13 Chapter 12

Soojung's POV

I was about to sleep but suddenly my phone started ringing so I pick up the phone. It was Jieun. "What happens? Yah, are you okay? Did something happen?" I asked through the phone quickly.

"Unnie..."

"Oe? What happened? Did something bad happened to Eun Na?"

"Unnie, we need to go to Eun Na's house right now."

"Why? Talk to me here!" I asked her.

"Jaemin... He... didn't make it" she said. I was shocked.

"Who told you?" I asked her while still in shock.

"Winwin told Johnny and then Johnny told me. I was shocked myself" she said.

"What exactly happened?"

"I don't really know. That's why we need to go to her house now."

"Okay!" I quickly end the call with Jieun and called Eun Na.

"Eun Na-yah... I heard what happen"

"Huh?... Oh!... Yeah," she said. I can hear that she was about to cry so I quickly told her "Where are you right now?"

"My house, Why?"

"Stay where you are. We're coming over" I told her.

"Okay..."

I end the call and immediately get ready. I got there with a few plastic bags filled with a lot of snacks and ice cream. I knocked on the door and someone else opened it and it was Yuta oppa.

"Huh?... Soojungie, long time no see! How are you? Come in" Yuta oppa said cheerfully.

"Thank you, I'm good but what are you doing here? I thought you were still in Japan!" I asked him.

"Oh, I just got back tonight and I decided to continue my studies here."

"Ah... Oh, oppa is Eun Na here?" I asked.

"Yeah. Btw, what are you doing here?" he asked.

"Jaemin, Eun Na's boyfriend just passed away a few hours ago," I told him.

"She has a boyfriend?" he asked in shock.

"Yeah," I said with a smile and then I said,

"They were so cute together<3" which made him smile also.

"So, I'm here to cheer her up. Jieun and the other guys are coming over too later. Is it okay for us to a sleepover tonight?" I asked him.

"Of course! My parents are on a business trip anyway" he said.

"Thank you so much, oppa!" I said back to him.

Suddenly, I heard Eun Na's voice as she was run down the stairs saying "Unnie, you came?"

"Yeah" I then greet her with open arms and gave her a big hug.

Then we heard a knocked on the door and once again Yuta oppa opened the door. It was Jieun, Bora and the boys.

"We're here~," Johnny said.

"OMG! Oppa, what are you doing here?" Jieun said in surprise to see him here.

"He just got back from Japan and decided to continue his studies here," I said.

"So... Eun Na, I know you might feel hurt right now but we need to know... what exactly happened?" Jieun and I asked her.

Eun Na just kept quiet. We know that we need to give her some space before she can tell us exactly what happened. Then she opened her mouth and said,

"There is not much to say... they said they did whatever they can but he just couldn't be saved..."

Jieun and I knew that she was about to cry so we gave a group hug to console her. "We are so sorry to hear that Eun Na-yah," all of us said to Eun Na.

"It's okay!" she said trying her best to smile.

"So, is anyone hungry?" Eun Na asked.

"Yes!" literally everyone said it at the same time.

Eun Na was about to go to the kitchen when, "It's okay, Eun Na... I can cook food. You just sit right here and wait" Taeyong said surprisingly. He was so kind enough to cook so I decided to help him.

"So, what are we cooking?" I said to him.

Suddenly, Yuta oppa came into the kitchen and said, "So, when did Eun Na started dating?"

"Um just about a few months ago before he passed away" I responded.

"What happened? How did he die?"

"After we had our fun at the noraebang, we went to the amusement park but then Eun Na and Jaemin decided to go sneak out of the group and just went out on a date secretly. They were joking around and he... got hit by a car" I said to him.

"Wow, Aww I feel so sorry for my Eun Na...Wait!" Yuta oppa said.

"What?" Taeyong said to him.

"What's the date today?"

"It's the 4th of October, why?" Taeyong said.

"OMG! Happy Birthday, Soojungie!!" Yuta oppa said and hugged me.

"Awww, thanks oppa" I said with a smile.

"Hyung! Not to close" Taeyong mumbled.

"What?" Yuta said.

"She's mine!"

"Yah!" I slapped Taeyong's arm.

"You guys are dating?!"

"Yeah" I answered.

"Wow, what about Jieunie?" Yuta asked.

"Oh, she's dating Mark," I said while going through the cupboard for food.

"Aww, I didn't know all three of you are going to be dating at the same time. Wow, you guys are really best friends" he said.

