14 Like Old Times

It was Day 3, and only 32 people remained. So far, an event like the fight between Zero and Witch Queen has not been held. to have two capable people fight like that so easily wasn't good, instead, they were having each talent have their match before they fought within the finals.

but with 32 people remaining, those more talented would have to fight among each other. Sadly, although Zero was considered powerful, everyone was under the impression he was not at level 10 Qi gathering realm. so he had to be the first person to fall.

They were even showing the matches to come for the following remaining 4 days. Zero was up first today to fight the Dragon Son. if he were to win, he would be fighting one of the Vampire twins tomorrow.

"So, what technique did you use on me to break my badge." The Dragon Son asked while standing opposite to me. ever since the Dragon Son was defeated by Zero, he had been unable to rest, trying to figure out what he missed. he was the son of the Dragon Emperor and had blood dragon blood flowing through him.

Long ago, before the dragons went to sleep. they had left behind a drop of their blood. the Dragon Emperor absorbed that blood 24 years ago, giving him the fire dragon bloodline. although it wasn't pure due to the passage of time, it allowed him to be far stronger than normal humans of the same level. plus, his ancestors used to have dragon blood running through them. absorbing the dragon blood awakened a bit of those dormant genes

"I'm talented... thats all," I said calmly, making the dragon son sneer slightly. holding out his fist, he began hopping up and down like a boxer. As soon as the match began, he began punching the air non-stop. at high speed, a fire dragon snaked from his hands and shot forward to surround me.

"This is known as the dragon fist," the Dragon Son said with a snort, watching how Zero just stood there looking at the 10 dragons surrounding him.

"yeah, but what's the point of using a technique thats sucking you dry? this skill isn't for those of your cultivation level." I said calmly, causing the Dragon Son's eyes to narrow slightly as I was right. this used up 20% of his energy, and a small amount was being used to control it. but he didn't mind. he was showing off before the weak.

"What the point, there is no way you could defeat me." the dragon Son said with a sneer, to which I just shook my head.

"Nothing is absolute. even a lion would go all out to kill a rabbit, a 100% is impossible." I said calmly before my body exploded with a huge lightning aura which sent the dragons flying back. the dragon son who was caught off guard quickly controlled the dragons to turn and shoot towards Zero, but he froze when he saw Zero floating off the ground, with lightning connecting him to the ground

"by turning the ground into a positive, and myself into a positive. you can mimic a magnet... you would be like those trains that use magnets. you want to know why they use magnets?" I asked softly, to which the dragon Son suddenly had a bad feeling. he quickly ordered the dragons to attack Zero, just for Zero to disappear. shockingly, Zero Speed was about to touch upon that of level 2 Core formation. this speed was already at Mach 0.5, or in other words, he was at 50% the speed of sound.

the dragon son canceled out the dragons he had created, Zero was right, this skill was for those above his cultivation, which would lead to him having a harder time controlling it. instead, he shot forward to meet with Zero.

Zero pulled out a rapier from his storage ring. this rapier glowed with some runes, and with this sword in his hands, Zero's speed suddenly increased. what happened you might ask? this is what happens when one has equipped a weapon. you would be empowered, but the boost of power has its limitations. it didn't multiply your strength but instead had a sad amount of power it could add to your power. this meant if you were not capable of handling that power, you would slowly die.

Zero and The Dragon Son clashed, creating a huge explosion on the point of impact. the ground below them was swallowed in the aftermath of their clash, creating a crater. The Dragon Son was sent stepping backward, with his body feeling numb. meanwhile, Zero had taken 9 steps back.

'he is infusing lightning into his sword, every clash will numb me, leaving me weak with every clash. he has the Heavenly Thunder Physique, so he would outlast me in prolonged fights. I have to end this quickly.' The Dragon Son thought while shooting forward, Zero also did the same, but before their clash, Zero was suddenly shot into the sky. he had strengthened the magnetic repelling force between himself and the ground, and at the same time, iron shot into the sky.

"My hope of winning is by drawing out this battle, I plan to do just that." Zero said while landing on a huge Iron Giant hand. the crowd was shocked at the sight. they were even more shocked when they saw The Dragon Son open his mouth, before shooting out a fire dragon breath.

