Break Through

"I will not hold back... winner joins the other harems," Jane said while standing before Zero, who just shrugged. At Jane's words, everyone's eyebrow raised, surprised by what they were just hearing.

"Start." the elder said and at his words, Janes shot forward, but Zero was suddenly repelled into the air. he was sky high, and from his body, lightning began raining, hitting the ground both inside and outside the stadium. Jane wasted no time and called forth her power into her palm, but she froze... not only her, everyone froze.

Storm clouds quickly gathered, while Zero slowly fell. He had used himself to draw the storm clouds here, leading to the storm clouds being drawn over at a high rate. but when could see this had used up a lot of energy.

"I surrender," Jane said seeing how 2 lightning dragons popped their heads out, glaring at her. her shoulders dropped, but she cheered herself up. Zero didn't even dare to face her and rushed straight into his strongest attack

so, on day 5, Zero won once more. today was Day 5, and only 8 people remained, well, now only 7 people. The Grand Thunder Sect did well, 3 people from their sect took part in the tournament, and that alone would make their name spread. On top of that, 2 of their members came in the top 10. 

With Zero fighting for the top 4. the remaining 3 matches today were between the Vampire Prince vs the Golden Man. The winner between those two would fight Zero tomorrow. After them was the holy son vs The Son Of The Sea

after them was The Blind Monk vs. the Sword King. these were the matches to come, and each match could last up to 30 minutes, allowing them to take their time.

The Golden Man defeated the Vampire Prince, the Holy Son was defeated by the Son of the Sea, and the Blind Monk defeated the Sword King. With this, tomorrow's matches were set, a fight for the top 4 spots...

"You broke through..." The Golden Man said while standing opposite Zero who was now letting others know he was at level 10 Qi gathering. thanks to his high level of control over Qi, he was good at making it look as if he had a different cultivation realm

"If not, I might have lost today," I said calmly, to which the Golden Man sneered. he was truly handsome, the golden man had short-brown hair. he had a beard which only increased his charm and beautiful deep enchanting hazel eyes. he was a man, in his mid-20s. adding that gentle glow that surrounded him, it showed he had a pure human bloodline

"And start!" the elder said, causing the Golden Man to burst forward. in his hands, two axes appeared, which he waved at Zero. with those waves, slashes shot towards Zero, leaving the ground below cut.

'He is being careful' I thought calmly watching how the Golden Man watched every step he made, as while as every step I made. I flipped over to stand on my hands, dodging the attacks while at the same time sending a huge wave of lightning into the ground,

'they had removed all of the iron... in a rage of 10 miles? such cheaters.' I thought while controlling the ground, sending earth spears toward the golden man. The Golden Man instantly waved his axes, cutting through the earth's spears,

"It's pointless." The Golden man said with a smirk as he appeared before me, I wasted no time and repelled myself into the air, dodging his attacks. at the same time, lightning gathered in my hands, turning into lightning bolts, before I threw one of them down at the Golden Man.

The Golden Man didn't even attempt to dodge, this lightning bolt was too fast. reaching a speed of Mach 2, it was something he couldn't hope to dodge. instead, he swung his axes to meet with the lightning bolt. the flash created a huge shock wave, which sent The Golden Man shooting backward before he slammed his axes down to slow himself down.

'what type of attack was that.' The golden man thought feeling how numb he felt. he gritted his teeth, he refused to lose to a lesser human. waving his hands, his axes disappeared, replaced with something else. he looked across the stadium, where Zero had landed. he too was affected by the attack, which destroyed the center of the Stadium.

Zero floated off the ground, and with a flash, he shot forward, while at the same time, the golden man shot forward. As soon s Zero threw the lightning bolt at him, the golden man quickly threw the iron rod up slightly. the lightning bolt shooting towards him suddenly turned, hitting the iron rod. an explosion went off, sending him flying forward towards Zero at high speed. he quickly pulled out an axe, aiming to cut Zero down.

"I win" he roared as he swung the Axe down, cutting Zero in half. blue flew into the sky, allowing him to breathe slightly. He looked at the sky, sighing softly to himself.

"Naw... I'd win." Behind the Golden Man, Zero appeared, resting his sword on his neck. The golden man froze, unable to comprehend what just happened. he looked down, and saw that the Zero he cut down had disappeared... he had cut down a clone.

"The winner is Zero." the elder said, stunned by the outcome of the match. Zero turned to leave, causing the Golden Man to turn around, unwilling to accept this. but before he could say anything, Zero spoke.

"Stand Proud, for you are strong." Zero said softly, causing The Golden Man to freeze, regaining his senses. He looked at Zero for some time, before turning around and walking off, while the crowd cheered...

The second match quickly followed after a 30-minute break, The Son Of the Sea Vs The Blind Monk. It was another great match, The Blind Monk had a powerful fist that created shock waves with each punch, but before the wave The Son of The Sea created the power behind those punches was overwhelmed.

So, it was set. tomorrow, Zero and The Son Of The Sea were to fight, sadly things would not be so simple.

Later that night, The sect master of the Grand Thunder Sect was met with the sect master of the Adam and Eve Sect. 

