37 First Dungeon

Once they entered the adventurers guild, the people inside were much cleaner looking and seemed less rough. Nobody seemed to be bothered about Lux and his group's entrance and the most attention that they got was a few people turning to see who had entered and then turning back again.

Lux searched the area with his eyes and spotted Fin's girlfriend, "Oi Fin, you should be the first one to go over and see her mate."

"Yeah alright, just come over in a minute."

Lux decided to use [Ultimate Analysis] while Fin was talking to her.

[Ice Magic] (Rare) lvl.4. Ability to use Ice Magic

[Ice Shield] (Rare) lvl.3. Create a shield out of ice with varying defensive properties depending on level.

[Night Vision] (Uncommon) lvl.3. Ability to see in the dark with varying levels of vision depending on level.

Fin waved to Lux and the others to come over and they walked up to the table where Fin and Olivia were sitting.

"Hey guys, long time no see. It seems that you're the worlds strongest, how the hell did that happen?"

"Just lucky I guess. So you're an ice witch huh, nice class and you have some pretty decent skills."

"How did you know, actually never mind. I won't even question it, but what I will question is who's that girl behind you?"

"I'll let you two introduce yourselves while I go and see what sort of quests there are here."

Lux walked over to the quest board and Petra spoke for the first time since they had entered the guild, "Hi, my name is Petra. I was saved by Lux and decided to stay with him for as long as I can."

"Wow, sounds pretty serious, I'm not surprised that you want to travel with him, he has got much better looking and I wouldn't be surprised if he was sculpted by God himself, you better snatch him up before some other girl does. Although I don't think that will be a problem because boy oh boy am I jealous of you."

"What do you mean by snatch up, and why would you be jealous of me?"

"Wait, do you seriously not know? Well never mind that, you'll find out soon enough. Anyway, it seems that he's coming over now so go ask him what quests he found."

Petra walked over to Lux and asked about the quests and he explained to her that there is a dungeon in Ekueyta that nobody has ever managed to get to the bottom of.

The group left the guild and walked to the dungeon that was located at the centre of the city. They had to show their guild cards to the man standing by the dungeon entrance to make sure they were strong enough to enter. He was not very startled by Fin and Ethan's S rank cards or Olivia's B rank. However, he was very shocked to see Petra's SS rank card and had to notion to his colleague to get the Guild Master to test if it was authentic or not.

After waiting for a while, the Guild Master arrived and looked at Petra's card, he was able to identify that it was, in fact, a one hundred percent real guild card and was about to go on his way when Lux asked him if he needed to check his card as well. He handed it to him and his jaw dropped, "Th-th-this is an SSS rank card, there's no way that this is real."

"Just check it, my card is as real as they come."

"Ok, fine. But there is no way that this card is real. Never mind, this is definitely real. I apologise for my inconvenience sir, I will now take my leave."

The Guild Master left with as much speed as he possibly could but Lux was unbothered and entered the dungeon along with the others.

Every level was a complete cake-walk and Lux cleared them out with his clones. After only about an hour, he had gotten further than any one ever had before but things were still laughably easy for Lux and the others, although they did not do much.

The group came across a lot of loot along the way but none of it was of any use to them. Once they reached the final floor had a boss monster residing on it that was nothing compared to the monsters in the Impossible Tutorial but stronger than any monsters that ninety nine percent of adventurers had fought. The giant orc monster boss was dispatched of quickly and the group went to see what the reward would be for beating the dungeon would be.

It turned out to be a tome that could raise the rank of one skill to the rank directly above it. Lux attempted to use it himself but none of the skills could get any stronger. He then gave it to Petra and she attempted to use it on one of her Legendary skills but it was unable to work, but when she used it on [Fast Regeneration].

It worked and [Fast Regeneration] became [Instant Regeneration] (Legendary) lvl.8. The skill could regenerate health and body parts at an instant rate but does not prevent death if body or brain is fully destroyed.

"You're even stronger now, good for you. Oh, and you guys, sorry for not giving it to any of you but a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do."

Fin chuckled at that, "I completely understand what you're getting at."

Both Ethan and Olivia also noticed what Lux was saying and laughed as well.

They then went through a portal in the place of the boss, and appeared back on the surface. Instead of being able to leave normally though, there were swarms of people who wanted to know what had happened as the dungeon was announced to have been fully cleared.

Lux realised that he might have done something important, "Oh shit, this seems like trouble."
