21 Chapter 21: Say my name

The rest of the breakfast was spent in quite. Darin left halfway with anger in his eyes but the remaining people just ignored him.

When they finished Chrystalya took Reon back to the Emperors chamber. She could write the invitations from there and then spend the remaining time with her son.

There was still six days left until the crowning ceremony. She had to write a personal invitation to every important noble and figure in the empire. This also contained the envoys from other kingdooms and empires.

She went back to the room with Reon on her arms. Chrystalya sat down to the table and prepared the papers and pens and the Empress's seal and some red candle wax and envelopes.

She also gave some paper and pen to Reon so he could draw if he wants to.

Chrystalya started to do the invitations. Half and a hour later she heard a knock on the door.

"Enter." Chrystalya didn't looked up.

"My Lady the Emperor is looking for you." It was Collieron.

"I understand. Can you stay here to look out for Reon?" Chrystalya stood up and walked out but stepped at the door.

Collieron was rather anxius. He didn't knew what to do with children since he never took care of one before.

"It's okay. Reon is a good kid." She left the room with the anxius knight and went to the Main Office.

Chrystalya stoped in front of the enormous wooden door took a deep breath and knocked.

After a few seconds she heard that deep but fresh voice and entered the room.

"I'm here Your Majesty. What can I help with?" She put her hands in front of her stomach and bowed a little.

"How do you do with the invitations?" He looked up and waved at her to raise her head. Chrystalya locked gaze with him.

"I will be finished by tomorrow noon." Chrystalya gave a confident answear.

"If you wish to add names to the invitation list please do tell me so I can prepare the letters"

Alexandrien just nodded and looked back at his papers.

"Also make sure to send letters to the envoys from Kalliopheon, Secrade, Lunaris and Lavaris." Alexandrien pointed at the map next to him on the wall.

"Yes I will do that. Anythibg else Your Highness?" Chrystalya bowed a little again.

"Call me Alexandrien. I'm your husband not just a stranger. Using Your Majesty is weird." He finally looked up at Chrystalya.

"I... I can't do that Your Majesty...." Chrystalya hastly rejected this idea. She was scared of him even though she never wanted to show it so she couldn't just casually call him by his name.

"Why? You even use a nickname on the Crown Prince but you can't call me by my name?" Alexandrien just looked into her eyes questioningly.

"Thats... a different case Your Highness." Chrystalya just avoided his gaze by turning her head sideway.

"Okay. I won't force you. If you don't want to then you don't have to." He just sighed and leaned back on his chair

"But one day you will definitly going to say my name." Alexandrien's lips bloomed into a smile and his mischievus side rerurned.