Like a beam, the fire dragon's breath shot toward the Iron, yet the iron giant body broke apart, making way for the dragon's breath to pass through. Zero waved his hand, overcharging those parts with lightning causing it to burn up, while making the Iron Giant look smaller.

The Dragon Son who saw his attack had such an effect smirked. Zero waved his hand, causing the hand he stood upon to float off the iron dragon, from the sky, he held out his hand while shooting lightning onto the dragon son. the dragon son flashed around, dodging the lightning, before he opened his mouth, a huge flame breath swallowed the sky, giving Zero nowhere to fly to and escape, and as expected, Zero fell, the iron he floated upon melted

"This ends here." the Dragon Son said while feeling his throat which was burnt from his action just now.

"Do you watch anime?" Zero said calmly while looking at his sword which had melted, but with some lightning, the sword was fixed, although the power boost it gave him dropped.

"Why does that matter?" The Dragon Son asked while walking towards Zero, Zero was quiet for a moment, before shrugging. He looked at the ground and saw how The Dragon Son had infused Qi into it, making sure Zero couldn't even use lightning to use that magnet-like effect he was using to move.

"It's nothing, I just found that my self-created techniques have a huge amount of weaknesses... So, I will just return to the core teaching Of the Grand Thunder Sect." Zero said while lightning began to be infused down to his very blood. No Lightning aura this time, only a flash of lightning could be seen on his body, before they gathered to his back to form lightning wings

"The Thunderbird mode." the Dragon Son said with narrowed eyes, with a flap of his wings, Zero created thunder, while at the same time, he disappeared. The Dragon Son and Zero clashed, creating a huge shock wave that forced a barrier to appear to protect the crowd.

the crowd heads moved all over the place, trying their best to follow the battle, but it was too fast, instead, they had to look toward the scene in the sky which showed everything happening in slow motion, enough for them to see.

they were stunned seeing that the dragon Son had a huge heavy sword, they were even more shocked that even with it, he was not only keeping up with Zero but was pushing Zero onto the defense.

Zero was sent flying back, with cracks appearing on his mask. The Dragon Son smirked slightly while resting the heavy sword on his shoulder. it was a huge red sword, yet he was carrying it around like it was nothing. 

"Now... I want to see the face behind that mask." The Dragon Son said with a smile, but he was caught off the ground with Zero standing up, and turning to walk away. a scene that confused everyone.

"Zero, are you admitting defeat?" the elder watching over the battle asked, to which Zero just shook his head.

"I already won." Zero said cooly, confusing everyone. but it was then they heard the sound of thunder coming from the sky. everyone looked up and saw thunderclouds had gathered, with lightning flashing around nonstop. Zero stopped to look back at the Dragon Son.

"When I asked if you watched Anime... I just wanted to see if you knew how you were going to lose." Zero said while the dragon son's pupils shrank seeing a huge lightning dragon poking its head out of the sky.

"Don't die... even I can't control this. So I will be the first to leave." I said calmly while walking off, the Dragon Son looked to me for a split second and back at the sky. the dragon let out a roar of thunder before shooting towards him at the speed of lightning. which was March 364, luckily for him, the dragon was caught in the hands of a red-haired man.

"..." Zero turned back to look at the red-haired man, who was the Dragon Emperor, a nascent soul realm expert. In his palm, the lightning dragon moved around, but it was sealed.

"Impressive... your mastery of lightning is like nothing I have seen before. might I know the name of this technique?" He asked with a smile,

"Kirin." Zero said calmly, to which the Dragon emperor nodded slightly

"A good name..." He said before disappearing, The Dragon Son let out an annoyed sigh. he didn't need anyone to tell him he had lost. he looked towards Zero, before speaking.

"When did you cast that technique?" He asked to which Zero calmly spoke while walking off.

"I flew in the sky wanting you to launch your fire-type attacks into the sky. when you let out that huge fire breath, I fused your flames with my lightning, allowing them to summon the thunderclouds faster. All I had to do from there is buy time." I said calmly while disappearing.

With that, Zero was the winner. although some time was needed to fix the ground that was damaged from their clashes. giving everyone time to go and get something to eat.

