1 Shameless Is A Skill

My name is Lin Feng and I'm your above average 21 year old non-graduate youth who feel out in his last year of college. I grew up a relatively good life, now before I start collecting my self for my impending doom I should probably contemplate on my life a little since it's probably the last chance I'll get. I don't when I'll hit the bottom but I'm 10000% certain I'd be a dead man based on my accurate counting and I've been falling for… long enough to be dead, I'll hit the the earth and probably splatter all over and even if I hit water I'll probably die but with a sting instead, if there's even a possibility of water even being below me!.

My Mother died at the age of 65 due heart failure, We weren't tycoon rich but still able to afford the heart transplant but unfortunately we we're just a little to late when some else got the only compatible heart left throughout the country and it would take to long to get another since her organs we're deteriorating at and abnormal rate! I was 13 years and although 8 year's don't sound long I don't remember much about her except for that she keep her beauty even through her age and the smile she gave us on her last breath, on her face one would see and feel her beautiful full smile filled with emotions full of love and kindness and some regret, I won't forget her face for as long as I Lin Feng live!

My Father recently passed away just last year at the age of 71 due to old age. I was able to get over his death rather quickly compared to my mother's probably because of my father, he changed to an odd fellow even if he was odd at the time after mom's death his random up beats and almost always optimistic behavior took most of my attention off her passing and many other things. Ever since Mom passing his change was drastic sometimes even I wandered where this man came from with my father's face but I still think that's just how he used to be before he meet my mother? After a few years I began to cultivate his personality as well and now that I look back I realized his personality could only be described as SHAMELESS!!! He was so thick skin bullets would bounce off him he is the most outstanding Idol no roale model for he embodies the very essence of being a shamelessly thick skin, though I myself can be considered his disciple for good or for bad!

My father's life lessons were vary valuable and beneficial to me especially after his death came and that's pricelessly why his death to came much much easier. Now back to the present I'm still falling down this endless like abyss!! I can't even see my hands properly even though it's literally a few centimeters away. Well guess I have nothing better to do than recount the event that's led to my demise, the government should really ban theses types of places for reckless young adults who move thoughtlessly!

( 20XX/XXX/15 8:10.am at Southeast China somewhere in a government restricted zone undergoing quarantine for a magnetic anomaly supposedly related to space-time a whole the size of a small car opened and closed just as abruptly roughly 2 miles away form the quarantine zone in which our Lin Feng is currently falling. )

At 7:56.am on a mountain, there stood a figure looking at the seemingly endless Forrest holding his mountain black backpack and hiking gear with his read sneakers and rainbows T-SHIRT, his looks appear to be above average with a hight at around 169cm. Black silk like flowing hair with his golden pupils reflecting of the sun that gives his eyes an odd but meaningful gaze.

Lin Feng mumbled "This place is rather far from what the was said in the forum, I hope it wasn't a lie or else I'd be wasting my day looking for the markings that look similar to the one on this pendent I got after finishing that test. I wonder what uses it has" Lin Feng gazed over the mountain ridge as he recalls the first time he got this jade pendent. 1 year and some months ago, in an average looking house that looks rather old school but has its own unique charm that makes it feel free and harmonius with the greenery around it. There sat an old man sat in his rocking chair reading a book seemingly unaware mundane world and the young man standing next to him, a few minutes pass before he closes the book and turns his head twords this young man infront of him.

"Boy your pops don't have much longer to live I can feel it!" said Lin Feng father Yu Feng as he stared at his son who's yet to recover from his shock.

"No need to mull over the details I'll probably have a year at most, don't look at me like that I'm not senile yet I'm letting you know so you can prepare yourself ahead of time" said You Feng as his previous carefree attitude disappeared in a flash and Lin Feng knows his father is serious aftert meeting with his gaze. He just stood there in daze for 5 minutes before coming back to reality after calming himself down even though Lin Feng wanted to question his Father as to how he knows he realizes his father would probably not tell him.

"Don't question this old man or I'll spank you or something like go collect something and I'll tell you!" only to return to hear the reply, "Collect something I didn't remember telling my son who so graciously brought his old man some mushrooms from the forest!" while keep a koi and innocent appearance that would fool any including myself sometimes. Although Lin Feng is doing his best to keep calm in this situation it's best to continue like nothing happened. "Old man was that all? Couldn't you called to tell me instead of making me come all the way here?!"

