25 Chapter 21 : The Mist Forest(2) --------------------------------------------------

"Byakuya, Yuna Squad on the left has shot a red flare. Let's go to help."

"Everyone, head towards the left for backup!"

As Byakuya Squad arrived, they saw blood everywhere. Almost two-thirds of the squad were killed.

"Hurry everyone! Help them!"

"Roger!"

"Be careful, these Manwols are maniacs!"

"Ahhhh!!"

It was a small Manwol with a huge spike on a nutmeg shaped body. It pierced one of Byakuya Squad's member and the next second, it blast him together with itself as a suicidal move.

"What are these Manwols doing? Is someone commanding them to do it? There must be someone behind that's controlling them.

Listen everyone! Try to clear them with long range attacks!"

*Pant* "Byakuya, more than half of my men are down, I'll need you and your squad to clear the rest. I've already wiped half of them, I leave the rest to you. Lemme rest for a while."

"On it, Yuna. You rest for a while."

The Byakuya Squad cleared the rest but lost a few men. They weren't even able to help them because there weren't any remnants of their bodies. The blast disintegrated the whole body.

*Flare Noise* "Look! They shot a green flare. They must've found the way. Let's group up and move together."

Meanwhile, Xander Squad,

Viole was sitting alone near the bushes drinking water and having some hi-fiber crackers for energy.

*Crack* "Who's there?"

It was a boy with blue eyes. He seemed to have a driver. He had brown hair. His attire didn't match, with scratch marks over his face and hands and feet all dirty.

"Are you lost? Which squad are you from? I don't recall seeing you anywhere."

"Yuna! Help them, they've arrived. They're badly wounded!"

"Okay! I'm coming after I confirm where this boy is fr....

Where did he go?!"

"Yuna, quit slacking and help!"

The boy disappeared.

As Yuna arrived to help, she was shocked. Less than half of both Squads' members were remaining.

"What happened? Where the others?"

"Water...."

"Ahh yes, here you go."