"Are you not showing off a bit too much of your skills? at level 9 Qi gathering, you're already making it clear you are stronger than them if you were at the same level." Jane who was walking with Zero said with a frown, 

"Naw, to everyone else eyes, i'm using tricks to win. although I was clashing with The Dragon Son, I did it while making sure my body didn't absorb too many blows. in everyone's eyes, I should have speed, brains, and creativity. No one knows I could have defeated him before he could blink." I said calmly while stopping as a little boy walked up to me with a paper and pencil, 

"Mr Zero, can I please have your autograph." A kid asked to which I nodded slightly while taking the paper and pencil. I looked at the paper which had a picture of myself and wrote my name along with the kid's name.

"Thank you. I thought it was super cool how you used Sasuke's move like you did. I'm your biggest fan." the kid said to which I just laughed while saying goodbye

"is it like that all the time?" I asked softly, to which Jane nodded, slightly annoyed the brat didn't ask for her autograph, she was also fighting. she could have defeated anyone there. She was sure to win,

"You always disappear, so you never stay around to see this... anyways, do you know the ability Queen Witch used to absorb attacks without taking a single injury?" Jane asked, to which I just nodded slightly

All the damage Queen Witch would have taken was given to something or someone else. it's a witch technique, but She also has a limit to how much damage that could be transferred. this is why she was so weak when she took Jane's attack. at the same time, there was a limited amount of damage a person could take and at the same time how many people could be affected by this technique. Because of this, I was able to break through this technique with my attacks.

"How is it that witches have so many unique abilities compared to others?" I asked calmly, I had of course copied and mastered that technique far back when we were in another dimension. 

"You don't know? Witches have the unique talent to tap into the knowledge of the heavens, this is said to be something only the gods should do. which is why gods are considered all-knowing. but witches can tap into Heaven's knowledge, allowing them to see into the future, read a person's fate, and so on. but they are not only limited to that, as they can channel the rules of the universe, allowing them to make dolls that could hurt people across the planet and other crazy stuff." She said making my eyebrow raise

"This is why they were hunted down, Witches were drawing knowledge from the heavens when it was already weakened. it was only going to increase the time for Qi to return. so they were killed, since females are the most capable for the path of being witches... well, they couldn't read and right for some time. knowledge is a key point in becoming a witch. I'm not trying to justify it, both sides were wrong. males used it to take advantage of women, and women were slowly killing the heavens." She said, leaving me quiet for some time. it seems like there were two sides to every coin.

"... do you know who she is?" Jane asked, to which Zero just nodded slightly. Jane was talking about the Queen Witch.

"She is my sister... speaking of the devil," I said softly, as someone hugged me from behind while pressing her breast against my back.

"That was such a cool match, well, it was mostly thanks to me. without me giving you the knowledge needed what would have happened?" The Queen Witch asked, She was the one who showed her brother the world of anime. honestly, he should be thanking her with a few kisses.

"... oh, whose this? Jane, the girl who wanted to have my brother join her harem? If anything, my brother should have a harem." The Queen Wich said, annoyed seeing Jane with her brother,

"The Strong and capable should of course have a harem, the last time I checked. didn't I send you running?" Jane asked with a sneer, annoying The Queen Witch.

"I was simply caught off guard, do you think the same trick would work on me twice? plus, I should have still defeated you. I just retreated to avoid others dropping in." The Queen Witch said with a sneer, 

Indeed, The Queen Witch could have won. her eyes were broken, The Heavenly Pupils Of Fate were broken. they allowed her to even control the fate of others to some degree. The Queen Witch could have won, but then again, she also had to hide the fact she had the number one ranked pupils.

"Plus... the fact you don't see the greatness of my brother just shows you will never be worthy of joining his Harem." The Queen Witch said while pulling me off, leaving Jane standing there with an enraged look.

"What do you want?" I asked with a sigh seeing how she was taking me outside, ignoring everyone who was looking at them.

