3 No Easy Way Out

"Wise men say only fools rush in,"

But to me rushing out is the bigger mistake.

Ending something before it would truly begin,

When supposed to give and get, deciding to take.

What is the point in giving up hope?

You aren't expected to be fearless.

Just don't be eager to quit when you think you can cope,

Because who ever said that love was tearless?

Wilted flowers still make a bouquet,

It's state makes it no less bridal.

So even if there is no clear way,

The solution need not be suicidal.

I may simply be all too young,

To understand what it's all about.

But to safely jump off a ladder, jump the bottom rung,

And you'll see that there's no easy way out.

If life is a blessing, and a blessing is good,

Why must there be such doubt?

I'm gone in more deep than I really should,

Now I see there's no easy way out.

I feel the pain that I need to accept;

It'll only hurt more with repression.

And I feel the love I must confess, except

Love should not be a confession.
