7 Marriage?

"Honey, we off." Getting ready to go to work, Hope waved at Honey who barked at her, seemingly saying bye while seeing Alex, Lily, and Hope off.

"Today I will be going to the sect to do something, then we can open the store," Alex said calmly while driving towards the sect. last night, his master called him, telling him to come in today. so the tournament was 6 days away, and I was already at level 9 Body Transformation.

So, upon arriving at the sect. Hope stayed in the car while I and Alex entered the sect, there I went to go see the sect leader and I saw him waiting for me.

"..." the sect leader went blank upon sensing Alex's cultivation, at his level his senses were sharp, and could tell that Alex was going to step into level 10 body transformation soon. was this not too shocking? has it even been 3 days since Alex began cultivating? One should know that with every breakthrough one would need more energy for the next breakthrough as well as more time

"Shocked?" I asked with a smile, the sect leader was quiet for a moment before shaking his head. 

"Sigh, I called you here so you can learn new techniques. also, you should pick a weapon, as well as an improvement to your gear." The sect master said calmly, to which I nodded slightly for a moment.

"I can't stay for long, my daughter is in the car," I said calmly, to which the sect master nodded slightly. with that, he had me pick a few techniques, while I gave him the helmet which he would have improved. at the same time, I told him of the weapon I wanted before he took me to see someone

"By the way, are you planning on remarrying?" the sect master asked causing me to raise an eyebrow for a moment. I thought for some time, before nodding.

"Yeah, I have no interest in dying alone," I said with a yawn, the sect master nodded his head slightly, 

"Good, you will have a new training partner... allow me to show you, my nephew," he said while opening a door, revealing the scene of a stunning native American girl who was sitting on a chair. She was beautiful, honestly the most beautiful woman I have ever seen... but the sharp glare she was throwing at me sent chills down my spine.

"what do you mean by training partner?" I asked softly, to which the sect master smiled slightly

"This is Jane Matoaka... Jane, this is Alex." the sect master said with a smile, causing my eyebrow to rise. where did he hear that last name before?

"Pocahontas?" I asked with a confused look, causing the sect master's smile to disappear, Pocahontas was a forbidden topic for them. Pocahontas had a more private name of Matoaka. She was called "Pocahontas" as a nickname, which meant "playful one," because of her frolicsome and curious nature. Her story was sad, a young girl who was brutally raped, kidnapped, and allegedly murdered.

They even mocked them by making a cartoon showing her life as a fairy tale. the Native American hatred towards those who stole their land was boundless, but they were weak to do anything.

"Sorry..." I said seeing how the air has changed, it was understandable that the two would have a bad taste about this. after all, she was kidnapped, raped, and forced to throw away her belief to switch to Christianity. She was only 15.

"No... I'm shocked you know about this." the sect leader took a deep breath, honestly if Alex was white, he would have killed him for saying that name to them. but Alex got a free pass, his father was African, and like them, they had suffered by the same people. his mother was also Japanese, and they also suffered by the same people,

"I like to learn stuff in my free time," I said softly, the sect leader nodded slightly before going quiet. everyone was quiet for some time before he took a deep breath. shaking his head, he had Alex go sit with Jane while he went on to do his own thing.

"..." Alex went on to sit down, and for a moment, both he and Jane just sat there in complete silence

"I'm not marrying you. They want me to marry you and take your seed, out of hope for our child to have strength to help them in their plans to defeat our enemies." Jane said calmly, causing me to raise an eyebrow.

"I never got on my knees to ask you to marry me," I said calmly, causing Jane to go speechless. She looked at me with a speechless look for a moment before she laughed slightly while nodding her head.

"Good. I already have a plan, I will act like we're dating. but in truth, you date whoever you want, and I will focus on my growth." Jane said while holding out her hand for a handshake,

"what do you mean by growth? will your uncle kill me if he thinks i'm cheating?" I asked while looking at her hand and back at her, which annoyed her.

