Chapter 1 : The Shadow Emerges .

In a street in the night a man began to run away from a black clothed figure as the man rushes around in fear as he hides in an alley way breathing heavily but unknown to him the figure was at his back as the figure raises a gun and shoots .

*Bang* echoes through out the street as the man looked at his stomach as a hole was through it coughing as he bleeds out he brings out a red gem from his pockets and throws it at the figure as a burst of flames consumes the figure the man stands up shaking as he tries to escape away from the figure as looking around he smiles not seeing the figure anymore assuming he was dead .

*Bang**Bang**Bang* Three shots echoes as the fleeing man drops down on the floor as both his legs were shot through by a bullet looking up he sees the black dressed figure as sweat and tears spill from his eyes .

"P-please Don't kill me I will give you anything you want riches and wealth don't kill me please I beg you" The Man cries out in fear and tears .

As the black clothed figure steps out of the shadow revealing himself as a man who looks in his twenties with dull grey eyes and raven black hair as the now revealed figure reloads his bullet as he points his gun at the crying man .

"What a pathetic sight I thought you Sorcerer's were all prideful where did your arrogance go to from earlier " The black clothed man says emotionlessly as he pulls his trigger killing the sorcerer instantly as his blood splashes on his face .

The black clothed man makes his gun to disappear as he pulls out his phone calling someone .

"The job is done Mercury Bathlomen is dead" The man says to a mysterious person on his phone .

" Good ... " The mysterious person states as the person hangs up the call .

Some Hours Later .....

Walking up to a strange castle like mansion the black clothed man walks in as he sees an old man with grey and wrinkled skin as the old man eyes were still closed he sat down on the coach facing the old man .

" Aaah it's nice to see you Kanashii Setsuna " The Old man says with a smile .

"Tch.." The now named man called Kanashii sneers as he looks at the man with a cold look .

" I did the job now give me the reward " Kanashii states rudely as the old man smile falters for a second as he taps his walking stick on the floor as multiple maids with the exact same face and blank eyes appear and hand over a brief case to Kanashii .

Opening it Kanashii nods his head in acceptance as he stands up from the couch and begin to leave .

" You can't go yet Kanashii " The old man says still smiling as he taps his stick on the ground making Kanashii to stop walking .

" You know that the war will soon begin sighting of the temporal rift has been seen frequently you do understand right . " The old man says .

" And why should I care this wasn't part of the contract you never said anything like this to me . " Kanashii says to the old man coldly as his hands are clench tightly.

" I know, I did that intentionally but you are a smart man you should have realized it after I had started modifying your body with my magical heritage " The old man says in amusement .

Magical Heritage were the specialized magic cultivated through out a sorcerer's lineage it was one of the things that dictated the standing of a sorcerer's position in the blackened world .

Kanashii knew it already that something was strange when the old man used his magical heritage [Flesh Crafting] on him which modified and enhanced his biological structure more than the usual so he was already expecting something like this to be talked about by the old man but that didn't mean he liked the situation .

"But enough of that now will you participate in this war " The old man says smiling as he looks expectantly at him .

"I accept but after this our contract is done and finished you here me " Kanashii says threatening the old man as he opens the door .

" Good you will be sent on a flight to England tomorrow get your equipment ready you will stay In one of our family mansion with her ' " The old man says nodding his head pleased by the turn of events .

" Oh and Kanashii " The old man says as a huge burst of Mana fills the room putting pressure as the maids fall on there knees and Kanashii stills paralyzed by the pressure .

" Never Disrespect Me !!! " The old man finishes as Kanashii nods as he walks out of the castle like mansion .

The Next Day.....

Landing in england kanashii boards out of the plane as he walks out of the airport hiring a taxi towards his destination and after more than an hour he reaches the BloodBorn Family castle as he comes out of the taxi and walks into the large castle as he sees multiple Dolls

Dolls are artificial lifeforms made through the use of the BloodBorn family 'Magical Heritage'

Due to this they do not possess souls within them and can be called meat puppets that only follow there inscribed programs .

Walking straight into the special room he looks around seeing multiple magic circle and runes on the walls and a big blue coloured circle on the floor as he also spots a doll standing at the center of the blue circle acting as the sacrifice and medium , as he then felt a huge wave of temporal energy drown the room as the circles come to life with a dark glow as he starts the ritual .

" O Great One , From The Root Of All

Thou Shalt Become Mine Own

Through Endless Battles We Shall Have

Thy Infamous Killer Who Roamed The Streets

Thou Illustrious Assassin Who Could Not Be Seen .

I Call Forth To Me Now Hear My Summon "

As the chant ended a rift appears and devour the doll at the center as darkness flows encompassing it's body it began to change form distorting and being branded as a worthy sacrifice as the light dies down .

The room looked absolutely filled with darkness as no light could be seen but a shadowy figure could be noticed by Kanashii trained and enhanced eyes as the shadow mouth opened and a voice resembling both male and female could be eared .

" Shadowed Murderer Jack The Ripper Is Here Who Shall I Kill " .
