a file of documents in her hand.
"Quickly, let's go!"
The man didn't give a second look to his assistant and directly ordered.
The woman nodded and entered the driver seat of the car that was behind her while the man sat on the back seat and drove away.