"Cultivation... us natives all united to form one large clan. Amonute, the one you call Pocahontas is a distant relative of mine. She is just one of the people who suffered at the hands of those European colonizers. they came and took my people's land, I have no interest in marriage. it would only slow my growth down. I will lead my people on a blood bath, I will make those sons of bitches suffer for every second we suffered." She said while her killing intent filled the air, leaving the air to be covered in a dense smell of blood.

"How? With America's deep roots, and how they have connections everywhere... how are your people going to face the world's strongest power?" I asked calmly, causing Jane to frown deeply.

"You lack the manpower, resources, and connection to do this. there are 3 ways I could see you possibly turning your dream into reality. the first is your clan trying to gain their trust, get them to lower your guard, and use them to empower yourself, before backstabbing them as they did. although this holds the risk of them trying to erase future trouble." I said calmly

"Second, ally against their worst enemies. I'm sure China would be more than happy to see their downfall. but then again, they might just up and destroy you. the best way to deal with this is simple. let them use you, while you use them. Have the two titans fight, and watch as others watch the titans clash before stepping in to get a piece of the cake. cause mass chaos, before you step in at the right moment to take everything and flee. hide for a few years, cultivate, and return with power to take everything back." I said causing Jane's eyebrow to raise.

"... what's the last one?" Jane asked seeing how Alex didn't continue speaking. I thought for a moment, before speaking.

"well, the 3rd one is mixed with all types of stuff. you can send a talent like myself into their stronghold since my true appearance is hidden they would not be on guard. but I have no interest in playing the role of a spy... second, your uncle's plans. I don't want to show off, but I am a genius. but I have no interest in forcing something." I said calmly while getting up to leave

"wait... spar with me." She said to which I shrugged slightly. so we headed to the gym. She sized me up for a moment before speaking

"I will lower my cultivation to that of yours," She said calmly, to which I nodded slightly. She was at level 10 Qi gathering. So, she stepped forward after suppressing her Qi to that of a level 9 Body transformation realm cultivator. after which, she stepped forward

"I heard you can defeat wild beast levels above you... I don't believe it." She said before disappearing. with a flash, she appeared at my side, leaving me in shock. why? because her speed was above the Body transformation realm, had stepped into the Qi gathering realm. even with her strength sealed, she was that powerful?

Jane's leg shot toward my head, but at the last moment, my arm moved, blocking the kick with my arm. the power behind that kick was fully blocked, leaving Jane shocked. She stepped back, sizing me up and down with a stunned look.

while at level 7, I believe I could defeat that dog that was at level 1 Qi gathering. now I was at the level 9 Body transformation realm. that dog I believed I could defeat had strength that could face the average level 2 Qi gathering realm experts. I was now at level 9 body transformation, my strength should be at level 3 Qi gathering realm, and touching upon the power at level 4 Qi gathering realm

Jane flashed, attacking me. but she only had strength at level 1 Qi gathering, leaving her weak against me. I was enhancing my overall capability with my Qi, adding my perfect Qi control, I was strengthening myself to such great heights that all of her attacks couldn't break through my Qi barrier, which was covering my skin like a thin cloth. this is because I was using Qi to enhance myself down to the cellular level.

"Impressive," Jane said while looking at me in shock, 

"Well, I should get going. My daughter is in the car." I said calmly, causing Jane's eyebrow to raise, she couldn't help but frown

"You're married?" Jane asked, this wasn't the time of old when one could marry more than one person. those of this era would not so easily accept a harem.

"It's complex, ask your uncle," I said with a sigh, before leaving. outside, I went to enter the car where Hope had been waiting quietly while using my phone, I wasn't so cruel to leave her without anything to help kill time

"Let's stop by the store to buy a few things," I said calmly, to which Hope nodded slightly. So, we drove off, all while the sect leader watched my car drive off through his window

"You didn't tell me he was married," Jane said with a displeased look while looking at her uncle, who just shrugged at her words.

