5 Chapter 4- After 3 weeks

After Alice's motivation, sam resumed his cultivation, cultivation for hours,and hours turned to days, 'it turned out that you don't need to eat or drink after cultivating really such magical energy', sam has been cultivating for about a one week but had barely advanced a level after all that cultivation.

"how long will I have to do this"

"you just need one more level and you can start practicing how to control puppets"

"but I don't have any"

"you have every occupations starters pack inside the inventory"

"oohh!! really?"said sam excitedly, while checking his inventory, 'they're really there' thought sam excitedly.

"leave them for now you should focus more on your cultivation" said alice sternly, as if warning a kid to finish his homework before playing with it's toys.

"yea yea"said sam resuming his cultivation, ' although the vital energy to advance one more level has become four times more but my sensing area and absorption speed has doubled'

After two weeks of constant cultivation, sam has finally made an advancement.

" finally a breakthrough" spoke sam trying to copy those cultivators that appeared in chinese movies.

"yea..yea there isn't any time for that, now that your level three you should start training puppet control"

"why can't I just stay here and cultivate for the rest of the year"

"that's because if you do that sooner or later we might get noticed by monsters, and if you keep cultivating with thin energy you're gonna be left in the dust by the other chosen"

"sigh…"

'why do I have to go through all of this' thought sam while opening his inventory he looked for the puppeteer starter pack and took it out, what appeared in front of him was a large box about 3 meters long, and half a meter in height.

He moved towards the box, and opened it what appeared inside was a puppet, it almost looked like human, if someone ignored the wood colour and cracks that are in place were the parts are connected then it would look like a human.

other than the puppet there seemed to be some spare part to repair the doll if it got damaged, and there were two + shaped wood pieces to control the puppet.

"it seems to be a low rank puppet is it gonna be of any use in here"

"well if you use it smartly against the weakest beasts out there then maybe"

sam took the wooden crosses to try and control the puppet he started infusing the crosses with his vital energy.

he started feeling as if the puppet was part of his body, it was a weird feeling to suddenly feel like you have an extra body.

he tried moving the puppet with the crosses, the puppet started squirming in the box, it moved its arms started moving its arms and held the the box, and pushed itself up trying to pull itself into a sitting position, but it suddenly fell into the box and seized moving.

"it's really hard...huh...huh...it's like I'm moving two….huph...huph... bodys at the same time"said sam.

"that's normal everything is hard at the beginning but you'll be good at it with time, now get back to checking the puppet abilities and practice controlling that, after that we'll get ready for some hunting"