"Simple, I want you to see me log in." She said with a smile, causing me to pause for a second, before following her. Her system rewarded her for logging in every month, just on her first log-in, she got herself the number one rank pupil. her system was broken. we quickly headed off, disappearing into a hotel she had booked. after making sure no one was watching, she removed her mask, while I did the same

"By the way, can I know your 4 abilities? pretty please? You hurt me, and all you had to say for it is sorry." She said softly, to which I stepped back. I knew it was a bad idea to enter this hotel with her. She wanted to corner me

"Pretty Please..." Alice said while taking my hands, looking deeply at me with puppy eyes. My heart melted... my beautiful adorable sister, how could I say no to this pure, innocent soul?

"Fine, but only one of them," I said while letting out a deep sigh, making Alice pout cutely. Oh god, she was cute...

"Okay, 2. when you have 4 things I will tell you the rest," I said, depressed at how weak I was. at this, Alice jumped at me while giving me a deep kiss on the cheek.

"Okay, let me see the first thing." She said with bright eyes, unable to wait to see the first thing I got. I sighed softly while pulling out Incursio.

"This is Incursio? I forgot what it can do... don't tell me, I will remember." She said, trying her best to pull out knowledge from her brain. out of fear she would hurt herself, I spoke.

"adapt and evolve," I said calmly, making her glare at me. to which I just put the sword back into my soul.

"thats what I was going to say." She said to which I just rolled my eyes. She is the type who enters the bathroom and forgets why she went in. I could never understand this, it was not only the bathroom. She would enter rooms and forget just why she entered them. She had mental problems, so I had to look after her. I could never understand how she could put a remote down and forget what happened... my poor sister

"Okay, Login," Alice said while looking at a screen only she could see. after a moment, her eyes widened in shock.

"The Monkey King Body Art," Alice said while going through this cultivation art she just got, before telling it to me. Pretty much, this cultivation art would allow her to cultivate the Monkey King's body, giving her the power to transform into anything and an extra life for each one of those transformations, the power to transform her hair into anything she could want, from clones to weapons. she would even have the Monkey King's eyes, although not as powerful as the Heavenly Pupils, they were still powerful.

"Ha, overpowered," I said with a slight nod, indeed that was a powerful cultivation art... stronger than anything he had seen others cultivate. maybe some cultivation arts were lost, and her system was able to get those lost cultivation arts.

"my second is... which one," I said thinking of what I should say. [Endless Nine] [The End] [The Almighty]. I thought for some time, before picking one.

"The power to copy and master anything without any notable limitation. It is called the End." I said calmly, leaving Alice frozen for a second, before looking back at me. She frowned deeply at me for some time before thinking of something.

"Can you copy my Heavenly Eye?" She asked, to which I shrugged slightly.

"I don't know, you have to show me an ability first," I said calmly, to which Alice quickly stepped back. Under my confused looks, she had her clothes explode. but they were exploding in slow motion. her golden pupils glowed slightly before she reached forward, taking holding a string that only she could see... well, now I could see it. the string was connected to me. it took a second, but the next moment, my clothing exploded, while Alice's clothing returned to normal, as if they never exploded in the first place.

"Fate Reversal, for some this small. I will not go blind." She said while breathing heavily, something this small took a lot of Qi. but it was worth it... wait, when was her brother so big?

"My eyes are up here," I said calmly, causing Alice to roll her eyes. They had seen each other naked so many times, what was the problem now?

"SO, did you copy it?" She asked while walking up to me, looking me deeply in the eyes. where she found my once brown eyes had turned slightly blue. a weird transformation when her pupils were golden.

"Why are your pupils slightly blue now?" She asked calmly, to which I just shook my head.

"my cultivation art... thanks to you, I almost broke through to level 1 core formations. the heavenly pupils are something." I said calmly, leaving her stunned for some time before she hugged me.

"thats great, with us working together, we are sure to defeat anything that comes our way." She said with a smile, before kissing me on the cheek, forcing me to push her head away.

"nothing dirty... I just want to sleep with you like old times." She said softly, causing me to frown slightly. I would be lying if I said the nights where we slept apart weren't sleepless nights for me, but since I grew up stressed out, I was always too tired, and I would be knocked out after some time. this disappeared when I began sharing the bed with Sarah. although she wasn't the same as Alice...
