3 Chapter 2

Soojung's POV

It is lunchtime, I and Jieun are sitting at our usual spot near the basketball field under a big tree. We were happily eating when we were interrupted by the boys, our best friends; Johnny, Jaehyun, Mark, and the guy that I hate the most in this whole wide world, Lee Taeyong. Well, the truth is, I like him. It's just that I don't know how to express my feelings.

They sat down and started eating their food. As usual, Johnny being his noisy self, started talking about our homeroom teacher that he hates. The boys then started talking about games, and boys stuff while I just eat my food quietly.

Jisung came by and ask where Eun Na was. We didn't have the chance to answer when Johnny suddenly yelled,

"AY, Eun Na-yah who's the boy? Is he your boyfriend? What are you doing? Were you thinking to just pass us by?"

"Oh my god slow down will you." I rolled my eyes while saying that to him.

"No. No. His name is Jaemin, a new student. I was told to give him a tour around the school." Eun Na answered Johnny's questions.

Johnny and the other boys offered Jaemin to sit with us. And started to interview him. I could feel like they all will be best friends. Not that I mind. The more the merrier right? But also, the more, the noisier.

Eun Na ran and back-hugged Jieun and me.

"I missed you, Soojung unnie, Jieun unnie," she said with her aegyo-filled voice while hugging us tightly.

"I missed you too." I ruffled her hair while smiling widely.

"Aw, I want a hug too," Jaehyun said while opening his arms widely, looking at me.

Suddenly Jisung hugged him while saying,

"There you go hyung a hug."

I could see Jaehyun pouting. I pinched his cheeks. He's such a baby.

After recess, I walk alone through the hallway, I can hear footsteps right behind me and the footsteps are really loud like someone running towards me. He slings his arm on my shoulders before facing me.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"You. I want you!" he laughs.

I blushed at the same time annoyed. I quickly walk past him. He followed me from behind and poked my shoulder. I wanted him to stop so I turned back and stared at him. He smiled like a fool. Or should I say an angel?

"Okay, I'll stop. Quick move! We'll be late to class if you keep on staring at my handsome perfect face." he said cockily before putting his hands on my shoulders before pushing me to walk.

"Who cares if we're late to class?" I said.

"Oh really, are you saying that you prefer to stare at me all day? Okay." he grabbed my wrist and started pulling me somewhere.

"Yah, where are we going?" I asked.

We walked by our class and suddenly Jaehyun walked out of our class and grabbed my other wrist and asked,

"Where are you guys going? Mr. Kim will be here soon."

I let go of my wrists that are held by the boys and walk into class quickly. Taeyong walked in behind Jaehyun and started to shoot lasers through Jaehyun's head. Jaehyun was smiling at me while walking to our seat without knowing anything.

Jieun's POV

Me and Soojung unnie is attending our club meeting(music club). The teacher announced that we are going on a field trip. Our teacher is allowing volunteers to join, so we thought of our baby maknae Eun Na. Since she likes to join volunteer works so why not bring her with us. I wonder, if I ask Mark, would he want to join?

During recess the next day, I asked Eun Na whether she would want to be a volunteer.

"Of course! I would love to!" she said, very cheerfully.

"Where are you guys going?" Taeyong oppa raised his eyebrow.

"We are going on a field trip, but our club needs volunteers to set up things," I explained.

"Oh my God! I volunteer! I volunteer! Maybe, I will meet the love of my life there." Johnny said very excitedly.

"Do you guys wanna join?" Johnny asked the boys.

"Sure, It'll be fun!" Taeyong said cooly. I saw Soojung unnie rolled her eyes. This unnie, stop acting like you don't like that Taeyong oppa is going.

I reached my class and sat at my seat when suddenly Mark came to and said,

"Do I need to bring anything?" he asked while smiling.

"Just bring a few clothes with you, since we'll be camping and maybe food?" I said.

"Okay." He said with his usual bright smile.

I just can't wait for the field trip so I could spend some time with him. After daydreaming, I went back to studying.

Eun Na's POV

I just got back from the staff room and went to class. I reached my class and sat at my seat when suddenly Jaemin started to talk to me.

"I heard you were helping with the field trip that the music club is having, do you need help to get things done?" he asked.

"Sure, if you don't mind." In my head, I was screaming "Yes! I NEED HELP"

"When is the field trip again?" He asked.

"This Friday. I have to get all the things I needed by tomorrow." I suddenly remembered the things that I wanted to buy.

"Oh, me too. Do you want to go to the shopping mall together?" he smiled at me.

"Yeah, sure." I agreed.

I don't know why but I saw Kim Bora smirking. I had the feeling that she heard about what we were talking about. I hope she's not planning to join us. After school, Jaemin and I walked to the mall since the mall is very near our school. After we got all the things that we wanted to buy, he walked me home and when we arrived in front of my house, he said to me,

"Sleep well," while patting my hair. "Take care!" he adds. He waved at me while walking backward.

"You too!" I smiled.

After saying that I saw he smiled and he started walking. I watched his back as he walks. I smiled thinking about how he stroked my hair.

The next day, I carried the supplies onto the bus when suddenly I saw Bora there with her backpack with a lot of stuff like she is going on a vacation for weeks. She said in a very aegyo-ey voice that makes me want to puke,

"Jaemin-oppa, please help me carry these!" she said to Jaemin who was standing near the bus with the boys.

We're the same age, it's really funny how she calls Jaemin 'oppa'. I saw Jaemin helped her willingly. I got on the bus immediately and rushed to Soojoong and Jieun unnie. I told them that Bora is coming with us.

"What the hell is she doing here?" Soojung unnie asked.

Jieun unnie rolled her eyes. Annoyed.

"Aaa... I'm sorry I think she overheard Jaemin and I talking about in class." I said.

"It's okay." Soojung unnie said, giving me a small smile.

I sat right behind them and Jaemin get on the bus and sat next to me. Bora sat at the very front because our gang sat at the back of the bus. Jaemin turned to me and asked,

"That girl, she's from our class right?" he pointed at Bora.

"She is. Why?" I nod.

"I was just surprised when she called me oppa!"

"Oh. She's like that since middle school, don't bother her that much." I said with an annoyed face. Because I hate Bora.

"Okay," he said.
