2 The inevitable 2

On getting to the school company, I got down from my dad's car took my bag, file and said my goodbyes. I hasten my footstep as I walk absent minded towards the school building. I really wasn't thinking about anything in particular as I almost collided with someone who was coming out of the school long corridor. "I'm sorry" I apologize to the person. Looking up I realized it was Alicia my class rep. She smiled and said cheerful "it's fine, we nearly collided but still didn't". I smiled back at her. My relationship with girls in my school was not that great and neither is it with boys. I can count on a hand how many people I've interacted with ever since I have been in that school. I try as much as possible to avoid dramas and gossips between girls. I walked down the corridor and stop when I got to the door leading to my class. I sighed, I just hope there will be less notice and unwanted attention today because I was in no great mood for entertainment.

I pushed the door opened and walked into the class. Since class has not official began this morning, everyone were just either sitting idle, listening to music on their phone, arguing or having a silent conversation. I walk straight up to my seat at the middle row and towards the back. I sat quietly and intend going through the topic we were thought previously.

"Good morning Christiana" I heard Leonard said. I turned to look at the boy. He sits right behind me. He's one of the few people I seldomly speak with. I could remember our first encounter. That was when he got transfered to Livingston high School which is my school. He's the reserved type like me and also one of the best students. We started interacting during one of his first week when we were paired on a project. "Good morning Leonard" I replied not showing any emotions. Few minutes after the bell rang and classes commences. The first class was Geography. I really have less interest in subjects like this but I still pass then with much ease.

The rest of the day passed by with less significance. At lunch break, i brought out the lunch my mother packed up for me. I enjoy eating in silent so going to the cafeteria is a bit stressful to me. The food tasted delicious owning to the fact that my favorite dessert was there 'cheesecake'. I ate to my satisfaction and drank the mineral water I ed Leonard to help me get. Lunch break soon came to an end and that was when I had the time to give Miss Quinn the file. The day went by with speed and I thought less of my nightmare... I could even say it did not cross my mind at all.

After school , I took a bus to the nearest stop to my house and walk all the way home. I got to my house and found out that my mom's car was still pack outside like I left it this morning. 'Maybe she just got back' I thought. I walked up to the door, push it open and I was greeted my this smell...