"Why do you care? Didn't you just say you would act like you would marry him?" The sect master asked with crossed arms, making Jane freeze slightly

"you were listening in? You creep." Jane said with an annoyed look, with a laugh the sect master took a seat and went on to give Jane the information on Alex's marriage. Jane went through the paper, her eyebrow raising slightly

"If you two don't want to marry it's all cool, my daughter can take your place." The sect master said making Jane glared at him slightly. but she frowned, after seeing Alex's ability, she wasn't against the thought of marrying Alex.

"What Alex said is true, we don't have the manpower or resources to go to war. we are far from regaining our lands" He said with a deep sigh,

"This is also information on Alex... you can see why we want his offspring to be born into our clan. your father knows that it is best you give birth to the child, that way the child can both have the talent and the bloodline." He said while giving another paper to Jane. Jane went through the paper and her eyebrow raised for some time.

"Really? But this makes no sense, how is he able to cultivate?" Jane asked in shock, to which the sect master smiled

"most likely a mutation. I have seen the other one, the both of them are abnormal. if this mutation is true, isn't it best to have their bloodline?" He asked making Jane go quiet for some time,

"Okay. but he isn't allowed to have a harem. he has to leave her." Jane said with crossed arms, leaving the sect master frown slightly. this might be troublesome. in the time to come, harems would become a normal thing. males would have a harem of females or males, or even mixed. females would also have harems, be it full of females, males, or even mixed. this is all going to be normal things. those in power can have a harem.

"Remember, he has to agree to this. I will not force my disciple." the sect master said, making Jane's eyes narrow as she understood the underlying meaning. If Alex says no because he wanted a harem then the marriage would be off if she doesn't take a step back.

To this Jane snorted, she was beautiful. She was sure Alex would be more than happy to just have her, she was that prideful...

"So, what might I get for you?" Alex who was cooking, looked up only to freeze seeing a beautiful woman standing in front of him with sunglasses. everyone within the store was also eyeing her, unable to look away after seeing someone so beautiful. She was like a supermodel, no she was a step above supermodels. no makeup was needed all natural beauty... this was none other than Jane.

"Give me the best thing here," Jane said with a smile, but I didn't move to get her what she wanted and simply gave her a questioning look. seeing this, Jane rolled her eyes and explained. 

"I will be staying with you since we will soon get married." She said causing Hope who was amazed to see the beauty snap back to reality. 

"No, Daddy is..." Hope wanted to speak but went quiet remembering her mother. She opened and closed her mouth, not knowing what to say. all she wanted was for her father and mother to make up, yes she knew the impact of her mother's actions... but still, this was her family. was she wrong for wanting her family back together?

"Not around her," I said in a low voice, Jane was stunned for a second. but she nodded understanding what was happening. She took a deep breath before going on to order her food and leaving. with her leaving, I looked towards Hope who returned to work with a downcast look.

"Go take a break," I said calmly, to which Hope nodded weakly and went to sit down. Hope wanted her old life back, but that would never happen. I couldn't see Sarah the same way as in the past, the woman I loved had long died.

After closing the store for the day, we got into the car and headed towards the sect to get Lily, along the way, I was going to speak, but Hope cut me off.

"I know, you are getting a divorce, mommy asked for it... I know." She said weakly, making me sigh for some time. My annoyance had disappeared, although bits of it remained. the car ride to the sect was quiet, once Lily entered the car, she was too annoyed to say a thing and just sat back to go to sleep.

Upon returning home. we were greeted by Honey. greeting her back, Lily went to sleep right away, too tired from a long day at that sect. I didn't bother her and simply made food to eat.

"are you going to remarry so soon?" Hope asked causing me to freeze, and look towards her with a raised eyebrow.

"I mean, maybe you should take some time to rest. you just met her, go on a few dates, read her out." She said making me sigh softly. She wanted to buy time to find a way she could fix things between me and her mother.

