1 That time had come (Densi)

After a long wait, December 25th arrived.

Deeks was more nervous than usual, so much so that he had already changed four times and before leaving he forced Kensi to wear something nice, imagine how she reacted.

Obviously not good at all, but at least that day he got it right.

They passed by to congratulate and exchange gifts with the team who were still at work, but he was in a certain hurry and they couldn't even make a toast together.

"Do you trust me?" Deeks asked him, looking at her with that stupid look that was aimed only at her.

"Always," she said with conviction, raised an eyebrow as if it were a matter of course now.

She let himself be blindfolded by him and hand in hand, avoiding not tripping what damn hard thing for her with those stilts on her feet, they headed to that special place that Deeks had carefully prepared.

They hadn't walked for long, nevertheless Kensi had started to complain but when they stopped, his heart leapt.

She didn't know what all that mystery was, but something told her that her life would change soon.

Deeks spun her around, took off the blindfold, ordering her not to peek, kissed her on the cheek, and got into position.

Slowly he opened his eyes, but the amazement he read on his face was nothing compared to what he had in front of him.

She was surrounded by the magic of Christmas, in true American style, by the love that one felt for the other and by the euphoria of being there, together, despite everything.

Only after he noticed that Deeks was not at his side, he looked for him and when he noticed that he was on his knees, in the middle of a large lawn and behind a house all lit up, he knew with certainty that "that day had arrived".

"In all my life I have never found a woman who made me truly happy, who made me a better man and, I never thought of a partner for life until I met you" he said excitedly and with the heart in his throat, then he took a small remote from his pocket and squeezed it.

Behind him appeared a large writing, he still kneeling at the end with a loving look asked her: "Kensi Blye, do you want to marry me?".

As soon as the question ended, she rushed to him and, kneeling too, wore the diamond ring that he still held tightly in his hands with trembling hands.

That "yes" was whispered several times, between kisses, but when they got up, he picked her up and walked around themselves happier than ever.

Their life together was about to begin.