Lin Feng father replied in a rather jokingly yes serious tone " of course not, hehe it's not like you have any friends much less a girlfriend to slack off with" sigh Lin Feng father Yu Feng continue to sigh louder and louder until Lin Feng urged his father to stop otherwise Wise his half *ssed virgin confidence of looking for the right partner would crumble to bits.

"Alright alright stop it's not that I can't have one it's just that I haven't fou-"

Yu Feng interrupted him as he was about to finish his sentence seeing his sons shaky confidence dropping "found the right one, this old man knows. let's get down to business as I don't know when my time will come it's better for to inherit our family treasure, follow me."

Lin Feng look at his father with a curious gaze of a child who just found out a secret room in his house and wanted to explore throroughly because this is first time his father is mentioning something like this.

Yu Feng say his son gaze and told him with stern gaze gave a reply. "Don't look at me like that! You were supposed to inherit this years ago albeit you kept your physical training some what running even though still choose to dropped Martial arts rather ealry" Yu Feng paused for a bit then continued." This reason I'm giving this to you know is so when you have children of your own you'll be able to pass it down to them"

Lin Feng nodded his head like a person who understands perfectly despite not understand anything at all except having children to pass it down to. Yu Feng saw his son nodded and he's knew his son from years of experience when he just nods his in without asking anything his understanding of said subject is minimal and he's just trying to lower his presence so he could sneak and blend in with the crowd. Damm this brat understood Jack. "Lin Feng" Yu Feng called Lin Feng in the gentiles way possible.

Lin Feng not understanding his heavy habits have been seen through long ago by his father and just replied honestly with a." Yes Old man?"

Yu Feng lifted his head at a 45 degree angle took a deep breath hoping to be wrong only to see his son innocent jet easy to read face when he looked down once more. "You don't understand anything do you!"

Lin Feng respond startled only to realise he's been found out by his father, come to think of it Dad seems like he can read people's minds. Lin Feng thoughts got distracted about all sorts of things as later in his journey he'll look back on this day knowing this is where it began and realizing his own stupidity after a long long time.

"Nope" Lin Feng tried to keep up his innocent pretense after looking at his father face he replied in a cutesy yet straight forward voice that would make one body crawl knowing a man could make such a noise. Yu Feng just turned around and continued sighing like machine systematically without even looking back he just waved his hand at Lin Feng to follow behind. Lin Feng could only hold his held high and shamelessly follow behind his father with a look of victory for not getting reprimanded!

The 3 minutes walk felt like an hour of silence to the pair of Father and son, soon Yu Feng brought Lin Feng to a his small office on the left side of the master bedroom, after walking in Yu Feng quickly swept his eyes across the room before pressing a button which closed and covered the windows and doors with0 metal that literally came out of nowhere like some sci-fi movie. making sure everything is in place Yu Feng Walked to the front of his desk and preformed a serious of knocks and swipes across the desk and after about a minute the desk which look seemingly drilled to floor split open revealing a ladder which look quite old and Lin Feng couldn't help but cast a curious, shock and worried gaze at his Father and then at the ladder.

Yu Feng saw his son gaze and looked back at him with the utmost confidence and said ." What are you looking at!? Do you believe your Father here would endanger you?"

Lin Feng lightly shock his head to his father's words knowing he himself believed not a the came out of his father's mouth because he's a thick skinned man but still Lin Feng knew when to advance and retreat when the odds are against him, Lin Feng lied with a straight face knowing something worst would of happened had he said otherwise.

Yu Feng glanced at his son with an subtle yet evil smirk that was so quick Lin Feng couldn't notice and before he could get himself out of this mess he saw his father spew out words at breakneck speeds.

