5 Chapter 4 (New Ability)

"kuk~ kuk~ kuk~ kuk..." *Warning Call*

The mother of the baby squirrel reach closer, Sylvie gets little tense, as she approached them in just two giant leaps, even though they were Twenty meters away from each other. But the most critical thing was that her size was tantamount to a leopard. Which is just too big for a little kid who have no power to defend herself and experience to avoid the Attacks.

Sylvie wasn't a little short in comparison to the Mother Squirrel, she was almost five foot long. The sows reached out to her baby, Seraphina was unaware of her arrival. She was so enriched in playing that she wasn't able to notice her until her voice become little louder, as she came really close to them. Even with that gigantic size the sows jump is so inaudible and smooth that it can't be heard even if you're riding on its back.

"Sera~" Sylvie shouted at the top of her lungs to call her sister back, she was really frightened at the moment. Who wouldn't be if a big Cat size squirrel is standing right in front of you, with glowing red eyes and tails. On the contrary, Sera wasn't looking so panicked but she was still vigilant. Her playful nature was the reason to it, or it is something that she noticed, that is making her little unwary of the situation.

Seraphina flee backward to hide behind her sister back, she didn't afraid at all, but was just very obedient to her big sister. The kitten leap forward to reach out to his mother. He hopped around his mother in playful manner and stopped beside her, the mother looked into her kitten eyes. Then she looked towards Sylvie and Seraphina, she was actually observing them. Sylvie was very frightened at this moment and she was already in the fight or flight situation, she didn't froze like a coward. If any other kids were to be put in her position, they would have already given up all their hopes and started to beg for their life.

But it was unexpected for her, the sows didn't attack them and was only looking towards them from past several minutes. Particularly she was looking at Seraphina, cause she was very unique even among her species. A fully conscious kid wouldn't be in a spiritual form and still talk and fly like a powerful creature. The bright red light on her eyes dimmed, so on her tail. It followed by everyone doing the same, they jumped out of hiding and came forward. It looks like they were eagerly waiting for the answer from their leader, which was ofcourse the sows in front of them.

"Look sister! she is not attacking us. I think she is not afraid of us anymore." Seraphina said after a while. She came forward while still looking at the mother of kitten.

"I know! but that is not going to make any difference." Sylvie said anxiously. She was not worried about whether she is threat to them or not, because it is not a big deal if you are more powerful than your opponent. It is actually an advantageous situation. But this time it is quite opposite, they are the ones in a weak position and overly outnumbered.

"Huh!?" Sera asked in confusion. She is pondering "Why is her big sister still seems worried? even though the sows is not attacking them."

"I mean maybe she is now planning on to make us their food?" Sylvie said, it was obvious that she was not so much optimistic about the situation.

"Pfft!..." Sera laughed at the remark of her big sister and replied "Big sister! What would you do if i told you, they are vegetarians." She found that Sylvie is becoming overly cautious unnecessarily.

"What? What did you just say?" It was the turn for Sylvie to get amazed.

"I said she is vegan! We don't need to be worried of becoming her breakfast." Sera said nonchalantly.

"How are you so confident about this? Are you kidding with me? even in this dangerous situation." Sylvie couldn't believe her word. It looks like that Sera is still a kid and don't know how to observe a dangerous situation. Little did she know, she is the one being ignorant of the situation.

"Why don't you believe me? Oops!~" Sera exclaimed midway.

"What Oops!?" Sylvie replied.

"he... he~ I didn't told you, recently i discovered that i could see the power level of any being, see through their emotions, what diet they intake and many other interesting things." She said Proudly.

"Yet you didn't think about the need to tell about this to your big sister!" *Pout* Sylvie said while showing annoyance.

"No sister, i was just going to tell you about this. But we come across here out of nowhere, so i didn't get the time to reveal this~" She said with a wry smile.

"Humph! Traitor, you broke your promise!" Sylvie interrupted Seraphina's explanation with an interjection. They are sisters but most importantly they are besties, so they have promised, they will not hide any secrets from one another.

All this while, the mother and Kitten along with their scurry were listening to their conversation stupefied. Aren't this duo of sisters are still hostile and terrified just a while ago, and now they are quarrelling with each other, unconcerned of their surroundings. Truly, the mood of a youngster changes way more quickly than the colour of a lizard.

Sylvie calmed down a lot, she finally understood that by dimming her light the sows actually did cease her hostility. She put down her sword and squat down to the level of sows to greet her. The mother of kitten nodded like she has accepted their greeting, she let go of her child to play with them. It was because she has already found out that both of them are just kids and not powerful enough to be a threat for her. Besides, she observed that they were not attacking and are only defensive.

Sylvie and Seraphina played with the Kitten, the other members of scurry also joined them. The other squirrels hopped around them, some were still hesitant, some were really excited to go near them. Especially the young ones were very curious and they Start to climb over Sylvie, some of them were jumping on the air to catch Sera, she was playing very happily with them.

On close reckoning, Sylvie realised that they were no less than Two hundred. She wondered "How the hell i was ever thinking about getting out of here alive?". She thought it was ridiculous of her, to think of escaping from here. If not for the ability of Seraphina, she may have already taken a bad decision that could lead to their demise. They played for a while before they realise that they can't get out of this dome unless they find a way.

Sylvie called her sister, sera came near her and asked "what's the matter sister?" Sylvie replied "How are we supposed to leave this place?, We can't stay here forever!"

"Umm.., I don't know~ maybe there is a door to get outside." Sera said without any worry, as if she knew everything about this place.

"Whew—So you can even see this things!" Sylvie asked with a breath of relief.

"No! I can't do that. I was just guessing!" Sera denied right away.

"Ah, and here i thought you have gained some useful ability. Tut! You're useless as usual." Sylvie said to tease her. Her hope was shattered "Like she have to live in this place for lifetime, How are they going to survive here?". Well she was overthinking and was becoming very desperate to leave this place. She was not being unreasonable, as an elder among them she's the one who have to think about this kind of crucial details.

"Hey! Don't call me that, how am i supposed to know about this damn~ i mean beautiful place." Sera changed her remark midway, as she realise this place is not so bad in contrast to outside.

"Beautiful! Can you eat this beauty? Now go, search for your escape Door, if it exists!" Sylvie mocked her a little while ordering her to search for any escape route.

"Aw! come on sister, i don't want to leave this place." She cried, though she didn't deny her big sister order and starts to search for the route. Sera moved towards the branch of tree that was laid on the outer edge of dome. She was still being followed by the group of curious Kitten.

Sylvie turned towards other direction, she was about to move she noticed something and stopped abruptly.

"Where is that water coming from?" She saw a small stream of water flowing down from the Trunk of tree, that was moving towards the edge of dome. It looks like that the stream has made a small lake below the tree. She called back sera and asked her to search, if they could go through the opening made by that stream.