"Might I know why Sir Adam wishes to speak with me?" The sect master asked with a serious look, clearly not liking the fact of this. the Adam and Eve sect was unique, the sect master could only be a male, with the second hand being a female. it was unknown way this was, both the sect master would be given the title Adam, while the second hand be given the name Eve.

"I will cut to the point, tomorrow, Zero will have a massive upper hand against the son of the sea. Once he wins, I want the prize for first place, and in return, my sect and your sect could become close." He said calmly before he frowned and slowly looked up, where he saw Jasmine looking at him from on top of the roof.

"They are being backed by me." She said calmly, making Adam's face turn cold.

"Do your house of witches want to start another witch hunt? All for a man?" He asked, making Jasmine's eyes turn cold. but she said nothing as a laugh came from the sky.

"Zero is someone I like, I look forward to making him join my sect... so, I will enjoy it greatly if you show me some face and stop trying bullying others." the dragon emperor said while floating down, causing Adam's face to drop.

"Let's avoid conflict amongst each other, don't push it Adam, one wrong push and all of the powerhouse would erase your sect from this world." a white-haired young man said, while appearing on a roof, he had strange red eyes which glowed in the dark. this was the sect master of the House of Vampires.

"Indeed, after you cheating today and removing all of the Iron. you're lucky we're not acting now. The Grand Thunder Sect is not for you to bully, now run off" Jasmine said with a sneer, vines appeared on Adam's forehead, not understanding just how the Grand Thunder Sect had gained so many allies. but he quickly guessed it was because of Zero.

The Queen Witch's connection with Zero, the Dragon Emperor wants to take Zero... but why was the Vampire Lord here? He said nothing else and simply left, he couldn't afford to face 3 of the top 5 sects... at least not yet. He needed not to think much, Zero was behind it all

"T-thank you." The Grand Thunder sect leader said stunned that so many powerful beings came to help him. but the Dragon Emperor sect just shook his head

"No need, your disciple is someone I had my eyes on for some time now." The Dragon Emperor said while disappearing. The Grand Thunder Sect leader was speechless, he didn't believe for a second there was such a kind cultivator out there...

"Sigh, what a drag." The Son of The Sea said while scratching his head, he looked at me, and only let out another sigh. How was he to fight lightning as water, water was a conductor? it would just be giving Zero Lightning a greater range of effect.

"You can just give up," I said with a shrug, to which the Son Of The Sea hesitated for a second, but he sighed once more. I looked at him for some time, before speaking.

"What's wrong? You're not the type to do such a thing, you're forcing yourself... let me guess, someone shameless is forcing you to kill me?" I asked calmly, stunning The Son Of The Sea, at his look I nodded slightly.

"I see... there is a reason why they didn't just step forward to kill me. they are scared of me. what are they forcing you with?" I asked calmly, stunning the Son of The Sea, who looked at me for some time

"You have the backing of the House Of Witches?" He asked in an extremely low voice, to which I just nodded slightly

"And the Dragon Emperor sect," I said calmly, at my words, the son of the sea looked towards where the dragon Emepror was, who just nodded at him.

"The sect master Of Adam and Eve is holding my sect as a hostage. if I don't kill you, he would kill me along with the whole sect." He said causing everyone to look towards the sect master of the Adam and Eve sect, leaving his face dark.

"Shameless, Your Sea Emperor sect is under my protection. I want to see someone dare to lay a finger on them." The Dragon Emperor said while glaring at Adam, at the same time, those who saw a chance to suppress the number one rank sect stepped forward. at this point, it didn't matter if the son of the sea was lying, they would turn a lie into fact.

"Why would I want to target him? You dare spread lie..." Adam who wanted to fight back against the claims froze when a video began playing. showing the scene of him meeting with The Sect Master of the Grand Thunder Sect and how he was going to force them to give up the reward. but it didn't stop there as the video followed him as he went to see the Son of The Sea, along with the sect master.

"It's simple, this sword is covered in poison. even a simple cut would be enough to kill hundreds of elephants within a heartbeat. simply cut Zero with this, and take this pill to temporarily boost your strength." He said while putting a pill and sword on the table, leaving the sect master and the son of the same face darken

"If you don't, I will slaughter this whole sect. Your sister, she shall make for a good tool to pleasure my disciple." He said sending a chill down the Son of The Sea,

"I... I will do it." He said, within his sect only having a level 9 Core Formation realm expert backing them. they couldn't hope to face the number one rank sect.

"Good." He said coldly before walking off...

"How disgusting, to think you would drop so low. I believe I speak for everyone when I say your sect needs to cough up a few things to pay Sea Emperor sect." The Dragon Emperor said while floating up, joined by Jasmine, the Vampire lord, and the Holy priest. 

