chapter ten

I continued to read my book as I was getting more and more bored with it. I couldn’t see her answer because my phone died last night, and I was too lazy to charge it. I came as fast as I could to see her, but she still wasn’t around. After a while, someone pulled the chair next to me. It was her, thankfully. “Why didn’t you answer my texts?” She sounded mad. “My phone died, and I was too lazy and a little scared to charge it sorry.” I said, almost mumbling. “It seemed way easier for you to tell me while I was asleep.” She touched my cheek and rubbed it with her thumb. “It was.” I kissed her hand. She smiled. “I’m so happy that you finally told me. I was starting to wonder how and when it was going to happen.”
