Chocolate and Vanilla

She didn't know how it happened. It shouldn't be possible. Kate was a weak girl with plain brown hair and tan skin who focused on academics too much. Yet she somehow managed to screw up her painfully normal life by attracting the attention of none other than the queen herself. Alice, a cheerleader that always had her angelic blonde hair swaying in a high ponytail. Alice, her bully. Alice slacked in class, but still managed to pass. She was always paying attention to her looks, and she was the head of the cheer-leading team. Alice often made fun Kate for being so nerdy, but she had never done any physical harm. Kate was secretly grateful for that, because she had seen what physical bullying could do to kids. Kate hadn't known that Alice wasn't doing it to avoid consequence, but to refrain from damaging her "perfect" face. That was, until Kate was walking past the girl locker rooms. School was out, but Kate had stayed to finish some work and help the librarian rearrange books. Cheerleader practice was over, and the girls were emptying out, leaving only Alice inside. Suddenly, Kate was dragged inside and pinned against the locker with a finger held over her lip. Kate blushed when she realized how close Alice was to her, and she took in some of her details. The almond-shaped eyes adorned with ocean blue irises, the mascara and eyeliner that made the strength of her glare rival an owls and contrast beautifully with her pale skin, the heart shaped lips that were shining with lip-gloss, the high cheekbones that lined her perfectly sculpted face, and the golden hair that swayed with every movement. Alice leaned closer, the vanilla fragrance of her shampoo radiating from her body. Kate widened her chocolate brown eyes as Alice pounced hungrily on her, and left her bed-ridden the next day. Chocolate and vanilla always did go good together.
