5 Chapter 5

Ai Hoshino is a beautiful and quite thin girl with gradient-colored eyes from purple to pink and a six-pointed star in each of her eyes. She also has a long blue-purplish hair with bangs that covered her small forehead.

She was currently wearing a white hoodie and white cap with circle dark shades to cover her eyes that would draw attention whenever it's seen. Both of her hands were carrying bags with groceries inside it.

[Pics]

Her outfit was a disguise since she was an Idol and she didn't want to gather unnecessary attention while shopping for groceries.

She stopped besides a highway and waited for a taxi to ride on so she could go home and meet her kids.

But then she heard someone from her side:

"Have you seen him? That cosplayer? I can't believe it, how can someone be so gorgeous!"

'Cosplayer?' It seemed like her spot light was getting stolen. By now, she would've checked her phone to see the cosplayer that they were talking about but she had lost it in her house, of course she thought it was due to her clumsiness and never in her mind did she doubt her children.

It was definitely there somewhere in her house but she didn't have the time to find it, after all, she had to buy groceries for her kids and herself.

"Kyaa~ look this is another picture of him he looks so natural, I wouldn't mind becoming his pet at all!"

Ai cringed hearing the excited girls besides her.

'Weirdos...' she thought and continued:

'That cosplayer's probably not at the level of my boyfriend.' She didn't want to brag about it but if she were to say that she had the most good looking boyfriend, it would be completely valid.

And if you ignore some of his red flags, you could say that he's the most perfect boyfriend, he was rich and good looking with a caring personality, though Ai would say that his love was a little bit... Heavy?

'But in the end he's just like everyone, another trash in this garbage society.'

Ai Hoshino had decided long ago to trust no one, even before she had met her boyfriend. After her experience with her abusive parents, it was hard for her to trust anyone.

They were the ones who had brought her to this world and even them could treat her that way, a non blood related could do worse right?

But she had made a mistake, that mistake was to trust someone again, and that someone was her boyfriend and probably the only person who could break her defenses.

No one could blame her though, after her experience with him, she couldn't help but break her defenses for him...

After all, he was different from the rest, she could tell that there was no ill intentions behind his actions, he was honest, unlike everyone, he was a person with no filter that does whatever he wants, and he was always there for her whenever she needed someone to stay by her side, he was her one and only comfort.

But he left, she couldn't believe it, after all his promises, he disappeared.

At first she didn't think too much about it since she still had her trust for him so she believed he'll comeback after a week or two.

That is when she realized she never really knew anything about her boyfriend, she knew his personality and stuff but he'd never said anything to her about his background, she tried searching for him through internet but she couldn't find anything, it was as if he never existed.

It devastated her, she had never felt so betrayed, but she still waited and waited but even after years, he still didn't comeback.

There were some doubts inside her saying things like 'What if it was never his intention to leave but he was forced to due to circumstance?'. Which made her have mixed feelings and for some reason a thought that he was dead never came to her mind.

Though it did, but it's like when she thinks about it, her whole existence would deny it, she really didn't know why or how.

Then, she decided to move on and just devoted herself to raising her kids.

That's what she thought...

"His golden hair looks natural too! I wonder if it's made of gold."

"A wig made of gold eh? Sounds cool!"

"Huh-?" Ai unconsciously approached the group of girls, there was an urge to question the girls and she was halfway but then a taxi arrived that made her realize her actions.

The taxi driver called her and asked if she wanted to ride, she nodded and got inside the taxi.

'It's not like he's the one blonde in this world... Why did I react that way? I thought I stopped caring about him...' She didn't know that she was sensitive to the words 'golden hair' until now.

'Is he the cosplayer?' She thought and quickly denied as if it was dumb considering about it, after all, she knew Gilgamesh, and he wasn't someone who seeks attention.

'Do I miss him?' She closed her eyes thinking about what she feels.

'Seems like I do...'
