1 "No, I just realished just how tiring and boring my life wash"

It has been an exhausting year since I was born into this world. I couldn't have imagine how boring, tiring and dull a baby's life was --- not since I've been reincarnated into one. Have I stated already how exhausting it was? A lot of speech practices and muscle training for faster growth of my body because I don't know if I can last with this uncooperative body of mine. Can you imagine having an adult brain with a baby's body? Jeez, that humiliation of peeing your own bed and being on a diaper ---well not really, I was on a linen cloth acting as my diapers, because to my surprise, diapers does not exist in this world. I sighed deeply.

"What's with that sigh?" asked a boy in front of me.

"Brother!" I exclaimed, "You're back! How wash it? Have you found anyshing?" I asked as he approached me and lifted me up.

"I found quite a lot of herbs and hunted some animals" he reported, pinching my cheeks, he asked "so what was that sigh all about? Is my little sister having a problem? "

I shook my head in response, "No, I just realished just how tiring and boring my life wash"

My brother chuckled, "pfft~ Vie, it was just your first year being born and you sound like a big old granny" he teased

I pouted, "Hmph! Bad Theo! " I sulked as I tried to free myself from his arms.

He still continued laughing while trying to calm me down by caressing my back. "s--sorry, sorry pfft~ My bad, that was wrong of me" he stated trying to hold back his laugh which garnered him my 'rolling eyes'.

As his composure slowly came back to him after the sudden fit of laughter, he said, "Though I truly agree how life can be boring and exhausting when you're in a baby's body. All those time of not doing anything but turn your head around, flapping your limbs around and turning back and forth. God knows how much I celebrated when I can finally walk and talk."

"And that took you how many yearsh?" I asked

"A year Vie, just a year" Theo answered

"Hmph! Then we're jush je shame" I complained which garnered me another laugh from him.

"Come, it's time for study!" he reminded and started climbing down on our tree house.

Me and Theo aren't exactly normal, not when you know how we were born. The two of us doesn't have any parents, you can say that the Ygdrassil tree is our parent as it was the one who kinda 'gave birth' to us. Theo was born when the only fruit of the Ygdrassil fell from the tree and split into half. Three years later, when the flower bud of the Ygdrassil opened, I was found inside. We were born in a forest and ever since I was born here, I haven't seen any humans except Theo.

Theo went eastward to where we usually hold our lessons. The two of us decided to call it THE SELIE COURT because this is where the higher fairies mostly live and the place looks like it was out of a fairytale book. It has a lot of magical crystals and stones growing there and many beautiful but unfamiliar plants and flowers seen there. During night time, on a full moon, the lake at the center of the court sparkles that take form a serene iridescent water and crystals would also slowly grow out of its waters. That is why we call it the CRYSTAL LAKE, other than how sparkly and crystalline it looks, it can also create crystals during full moon. However, the place where we usually study is nowhere near the lake because we can't venture deep inside the Selie court on our own volition as the Arch Faries lives within that grounds. We stopped when we saw a big flat table and chair made out of Magic stones. We sat there as we wait for Ostara, the Arch Fairy of Air--- our mentor and one of the fairies who looked after us and served as our parents as we grow up.

Minutes later, we saw Ostara flying on our way and landed in front of us.

"May the elements shine upon you" Ostara greeted us, smiling warmly

"And may the sun and moon guide you" We greeted back and we sat down on our usual place.

Ostara has a slender figure. She has a light blue eyes that are as beautiful as the vast sky. Her long, silky straight peach-colored hair adorned with Yellow crystals and white,yellow and pink flowers are flowing freely as the breeze blows. Her wings are as clear as water emitting golden flakes and she was dressed modestly in pastel color of spring.

"How was it? Have you guys talked about your experiences and past lives?" Ostara started with the question we hope would not be asked.

Heavy silence engulfed the place as we awkwardly meet each others eyes and then turning away our heads from one another.

"What is this I'm seeing? Have you guys not made up yet?" she asked sternly moving her sight from me to Theo who are sitting side by side across her.

"uhm... No, we're okay now---but... " I started but didn't continue as I thought of how I can explain the situation to Ostara

"We're fine for now Ostara, we have decided that it's not the right time to share our experiences to one another since I feel like I'm not quite ready yet and so is Viera" Theo explained as nodded my head in support with his statement.

"But! I know that we've both been betrayed in our past life which shucks really and that thish ish Theo's 3rd life" I explained and give an innocent smile

"And this is Vie's 2nd life" Theo added

"And the gift..." I started and then looked at Theo to let him continue

"The 'gift' that I was talking to you when I was a year and a half, it seems Vie also have one but quite different" he explained

Ostara looked at us for a second as she assess the situation between us before give a very deep sigh, "Alright, if that's what the two if you decided then that's what we'll do. Anyways, let's start our lesson for today"

Ostara talked about geography today, even though Theo already learnt this, for my sake, she was teaching it again. She spread out a big map on the table and there are 2 big and 2 small mass of land drawn on it. The biggest mass of land seen at the center of the map is what the fairies called the human territory/continent. This human continent is divided into five kingdom namely Valestia on the upper left, Escavar on the upper right, Zeheim on the lower left, Feru on the lower right and Ainswell at the center. Valestia being the biggest among them, followed by Ainswell, Escavar, Feru and lastly, the smallest of them all, Zeheim.

"This 2nd large mass of land you see drawn at the lower edge of the map is called the Fae territory/continent and this is where we are currently." said Ostara as she pointed out where our continent is situated on the map

"Then theshe two islands?" I inquired as I pointed out the two smaller mass of land situated near the fae continent opposite/far apart from one another.

"This is also part of our territory" Ostara answered

"So who hash bigger territory? The humans or ush? " I asked

Ostara looked at Theo for the answer.

He sighed, "Comparing our continent to each kingdom then our territory is definitely bigger but comparing both land masses, we are not quite sure but I believe together with the two other islands then ours is probably bigger"

At that time, a thought came unto me, "then, are we humans or not? " I asked as I tilted my head in inquiry.

Ostara and Theo looked at each other before looking at me and he gave an awkward and forced smile, "We're definitely humans Vie bit still quite not" he started, "remember how we were born and how we don't have parents? Do you think we can be considered as normal humans" he stated

"The both of you has the appearance of a human but I can definitely tell that the two of you doesn't have the lifespan of a human" Ostara added

I gasped, "What do you mean? Are we going to die earlier?" I asked

Theo's face suddenly contorted in a 'what are you talking about' look, "Silly, it means the opposite" he replied as he teased my nose by pinching it

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Shtap!" I protested as I removed his hands and rubbed my abused little nose.

Ostara and Theo giggled and the lesson continued like that.