"Oppa~" I whined at Yuta oppa.

"Are we going to cook or not, hyung?" Taeyong asked changing the topic.

I laugh quietly at Taeyong for changing the topic. Taeyong and I just cook a simple meal. We all ate and had fun that night. Kun, Winwin, and Ten even danced to TWICE 'Cheer Up' for EunNa. It was so cute and funny.

After we had our fun, the girls went upstairs and the boys stayed downstairs because the girls will be asleep upstairs and the boys downstairs. We girls decided to have a relaxing spa night. We put on the animal mask and made fun of each other for how funny we look. We also watch movies and dramas, eat snacks, and just do anything to keep EunNa's mind at ease.

At the end of the night, we all just talk. "EunNa-ya, even though I hate bringing it up again but I am really sorry for what happened. We all are." I said hating the fact that we just cheered her up.

"It's okay" she replied.

"You know the funeral is tomorrow, right?" Bora said to her.

"I know," Eun Na said in a somewhat sad and quiet voice.

"You know that we will be by your side the whole entire day," Jieun said with her cheered up voice.

"Yeah," Bora and I said.

"Thanks, guys," Eun Na said with a smile and we all hugged it out. We talked and we laughed the entire night but we slept quietly early because of the event that is going to take place tomorrow.

Jieun's POV

Today was the day of Jaemin's funeral. We, girls all wake up and got dressed. Soojung unnie wore a casual black blouse with a pair of black trousers and she tied her hair into a ponytail. I wore my short sleeves black dress with a cardigan on and just left my hair down while Eun Na put on her long sleeves laced black dress and she ties her hair into a half up half down. Bora wore a slack top with high-waisted pants.

I felt so sorry for Eun Na. Her facial expression was as black as her dress. We went down after getting ready and saw the boys are all well dressed up with their black suits on. Can't lie but they were really good-looking, shh. Yuta oppa went with us as well. After arriving, Eun Na went straight to Jaemin's parents and greeted them. As usual at the funeral, the girls (us) helped Jaemin's parents around and served some food as soju to the elders and teas for the boys while Jaemin's parents are talking with the other guest.

After paying our respect, we went to the dining room to eat. "Guys, don't be sad. Jaemin won't be happy seeing us sad. I'm sure he's in a better place now" said Jisung after observing our facial expressions.

"Yeah, after all, he was a nice guy," said Ten.

We all ate our food silently. I looked at Eun Na to see how she is doing and she just ate quietly and not minding others business. I just felt bad, he was her FIRST boyfriend ever and he just suddenly gone. She's just hurt and sad. I wanted to talk to her but I just let her have her own space.

After eating, we went back to our own home. I wanted to send Eun Na home but my parents keep on asking me to come back home. I was about to go to the train station when someone grabbed my arm. I was nervous about who was that. I turned around and saw it was just Mark. I sighed in relief.

"YAH. You scared me. I thought you were some stranger pulling on my arm" as I hit his arm.

"Ow. I'm sorry to scare you. I was just thinking that we should go home together" he said.

"Okay" I was turning my direction to the train station when Mark said,

"Let's walk... I'll walk you home." With his bright smile which was making my heart flutter.

"Huh?!... Okay," I said.

When we reach the junction, he finally says something, "Do you mind if we stop at that park over there?"

"Sure but why?" He just smiled at me.

I don't know what has gotten into me but I just linked my arms with Mark and I can tell he was just smiling. He grabbed my hands and pulled me closer.

"When was the last time I said 'I love you'?" he said while staring at me questioningly, it's very cute though!

"Aaaa, not sure. Why?" I asked him. He stopped walking and automatically I stopped too. He pulled me really close to him until I can actually feel him breathing "I love you" he whispered then kissed my cheeks that lasted for 5 seconds and slowly move closer to my lips. He leaned in closer and gently kissed me. He's so gentle, I died. He leaned back and smile and I smile back.

To escape from the awkward silence, I quickly said to him "It's getting late, we have school tomorrow" and running out of there laughing. He runs after me and of course, he was faster. He caught up to me. He back-hug me and started to spin me around which made me giggle.

"Yah, jinjja hajima. Put me down, Mark" I said while still laughing. He put me and whispered in my ears,

"You will never be late when you are with me" which made me quite happy.

We continued walking to my house while linking arms. We finally reached my house and we said our goodbyes.

"Goodnight! Please be careful when you're going back home, okay?" I said to him while giving him a kiss on the cheek.

