10 Chapter 10

"Thank you for bringing my daughter home safely." My father said grinning. "It was no problem sir. The pleasure was ours." Nero purred looking straight at me. I glared right back at him. "So have you thought of courting my daughter?" Father asked. "I would love to court her." Nero smirked at me. I griminced in disgust. "I would like to court her as well." Noah butted in. I couldn't help but smile. I kinda actually liked him. I shook my head. No suitors. I reminded myself. "Me too." Nathan growled. This wasn't going to end well. All three of them trying to court me.

"I approve. My daughter hasn't had a suitor in over a year. Maybe this time you guys might last." My father laughed. I frowned. "Maybe we can hold off the whole courting thing for a little. Let me get to know them better. Then I'll decide who to court." I tried to negotiate. "You said that the last four times and you still don't have a suitor." Father pointed out. I huffed. If I told him I didn't want a suitor he would force me into an arranged marriage. I sighed. "I promise. I'll even sign a contract." I lied. Father grinned. "I inticipated that. Sign here." He held up a paper. I groaned. I definitely fell into that one.

I got up and grabbed the quill from his hand. I quickly dipped it in ink and scratched my name onto the contract, signing my future away. "And it is done."