"Your actions have truly disgusted me, Adam, is this how a child of god should act?" The Holy Priest asked with a look of sadness. Adam's face was dark seeing how 4 of the 5 sects were standing before him, like this. where did he go wrong? how was he followed without knowing it? who was following him? he was played, he was played

The crowd was against him, he would hear how they were booing towards him. this was bad, a sect that existed for millions of years, it could fall today if he made one wrong move... he looked around before his eyes landed on Zero. he could feel a mocking gaze aimed at him,

'what are you going to do now? run to your sect and active the sacrifice? will you awaken the zombie? will you use your supreme human cultivation secret art and do a summon?' a genderless voice entered Adam's voice, causing him to feel as if time froze. who was this voice from? how did they know of his clan secrets? it had to be someone from the sect... yes, that made sense, someone from his sect was scheming against him. but who? now that he thought of it, it could be anyone. because of their pure bloodline, it made them scheme above all other things.

Humans had the strongest minds, and thats the best gain from their human bloodline... and he was just out schemed today. he looked around for some time, before shooting into the sky and disappearing. he needed to hide and take cover, he first needed to find out who it was betrayed him...

sadly for him, no one betrayed him. someone just saw all possible futures with him as the center...

after a small break after all that just played out, The Son The Sea admitted defeat, giving Zero first place. with that, Zero took the reward while he stood on stage, where pictures were flashing. everyone who came in the top 256 was rewarded, but only those in the top 10 got the chance to stand on this stage taking pictures.

Zero created a clone, which handled everything. by handling everything, I mean doing some interviews, signing some autographs, and so on, So, the main body just took the reward and went off to work.

"heavenly crystal..." I said softly while looking at the crystal, just how was he going to use this to bring out the best effect? the heavenly crystal was filled with heavenly Qi, once absorbed, all that Qi would help one form their core. but just using this wouldn't help me create a supreme Core. I needed to create the Core Densing Pill.

"I can't believe you had your sister do such a task, you must reward me for my hard work," Alice said with a pout while giving me a bunch of herbs. what task was she talking about? She was just running around the United States, getting herbs for me. As for where she knew them to be, I had seen the future. I simply looked at a future where I sent the Dragon Emepror to search for them, after he found them, I had him tell me.

After, I look at another future where I used that information to have the dragon Emperor search for them. with that, I collected more details on the location of the herbs and know which herbs were the safest to get, and which might need more hands.

She went to places where no one had found them just yet, only weak wild beasts. because of this, she could get them at a high speed with the help of the dragon son whom the Dragon Emperor sent out to help her.

"Yeah, sure... now let me first make the pill," I said while taking the herbs, before taking the furnace out. I had already seen the countless possibilities and knew how to make a Core Densing pill with 100% purity. but it went deeper than that,

I have seen just how to make the most capable pill, meaning I have improved the ingredients. the pills I was about to make would greatly help in making the most dense core possible, I was also going to add the energy from the heavenly crystal into it, to boost the effect to another level.

Alice had a 90% chance of making a Supreme Grade Core, I should also fall within the same degree of chance. adding the fact I can foresee the future, and pick the best possible future, we both pretty much had a 100% chance.

So, I got to work, with Alice sitting at the side, watching me work. she couldn't help but smile seeing me so serious... her brother was just so cute and so perfect. what she wouldn't do to give him a big hug.

"Alright. I call this the Grand Core Densing Pill. only 7 were made, it should be enough." I said calmly, but before I could do anything, Alice hugged me,

"What are you doing?" I asked with a sigh, to which Alice just smiled happily.

"I'm just happy we are together once again, me and you. On top of that, we have systems." She said joyfully. to which I just sighed while taking the pills and giving her one.

"Let's get stronger before anything. you can have the remaining heavenly crystal." I said to which Alice nodded slightly. with that, I sat down and ate the pill. I closed my eyes and focused on breathing through to level 1 Core formation. Thanks to the pill, the Qi sea quickly began to harden. it turned into a gray core, which was a common grade core. but a layer of Qi covered the core and compressed, making the Gray core turn silver.

More layers covered the core, and kept compressing, causing the core to grow denser and grow into many colors. with each layer, the flow of Qi which covered the Core grew slower and slower, as well as the compression. it became white, then green, then blue, and golden, before turning purple and stopping upon red...

'This isn't my limit' I thought while moving my QI to cover the core once more. it was slow, extremely slow, but I felt like I could compress the core one last time. So, I did just that. My core was swallowed with Qi and was slowly compressed. slowly the red core began to go from a light shade of red, into a dark red. 

I let out a deep breath and opened my eyes. I stood up while feeling my body. I had stepped into the core formation realm, and the power I could draw upon was truly great, as was as strong as with my laws and armor on... no, I was stronger.

'I didn't expect this... how long was I cultivating, it should have been a few weeks.' I thought while pulling out my phone, which quickly showed I was cultivating for only 3 days. this was a shocker to me because forming the core sometimes could take upwards of a month. yes it felt like a few minutes to me, but that was because I was focused

"You adapted as you compressed the core. this should be why you were able to make that final compression." Incursio said to which I used an eyebrow for a moment, before nodding in understanding. 

I looked toward Alice and saw she was still making her core, I didn't distract her and simply waited for her... I couldn't help but smile while looking at her, all serious... so cute. I wonder if I could help her in forming her core. I looked into the future and quickly found that I could help her make the same grade core as myself, it would just take a long time. so, I went on to place my palm on her back, while sending my voice into her mind to tell her what was going on...