He smiled and said, "Okay, ma'am. Goodnight! See you tomorrow."

I waved at him and went to my house went suddenly my phone rings. It was a message. It reads 'I LOVE YOU' and of course it was from Mark. I just smile and giggle. I replied to him 'I LOVE YOU 2. GOODNIGHT<3' and went straight to my room.

I went into my room was thinking and saying to myself, "I am really sorry for Eun Na, it might be the saddest night of her life but it's the best of mine. I'm really sorry Eun Na-yaTT TT." And I just had my #1 Kiss<3

Eun Na's POV

I wanted to start my day with a fresh start, knowing that Jaemin is in a better place. After kissing my parents goodbye, I went to school. While walking to school I ran into Kun oppa.

"Hey!"

"Hi," I said to him.

"How are you feeling?" he asked.

"I'm fine... just good." The atmosphere went awkward. We just walk in silence the entire time. He walked me to my class. Winwin was there. He saw us and he looked quite mad.

"Is everything okay?" I asked him.

"Everything is fine!" he said with a fake smile.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah"

"Okay..." I said back.

"How about you? How are you holding up?" he said suddenly.

"Fine. I miss him a lot but so far I'm fine" I said back trying not to cry.

"Good for you," he said with a smile which made me smile also.

I sat at my seat and look through my notes when suddenly I heard a group of girls behind me talking.

"Have you heard about what happens to Jaemin?" one of the girls said.

"Yeah, I've heard"

"I'm sorry for this family though," another one of them said.

I was hearing the entire thing they said and I was trying my best not to cry or tear up but then a tear just starts to drop from my face. I guess Winwin heard what they were talking about and was watching/staring at me and even handed me a tissue. He also strokes my head, trying to conceal me. I mouth him "Thank you." I appreciate everything he had done for me. I wipe my tears away before the teacher came. Then the bell rang and the teacher came. The lessons start then and it was just like before, NORMAL!!

The bell rang for recess and everyone was going to the cafeteria but I just stayed in the classroom. I texted to Soojung and Jieun unnie that I will not be there today because I just have a lot of stuff to think. I went out of the classroom and went start to the garden instead and was just reading my book, breathing fresh air. I was trying my best to concentrate on my book but I just freaking can't.

Suddenly, Winwin came and sat next to me. "You are not okay!" he said.

"I'm fine, really," I said to him. I was being a bit stubborn at that time.

"Hey, even though we just know each other a few days but I feel like I know for years, and seeing you right now, you're not okay. Anyone can tell you are not holding it well. You're trying to look strong for us but you can't just hide it. Be open and tell if you're hurting. You know you have lots of friends to talk to and you have 2 BEST friends are also there for you and are hurting to see you like this...not only them but...I too am very worried about you" he said.

I started to tear up even more and I smile at him. THEN... Winwin hugs me and he said "And you know that I will always be with you and lean you a shoulder to cry on," he said to me. Like no joke that made my heart flutter so much. It was beating so fast. I thought to myself 'Why is it beating so fast...Eyy there is no way that I actually have feelings for him. No, I can't. Jaemin just passes, you can't move that fast.'

I stopped crying and said, "Thank you so much for being there for me. You have been such a great friend to me and I am just so lucky to have you," while releasing my grip from the hug. He looked quite disappointed with what I said but then he smiles at me.

We were just standing there looking at each other when suddenly the bell rang and recess was over. We went to class and continued the NORMAL routine/life.

[2 months later]

After months of trying to cope with Jaemin's passing, surprisingly Winwin has always been there for me. He conceals me when I'm in tears when Soojung and Jieun unnie isn't there. He has been there like a boyfriend has. OMG! Am I in love with Winwin? I know it's wrong so I trying my best to get rid of those feelings starting now.

Suddenly, someone tapped on my shoulder and it was and you guessed it, Winwin. "Hey!" he said with a smile. 'Ahh... why do you have to smile so cutely' I said in my mind.

"Hi..." I said awkwardly.

"Are you okay?" he said.

"Ah... yeah... I'm just fine" I said.

"If you are really okay then should we get to class now?" he said with another freaking cute smile.

"...Yeah," I said back to him while avoiding eye contact.

Seriously what should I do? I must tell Soojung and Jieun unnie about my problem!! I have no idea what to do here. It's going to be even more awkward for me to be hanging out with him later TT. Ah~ jinjja ottoeke?!