"At most, friends. thats the only relationship I can see myself having with your mother. And even then, you would be the piece of the puzzle that would allow that to happen. that woman you saw today is Jane, she is the nephew of the sect master." I said stunning Hope. She wasn't shocked by Jane's background, but by the fact I was going to marry Jane.

In Hope's eyes, was Alex's actions not a mirror of Sarah's actions to sell herself? the only difference is that Sarah did it all while still being married to Alex. Alex was at least getting a divorce 

"It's different. for one, I'm not planning on just marrying anyone. I'm giving her a chance," I said calmly, 

"... she said she would be staying here since you two would be getting married soon. the words of speech, your reactions. it all shows you have spoken of marriage before. her speech pattern, and your reactions. I'm guessing you two just met today, and this is some kind of agreement, but you're not a cultivator, why would she want to marry you? What offer are you giving to her?" Hope said in worry. she had already seen her mother do something stupid, she was unwilling to play along this time.

"She likes my cooking, so she wants to marry me. so I'm giving her a chance." I said while returning to my cooking.

"Don't lie to me... don't try and trick me too. you're avoiding eye contact, and you trying to hide the signs of lying by returning to cooking. when would she have had your cooking? you didn't refuse my words, so it was clear this was the first time you met her. when could she have eaten your food? today? when you entered the car, you didn't smell like it." Hope said with tears in her eyes, Alex's face twisted in annoyance. She decided now to grow a brain.

How was I going to tell her the truth? Oh, daughter, your father is looking into the far future. world domination. He fucking hates this cultivation and is planning on conquering everything, and returning peace to our world. Oh daughter, a harem is going to be the quickest way to do this. since clans would marry off their offspring to build connections, I would use it to my advantage.

I will destroy all of the clans and powers, in my eyes they were the ones who destroyed my perfect life. I shall uproot them... although I didn't know if I could be ruthless enough to slaughter a whole clan. I didn't know if I could kill a human. a wild beast was different as my father had taken me fishing growing up. I was used to killing fish, and I saw Wild Beast as the same...

"Woof?" Honey licked Hope's cheeks, removing her tears. Hope looked at Honey for a moment, before quickly calming herself down.

"Go get ready to eat. I promise I thought everything through, even if things go bad. I thought of ways around it." I said softly, Hope just nodded. but she had learned to never trust grown-ups so easily, sometimes even they do stupid things.

"Can a Cultivate?" She asked, if she could cultivate, she would at least fix her parent's mistake, or protect them. She was also worried for her mother, she didn't know where she disappeared off to.

"..." At her words, Alex went quiet. Hope talent wasn't simple. her talent was still growing and should stop developing when she was around 12 years old or so. It's almost like her talent was evolving thanks to Qi, but it wasn't an endless evolution. but this had to mean she had one of those unique physique,

"I will see," I said calmly, before pulling out my phone and searching up the physique log. there I searched for physiques that were similar to what I sensed with Hope.

"Yin Yang Twin Physique, a physique found in twins. Not this ... Stellar Dragon Physique is a physique mostly found in males. allows one to bath in stars to improve talent. not that one..." I went through countless physiques before I came across one

"Special Yin Physique. a rare physique that only appears in females. those with this physique find themselves starting with talent at zero. they are born with unique minds that allow them to be able to remember everything they wish to remember. when growing, the more they know, the higher their talent shall become. this physique converts knowledge into talent, its best one reaches the nascent soul realm before this talent growth period comes to an end. once one comprehends a law, the knowledge it would give them would be enough to allow their talent to reach the peak of talent depending on how much of a law they have comprehended." My eyes narrowed while reading this to myself, I turned to look at Hope who was giving Honey and Sunny water to drink

'Do I also have a special physique?' I thought remember how I could recall just about anything, but I shook my head remembering how I had zero talent for cultivation.
