10 Chapter IX: Vengeful Spirit - A Queen's Rage

After Argus' defeat, creatures of the Abyss tried to escape the rift.

Presuming that Argus was dead Alice was blinded by her rage. Drived by vengeance and hatred Alice uses Light Ode once more killing hundreds of demons around her not letting a single one survive. The aggressive Alice enters the Abyss thinking that she could purify the dreaded land with the Light Ode. She thought that she can consume the Abyss. But she underestimated her situation.

As she sets foot on the forbidden land she uses all her might to create the widest and greatest Light Ode she has ever made not knowing that it would be her last. She punished thousands of demons but everything has it's limits.

Alice can't take in much more negativity and slowly gave into the darkness. She absorbed too much dark energy and  became a demon. Unable to drain more dark energy she started draining the blood of the Abysslings forgetting everything excluding her name...

Alice: Who am I?

AbyssalGod: You are Alice, my beloved queen

Alice: I'm a queen?

AbyssalGod: Yes, you are the queen of my realm and together we shall take the overworld as well.

Meanwhile,

Rafaela patiently waited for Alice to resurface but days passed and still nothing came out. Rafaela felt guilty thinking that she did nothing to help her comrades. Blaming her self for each and every day that passed she then decided to seal the massive rift. Unlike Argus and Alice, she did not let her rage to manipulate her.

With her last strength she used Holy Baptism once more partially sealing the rift.
