30 [Ultimate Analysis] And The Roulette

Instead of instantly checking his status this time like previous levels, he was more intrigued by the pop-up hologram that was very different to the other previous ones. It had two options that were side by side to one another.

One of them was to do the final ten levels and level up his skill normally after every level much like he had done previously. Lux thought that this was weird to even be given as an option as it was just the regular set up that he was used to.

The second option sounded more intriguing but also more dangerous. There was a roulette wheel with monsters ranging from Common to Impossible. Of course there were a lot less weak monsters than strong ones, but there were only three Impossible level monster slots. Lux could not see any specific monsters as they were only represented by colours with one of the three golden slots having a slight green glow to it and the other two having yellow and red glows.

Lux would be able to use all of his skills and fighting the monster and winning would count as ten levels being completed. If he defeated it then he would also be able to keep the monster as his familiar afterwards. His skill that he has obtained on this level will also instantly become lvl.10 and gain Full Mastery.

There was also the huge added benefit of gaining his Unique, Impossible level class before beating the final level which was a real deal-breaker.

Lux decided that there were more benefits than doing a normal set of ten levels and that they weren't outweighed by the cons of it. He knew that he would most definitely land on one of the Impossible level monsters as this was the Impossible difficulty Tutorial after all. He also thought that having a strong familiar would really help him. He picked the second option and decided to now check his status.

" An analysis skill, and its already max level as promised at least I can know what I am going to be fighting and their skills and stats. Well, I may as well use this on myself to see my stats. Also, I'm surprised to see that I am half God and half Jötunn but it kind of makes sense now as to why I have Loki's sword and clothes. If that was not enough to make it obvious of what that meant then I would be a real idiot and even more so my class says it all really. Clearly I have inherited Loki's powers through one way or another, it could be solely due to the Tutorial or it might have always been there but I guess I'll never know.?"

Lux already knew his skills so he only wanted to know what his stats were like and they were higher than he had expected. They read as follows:

Strength: 1,500,000,000

Speed: 1,500,000,000

Defense: 1,500,000,000

Dexterity: 1,500,000,000

Endurance: 1,500,000,000

Vitality: 1,500,000,000

Magic: 1,500,000,000

Charisma: 1,500,000,000

"Oh boy, that is quite strong isn't it. Actually, I have nothing to compare myself to as there are no other people around here, so it could be completely average. Guess that I will have to find out once I leave this hell hole of a tutorial."

Lux decided that it was time for him to spin the wheel and see what monster he would get. It started moving and eventually landed on the Golden spot with the green glow around it. Lux did not know what would happen next but was sure that there would definitely be a monster spawning sooner or later. Lux got a hologram notification that told him that the monster he would be facing was Jörmungandr. Lux was ready to fight and the moment he stopped reading a giant snake head appeared from the ground, followed by the rest of the huge body.

Lux saw the gigantic, black and red coloured snake monster appear before him and used [Ultimate Analysis] on it to see its skills and stats.

"Oh damn, if I'm strong, then it would mean that my potential familiar is also very strong if we compare our stats. Well, I guess its time to fight."

Lux used [Activate Lævateinn Set] and for the first time in ages, summoned his flaming sword to fight again and as expected, his clothes also were set ablaze due to his skill being active.

However, instead of the monstrous snake attempting to attack the clearly battle-ready Lux, it put its head down to where he was and seemed to be in a non-hostile mood. Lux then remembered that Jörmungandr was actually the son of Loki and that he was the inheritor of his powers. It seemed as though, although Jörmungandr could tell that Lux was not Loki, it still did not want to attack him and on the contrary, wanted to join him.

Lux was not opposed to this as he presumed there was a way to make Jörmungandr his familiar without killing it and a hologram popped up that told him that it was possible if they both agreed to it. Once they had formed their contract, Lux told Jörmungandr to use [size Alteration] to become small enough to go around Lux's neck. He put him comfortably around his shoulders and neck and went up to the newly emerged portal which, thanks to this quick encounter with Jörmungandr, would finally lead to the new world.

Lux walked through the portal and was extremely happy to finally be done with the Tutorial and was glad to be able to see his friends and family again, that was if they had survived, but Lux was confident that they would be okay.

A hologram appeared: TUTORIAL COMPLETE. And then Lux saw himself surrounded by other people.