"Good good good! A smart child come and go down first and tes... I mean go down the ladder and after you do choose the path you feel is right for you and just keep at that chosen path no matter what! Listen carefully keep walking straight no matter what you hear see or feel keep walking it's for your own good or else even if I can't help you!" Lin Feng look at his father who seems to be sending his son to the grave. Lin Feng cursed in his head, damnit everything about your sentence was sketchy no way it's beyond sketchy it's just a future prediction at this point! Lin Feng couldn't help but look twords his father then the hole then his father again and noticing his father's warm smile he knew there was no was out as his father was giving a ' if you don't want to go I will throw you down look!' Lin Feng then walked forward a bit and looked down as he couldn't even see the bottom.

Lin Feng calmed his mind and took a step forward with a resolve to finish what he was supposed to do, just as he was about to take a step forward he heard his father's mumbles " Ah I hope the arrow traps and snake pits have been deactivated, it should be as Lin Feng has our family's blood in him...ah but didn't the traps active when I was younger? oh I remember this was supposed to a write of passage, my father told me about this after I got back limping in blood and holes all over! hehe boy you shouldn't have slacked off Martial arts training" said Yu Feng as he mumbled and Lin Feng could only hear his father's last sentence before he descended into the hole otherwise he would rather fight to the death with his Old man even though he knew he'd lose if he heard his father's full monologue.

Lin Feng kept going down while observing his surroundings for any obvious clues as to what's going on but as he kept going the short silence started to have a heavy burden that kept increasing the further down he went, after roughly 10 minutes of climbing down Lin Feng eyes swept across 6 different tunnels panting a little as he studied the tunnels a bit and found each tunnel had it's own number and element above starting from left to right are 6:Earth, 5:Water, 4:Wood, 3:fire, 2:Metal, 1:Void.

Lin Feng looked at the tunnels infront of him and was at a loss on which to choose, thinking for some time Lin Feng decided to go back up and and ask his old man which is the best, just has he was was about to turn around Lin Feng felt impending danger as if his days were numbered if dared rotate his body a little more. All Lin Feng knew is that there were cold eyes watching silently waiting for his choice, cold sweat came out all over Lin Fengs body as he sucked in a breath of cold air literally which help him calm down a bit. Lin Feng straighten his body once more and the pair of eyes which were starting at his body were gone, only leaving the drenched Lin Feng cursing his father in his head for not telling him about something so dangerous down here, because if he was just a bit slower in stopping his body Lin Fengs intuition told him he would of been dead!

Lin Feng began contemplating at which choice he should make as he unknowingly began to mumbled his thoughts that were in his head. "The Void sounds like something cool maybe I should go with it? Then again isn't the itself supposed to be empty? The Void sounds unique but I'm not familiar with the as supposed to the other elements, I guess I'll put the Void at the back of my head for now and focus on the known elements." Just when Lin Feng finished mumbling to himself which path he should choose.

A dazaling light emerged from the floor and all the other path ways except the Void literally formed metal from the ground to form doors blocking the entrances of the the paths except the Voids. Standing in shock for a few seconds Lin Feng was utterly stunned and dumbfounded then looking around he finally sets his sights on the Void tunnel, observing closer Lin Feng saw some dimly lited words on the grounds entrance! After looking carefully Lin Feng saw some words which made feel the worst he's ever felt in his entire life! Lin Feng calms himself down at looks at the words written in the 1 meter long 1ft tall stone tablet on the floor which is where the words are.

"In order to enter the tunnels according to the corresponding elements all you have to do is repeat it's name 3 times. Now that you've chosen, if you wish to walk on this path then repeat yes 3 times or no 3 times."

Lin Feng paused for a minute and the ultimately decided he should continue since he can't change his choice and definitely can't go back as he'll definitely suffer! Lin Feng followed what the instructions said and said his choice 3 times." Yes Yes Yes". The light on the floor lit up the entire room for a brief period and all Lin Feng could were tightly close his eyes and hope for the best, just as he closed his eyes a circular white dot the size of a grain flew into Lin Fengs body unbeknownst to him as all Lin Feng felt was immense pain throughout his entire body and mind. Although he felt like taking a step back he dared not challenge the unknown pair of eyes that swept across him but a moment ago. The best thing he could come up with was to sit in a lotus position and concrete his mind to try and cut of his brain from sending his body pain signals, although it wasn't very effective and took some time he eventually got the pain to decrease. Lin Feng just sat there motionlessly fighting to keep himself from falling unconscious!
