As Adrian slowly blinked his eyes open, he felt something soft beneath his head. Ignoring that, Adrian's attention went to the glowing texts floating in front of his eyes.

'Looks like I got it after all...'

Rubbing his eyes, he realised he was naked, and so was Sophia. Their clothes lay on the beach, drying in the sun. While his head rested on her bare thighs, the softness he felt was from her.

"Nothing can beat the comfort of a thigh pillow," Adrian chuckled but stopped abruptly.

Remembering what happened beneath the sea, Adrian's hand shot up to his face. Relief washed over him as he confirmed the deformity was gone. The Blighted Skeleton's skull had been replaced by his own, thanks to the troll blood he'd received.
