I got up and washed my tears off . I got ready . I wore a plain white shirt with blue pants . I went outside the room and saw that only I was awake . I went into the kitchen and began cooking some egg rice .

Recipe

Step 1 of 4

Heat half the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic and white part of onion. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until starting to brown.

Step 2 of 4

Add rice and cook, stirring and breaking up rice with a wooden spoon, for 3 minutes or until heated through. Add soy and half of the kecap manis. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until rice is evenly coated. Add vegetables and cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until vegetables are heated through.

Meanwhile, add remaining oil to a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Crack eggs into pa, then cook for 2 minutes or until cooked to your liking.

Divide rice among bowls and top with egg. Drizzle with remaining kecap manis and sprinkle with green part of onion

The rice was ready !! I felt really happy for making something for my family for the first time . I used sauce to make smiling faces on them . While I was placing the bowls on table , mom came and said " I didn't know you could cook . That looks delicious . Did you make it for us ? " I replied " Yup " and was hugged her and mom said " So cute " . After sometime addy and dad came . I asked Mom not to tell them that I made them until the end . She agreed with me . All of us sat on the table and started eating . Addy said " Mom , it's so yummy . I love it . More servings for me " with sparkling eyes . I giggled and Mom patted my head . Dad said " Addy is right . Today's rice is very delicious . I love it . It is much better than other ones who have made " now , I couldn't control my laughter . I laughed and Mom pinched my cheeks . That really hurt !? I said " Mom that hurts " mom said " you know what you did to my cooking judges . You have mesmerized them with your food !! " Dad asked " Your food ? " I replied " yeah , I made it myself . Today's breakfast was by me . " Addy stood up " you made it bro . It's so delicious . You are the best " I patted her head and said " thanks , addy " dad leaned and whispered in my ears " you are better cook than you Mom " mom who heard it smacked dad head . Which was painful to even look . I said "Ugh, that looks painful !? " Dad replied " it is " mom said " You asked for it , dear " addy said " Wow mom . You are so cool and wild " with eyes that emitted respect . Mom went and patted her head and said " Look at you , just like me " I laughed and said " This is hilarious " and everyone else also started laughing ..
